Dirk's Heating

We have been using Dirk and his crew for 20+ years on our homes in Bellevue and Issaquah. They have both repaired and replaced our equipment. Jeff is awesome. They can often get things working without expensive replacements and are not hung up on using expensive OEM parts when other, less costly, replacement parts work just fine.

Tom is the best technician I have ever seen!

We brought a house in Bellevue this year. The hydronic heating system is as old as the house, which is built in 1963. There are 3 zones in my house and the bedroom zone stopped working. I saw this company has been maintained this system since 2004, and I called them without any hesitation. Tom came and found the root cause within a few minutes. He told me what part should I buy and how can I fix it by myself. I followed his instruction, and it is working again!!!! Amazing!

My furnace stopped working over the weekend, called Dirk, and he patiently troubleshooted with me over the phone to get the furnace running temporarily again before technicians were able to come out. Due to the pandemic and labor shortage, local HVAC companies were sometimes booked for months, and fewer are willing to spend the time to actually fix things instead of just replacing. Their technician Geoff was able to squeeze me into his tight schedule, diagnose the cause (bad gas valve) and get the parts the next day. They've been in business for decades and Geoff have been with them for more than a decade, and I really appreciate their honest, good-old-fashioned way of doing business, with reasonable labor charges and a good effort to fix things (instead of being charged hundred dollar service call fees before even fixing a thing, and upselling unnecessary products.)

My parents heater stopped working for two days and was so cold at night they couldn't sleep. They had a technician from PSE who told them the furnace needs to be replaced. We wanted a second opinion so we called Dirk's and he came out himself. Within 20 mins, he had the heater working. We so appreciate not having to change out a furnace that is in perfect working condition.

Called Dirk's from Issaquah, WA to have them come out and get the furnace working in my recently purchased condo. Was told a tech would arrive within 2 hours. Called back when no one had shown up after 3 hours, and the dispatcher told me he "... just found out they went to a Sonics game." He said the game had ended 30 minutes prior and the 'they' would arrive shortly. Two hours later, no one had shown up. At this point, I had to leave the condo to return to my apartment. I called to let them know I was leaving and was told "I'm giving them your information now".

I cancelled the appointment. If you cannot even get honesty when trying to set up an service call, how can you expect honest work. Caveat emptor.

Dirk's Heating are great people! I was having trouble with my furnace and they walked me through steps to figure out what was wrong and then he helped me order and find the parts for cheaper. Gotta love the olde Issaquah companies!

CALLED THESE GUYS TO GET AN ESTIMATE FOR A NEW FURNACE BECAUSE WE WERE TOLD OUR OLDER MODEL COULD NOT BE FIXED & WITHIN 24 HRS OF OUR INITIAL CALL THEY HAD OUR OLD FURNACE (“THAT COULDNT BE FIXED”) RUNNING SMOOTHLY !!
WE WILL USE THEM WHEN OUR FURNACE NEEDS TO BE REPLACED & FROM NOW ON. WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM !!
