Pros: The staff was great and Jason was very skilled and helpful.

Cons:
200% to 400% mark up on parts.

I live 15 miles from their office they charged me for 75 miles twice!.

The quote was half of the actual cost.

Also I asked to be invoiced twice to no avail and finally had to go into their office to get the invoice and pay it.

So my advice if you need service from these guys they are good at what they do and they will get it done right but its going to cost you and defiantly order in your own parts.

Absolutely amazing.
The staff are very helpful, knowledgeable and always there when you need them.
We had our furnace go out during the coldest time of the year. The very next day Jason the tech was at our house diagnosing the problem. We had heat restored in no time. We also purchased a new AC unit during the summer from A-1 as well.. Thank you so much for helping our family and being apart of our community.

Really great company. Jodi in the office is so helpful, the employee who assessed our needs and did the bid was knowledgeable and accurate, and the installers were quick, thorough, helpful, and clean. I have already recommended them to a neighbor and we will be using them again when we get our fireplace replaced.

These people started out very promising and quickly went downhill. It has been a battle just to maintain contact with them. They don’t return calls to us like they say they will and they rarely pickup when we call them. We started this process three weeks ago and they are still not finished. They have rescheduled their techs to where they don’t show up here to finish work multiple times. We started all of this before they got busy because we even verified that they haven’t hit their busy season yet with their techs. This should have been a one day job according to them yet we are paying over 7k for a premium service and have gotten nothing but obstacles. They’re contracted electrician left our gate open so our dogs could have gotten out. They had us on the schedule today to do the final startup but then never came and now won’t answer any phones. I really had high hopes but this is proving to be very difficult with them. They’re not a bad company but seem to lack in organization. They are still completing the work and the owner is apologetic but it has surely been a difficult process.

Exceptional service, they held my stove for me for nearly four months and worked with me through the covid shutdowns keeping me updated when they would be back. Then during the installation they took the utmost care not to scratch my custom hearth pad or laminate wood flooring which was no easy feet as they had to move 400 lbs of steel and stove until it was all centered. They finished off the install with a collar like piece around the top of the pipe in the ceiling and then painted over the steel that had been painted when in the ceilings were done. Very knowledgeable in their trade and advised me appropriately with stove brand related questions . They then left me with a care package box of fire starters glass cleaner and additional sealant. I really am thrilled with the job they did top notch.

Excellent knowledgeable service....prompt bids that were accurate for what the job ended up costing. Never pushed for upgrades etc that would have cost more. Called to give us notice ahead of times for showing up for work etc to remove 25 year old heat pump and furnace and install new units. Perfect clean up and removal. Have done other services for us for 14 years. We have always been pleased.

The ONLY technician that A-1 has to troubleshoot propane heating stove problems is Jason ... and he is AWESOME !! He is personable, knowledgeable, efficient and AWESOME ...all rolled into one!!! Hire this guy to solve ANY propane heating stove problem!!!!!

I do not recommend this company. We started having trouble with our geo working in October. It’s now December and they never resolved the issue. Had a tech come out 2-3 times. The owner won’t return phone calls, and when a family member reached out for me as well he only text instead of calling and was more of a smart “@$$” blaming the homeowners responsibility to change water filters. The filters were a suggestion to the problem and when we changed them the unit still was not functioning which was why we were reaching out to the owner. Complete lack of care for our problem. After digging up our drain pipe as another “possible” problem, I next did not want to pay a well person for another “possible” problem that could have been going on. I called another heating company and within 3 days they came out and a couple hours later found the problem with our unit, and fixed it. The problem was not with my well, the drain pipe, or the water filters. Simply an adjustment to the unit itself!!!! 😡 so much time was waisted with A1.
