Denali Heating & Air Conditioning

Perfect Timing!!! So the week is the Hottest of the year everyday is high 90’s and my house for some reason is 95 degrees inside. I called Denali of course they are always our go to heating and cooling Guys considering we have used some of the other companies locally )Never again!!!) Denali is our go to. We have been having Denali coming to our home for years. Ryan was sent to our house he did his thing and found the leak and was able to get us fixed and back up and running in a day. Ryan was extremely informative and efficient. Ryan was able to explain everything and give us quotes depending on what we decided to do and I appreciate his knowledge and thankfully for being very fast in making sure we don’t roast this Summer inside.

I want to thank Ryan D (& Scott initially) for the work they did on our heat pump system. Both worked hard to figure out, first a heat pump issue and then an auxiliary heat problem over a two day period. Ryan was especially tenacious. He spent the better part of 7 hours on the second day (on his own) making sure to run down the smallest leak in our system, and getting us cooling back just in time for the heat wave coming this week. Denali's is well represented by their service reps and come highly recommended by me.

I called for a service man to come check our unit as the air conditioning was nit working properly. Ryan came out and was beyond thorough to find out the problem, he was very friendly and informative and very appreciative of his hard work. We will definitely use this company again and highly recommend both the company and Ryan. Thank you again..

Called Denali on a record hot week to replace our 20+ year old furnace and heat pump which was failing. Tristan came and gave us an estimate and ordered our replacement quickly. Tristan was a guy. The technicians were very professional and kept their work clean and left no mess behind. Our house is now regulating heat better than we had hoped for.

Denali was a pleasure to work with. From the salesman to the techs I couldn't more pleased.
I choose a 19 seer unit for its size and noise rating. I can no longer hear my outside unit unless I'm standing right next to it. The Installation was very clean and the Technician's were friendly and very knowledgeable.

My heat pump froze over 2 months after purchasing my home. I called Denali because of the reviews and the simple fact that I like to support my local businesses. Unfortunately, their techs lack of knowledge and experience costed me over $500 and left me with a $400 power bill (emergency heat for 2 months). They sent someone out to diagnose my system and discovered that my defrost board wasn’t working and it was low on refrigerant, the tech stated that it’s not uncommon for older units to have minor leaks and he refilled it and told us that if we replaced the defrost board we’d be back up and running, problem free. He also mentioned our system seemed to be in great shape and it should last us another 5 years or so! I paid the $562 bill and had it replaced based on his “professional” advise. Exactly 2 weeks later, the heat pump turned into a block of ice again. This time when I called, I asked about getting a quote to replace the entire system with hope that they would apply that $562 bill to a new unit. I was told I’d get a call back for a quote, weeks go buy and I had to call them back again because I had no contact from them. They finally came back with a quote and by this time I gathered a few additional quotes. Denali was over $2000 higher then both other estimates! But they said they would apply that $562. This was for the same exact heat pump system. Wow!!! I asked for a refund of this misdiagnosed $562 repair, and they said they would not refund my money. I even offered to eat the cost of parts to make it a little easier on them and they still said no.

Unfortunately, this is just a brief overview. I would recommend anyone that needs Heating and cooling work to get quotes elsewhere and think twice before supporting this business. I’m bummed I have to write these reviews and share my bad experience.

On a positive note, the Lady that answers the phone over there is very polite! But techs that lack experience will lead to money lost and headache.

The service man was very polite and extremely knowledgeable and instead of a brand new heat pump, He got my old one alive to fight another day, There are not enough good things I can say about Denali heating & Air Conditioning PLUS they are A Union Shop. So give them plenty of business in the future. A company this good deserves to grow and flourish in our community

They did a very nice job, clean install. Very knowledgeable and professional staff and technicians. They had the new heat pump and air handler installed in a day. Prices were very reasonable. Highly recommend them!

Ryan is the best. He follows in the steps of the original owners trust worthy ness and makes sure that the system is fixed right before he leaves.
