As a small hvac company, we installed Heil products purchased from Southern Refrigeration for 30plus years. After ending this relationship due to pricing issues about 3 years ago, it has now become impossible to get repair parts from Southern Refrigeration in a timely manner. We have no issues with the Heil brand. The problem is with the wholesaler. A part that is to be sent two day UPS somehow doesn't arrive for two weeks. And that is if it does arrive at all. This has occurred 7 times in the past year. On top of that, these are units that are less than 4 years old. This is a warning for HVAC contractors. Be careful of the brand you decide to install because if you have a falling out with the person you are purchasing it from, this can happen to you.
