I was pleased that they could respond to help me by the next day but then it ended. When the plumber got here I explained the problem, he came to a different idea of the source of the problem. After rodding out my line several times the water was flowing so he put everything back together. $400 later and he was in the truck getting ready to leave and I have the same problem again. I ran out to the truck and stopped him from leaving. I once again said what I thought was wrong and he took the small autovent off the drain line and everything worked. I had to go get the part and replace myself because he couldn't stay and fix. I don't think I will use them again.
Update - They reached out to me were very concerned about what happened. He told me he had spoken with the Tech and the service dispatchers and were taking action that this type of thing would never happen again. I was given a full refund and was asked to please consider using their company at another time. I will give this some thought, I feel a company that will reach out to you and try to resolve any issues is one that I would like to have working for me.

Will not use this plumbing again. One installer repaired pipe, which was not done to code and said they unclogged the drain. The drain was still clogged the next day, a second installer came out and denied that the first installer did the repairs, said that they would send the first installer back to on Monday, only for him not to show up. Went with a different company Tuesday and repairs were completed under an hour.

Had a couple of tremendous experiences with the folks from M.A. Williams this weekend when our sewage overflowed. In a true emergency situation, they were fast, courteous and most knowledgeable. A young man named Aragon was particularly helpful. He was thorough and did great quality work.
We have definitely added these folks to our "house partners list"!!

We've worked with M.A. Williams in Richmond for many years. Our sewer lines are old and need more attention than we'd like, but MA Williams has always been prompt, knowledgeable and dedicated to solving our problem. Other contractors in the area recommend them highly, and that goes a long way for us.

The technician mike can out and walked me through exactly what he was doing as he was doing it. He was very friendly and very helpful. Took care of my problem quickly and efficiently and completely took care of my problem. I will definitely use MA Williams for all my future plumbing needs.

My toilet was clogged bad and it was even coming up through the tub. I called M A Williams to come out in hopes to get it repaired. I paid the $50 fee for them to come out and was told that from his experience getting him to pull the toilet up might not work HE DIDNT THINK THE CHANCES OF IT WORKING WERE HIGH and that they were not responsible for the mess that it may cause. He Suggested the other option which was going out front and doing a jittering service job which would range from 1400 to 2000 dollars! He also made it very clear for us NOT to have anyone come and remove the toilet smh Luckily my husband decided to call around and get another opinion. MR.ROOTER DID A AWESOME JOB FOR LESS THAN HALF THE PRICE I RECOMMEND THEM AND THEY DONT CHARGE TO COME OUT JUST TO LOOK AT YOUR PROBLEM! And FYI Mr. Rooter removed our toilet no mess made. Mr. Rooter even cleaned up the mess that the clogged had made with no extra charge!

Called MA Williams this morning for a leaking toilet. Technician came out earlier than the scheduled time on the same day. Checked and double checked his work and was friendly and even knew what a Schipperke (my dog) was. Diagnostic fee only $29.95 and the whole job was less than $200. I know I would have paid three times that much if I had used any of the corporate companies out there. Absolutely wonderful experience. They will be my go to plumbers from here on out!

Dahlia is the young lady that initially took my call. She was able to work her magic and get me on the schedule within an 45min. Mind you I called previous companies and they said they couldn't make it. My technician Mike was very personable, knowledgeable, and efficient. He took care of my kitchen clog in no time. M.A. Williams these employees are definitely assets to the company.

I had this company come out for a service call on my central air unit. This has been the worst possible experience ever. Not only were they an hour and a half later than the two hour window, without calling to tell me (I had to call them to figure out what was going on), but then they proceeded to charge me an additional 79.99 for an "investigation" fee on top of the 49.99 service call charge. None of this was told to me over the phone.
Since that was Friday afternoon, I had to wait until Monday morning to talk to anyone at the company about this. A man named Dave Thompson called and proceeded to tell me that they do not need to disclose the extra 80 dollars over the phone as something that could potentially be needed to be paid. I feel like this is a horrible way to do business. If you want customers to not think that you are cheating them in anyway, you should probably tell them of the likely possibly of the call actually being 130 dollars instead of the 50 dollars you told them. That way, they know exactly what they are getting into and are happy if it turns out to be "something simple that doesn't require tools to diagnose" and they only have to pay 50 dollars. Instead of the alternative, which is way more likely to occur, of the customer deciding to just be out $50 without knowing what's wrong with the system after waiting an additional hour and a half, when I could've been working, and not having the additional $80 to pay.
Dave Thompson doesn't agree and chose to continuously interrupt me and tell me that they can't "spend an hour" on the phone with every customer. Seems to me like it would take about 10 additional seconds to mention the investigation charge is a possibly, while enhancing customer service tremendously and preventing the multitude of bad reviews I am now seeing online about their service, but that could just be my crazy business-minded self.

I was very pleased with the work provided at my duplex on 12/26/17. Both units had very slow bathtub drains. M.A. Williams was on time, with a small 3-hr arrival window, was very professional and courteous, and completely cleared both drains in under an hour. In addition, the price charged was very reasonable.
I plan to call on them again to repair the bathtub diverter pipe for the 1st floor tub; and to repair a drain line that is corroded and not properly sloped.
I highly recommend M.A. Williams for your plumbing needs.
