David came out to check out our furnace and figure out why one bedroom was so much hotter than the rest of the house. He quickly and professionally diagnosed the problem. We had a power surge during or after a lightning storm during the saturday evening of he 4th july weekend and our AC was not working...
The fan was just running constantly with no cooling.
Contacted Carrier through their telephone service and their automatic service says to contact your dealer.
Since we had moved into this house less than 6 months ago, we didnt have anyone to contact.
I remembered that a few months back while having other electrical work done, i needed to contact Carrier as our AC was showing some error after they turned the main breaker back ON.
I was put through to David at A&C Systems directly at that time as it was a weekday...and he stepped me and the electrician through what needed to be done to clear the error and get he AC working again. He did this over the phone and didnt charge us.
Since he was nice enough then, i remembered his contact number and had to search carrier's website for his number and confirm his details again before calling him this time.
I called him on the sunday of that july 4th weekend at 10am and left a message on his cellphone - fully expecting to not receive a call back until monday... but he called back very shortly there after and walked me through again on the phone and tried to help me resolve my issue.
Turned out - i couldnt resolve it - he came out an hour later and worked on the problem and had to consult with carrier on Monday. On that next day, Monday, he was able to confirm that i still had warranty and that the board that needed replacing was covered.
He only charged labor for the time he spent - which actually turned out to be a trip on a sunday and two trips on monday.
I highly recommend his work - he will help you with your AC if its not working.
I want to mention that since i had a home warranty - he did try to have me work the people they wanted to send out, but i told him that it had been more than 6 hours and i still hadnt even been contacted as to arrange an appointment for them to come out...
David was very accommodating and worked hard in helping me with my faulty AC (which was not a common problem either) and suggested ways i could recoup my money also.
I will definitely be using David at A&C systems again.
