I had to wait a while because San Antonio is so big now. All AC guys are freaking busy. But the nicest man.. Roman fixed my AC in 20 minutes. At a very fair price! These guys do the the best they can.. well at least Roman does. Everything is pricey now but I felt well served! Thank you Roman Sir!
As a disabled veteran with limited resources. I used a lease company who charged double for a new AC mini split in 2019 for over $14,000. The company was called annually for malfunctioning and more frequently over year until burning out five days ago. No service for a new unit in the cold weather wasn’t as traumatic thanks to blankets and pets. I feel horrible for homeless looking for places to stay warm and pets left outside in the winter. Companies like this who leave customers out cold or hot discourage hope or and remind God watches. I know I can be hospitalized at my request for overwhelming stress, but I have no one to care for my pets. So I’ll suffer with them in the cold. Update after phone call with company. After they stated the issue is with AC and not company I disagreed. A service the technician bypassed a safety so I could be warm a few months ago in winter before “repairing” unit. I would testify to God almighty on the Bible before a judge how the technician described in details I shouldn’t know. Then a manager ask how I could have a different opinion after a day. San Antonio weather is unpredictable. And he started to blame unit and not the company. For transparency and accountability for frustrations with a company to pass blame. I can’t believe I was an army nurse and have people still argue with me like I’m ignorant.
Great customer service from the office to the site work - checking all the boxes from responsiveness, clear communication and likability - making them very easy/pleasurable to work with. My Technician was very knowledgeable, reliable, efficient.. I like this company a lot and highly recommend them. (work: attic insulation, ac blow out)
Called these guys last year and the price for R-22 was a fair price. This year I set up another appointment and asked how much R-22 ran. And again it was pretty reasonable. I just cancelled my appointment because I'm getting a new unit put in through a friend. But Alamo has been great. Ray was the man sent to my house last year. He was very nice and talked me through what he was doing. As always call around and try to get the best price. But make sure you call Alamo.
We rent our home and the property management company uses Alamo Comfort for servicing any heating and air issues. We have 2 A/C units and a 3400 sq ft 1 story house. The duct work had to be re-routed and both units have had work done several times during the time we've lived here. They are always extremely helpful, call to let you know when the tech is on the way, and have been professional and knowledgeable every time. Highly recommend!
BEST EXPERIENCE EVER WITH AN A/C COMPANY I called on a Saturday morning expecting to get an answering machine , man was I surprised when the owner of the company answered and sent one of his highly qualified technicians over to diagnose my concern. The blower motor was bad and a part would not be available until Monday. The part was found and installed very quickly Monday afternoon. they even got the parts replaced under the Manufactures warranty , I paid labor of course which was a small price to pay. Thank You Alamo Comfort Heating and A/C for your prompt repairs
Horrible service. Our air conditioner went out this weekend and our home warranty company would only allow us to use Alamo Heating and Air Conditioning for service. However, Alamo Heating and Air is not open on the weekends so anyone using them is stuck in the heat. Their hours are M-F from 8 to 5 ONLY with no other way to get emergency service. To top it off, they do not answer their phone even during the office hours as we called several times Monday morning after 8:00 trying to get someone from their company to respond.
Called for an estimate and was given an attitude just for asking "Can I get an estimate" and explaining what I needed. If they can't even have a positive attitude for that I can't imagine what their actual service must be like. Shop elsewhere. Reply: Late reply, but in response to the owners comment I definitely was not reviewing the wrong company. I based it off of the phone # I called directly from this Google listing. Maybe it was an off day for someone or she was out and someone else answered, but I definitely got attitude. If I remember correctly it wasn't a lady who answered when I called, but rather a gentleman.
I am really pleased with the level of service and price I received from Alamo Heating & Air Conditioning. The installer did a great job and had everything done withing a couple of hours.
