Craig was an absolute hero, he came and worked through impossible odds and unbelievable timing as we called for service for a broke AC unit, and got it in the same day. Would highly recommend shellaby.
Shellabys took 3 weeks to repair my a.c. issue. I have M.S. and trigeminal neuralgia. Heat exacerbates M.S. to a point of delerium and severe mental and physical weakness. For 3 weeks we camped outside with a box fan and an air mattress. It was miserable. They only came by a few times the first week and then once a week until the last day of installation. Our warranty company had an issue with the a.c. company.I paid my 85.00 deductible on day one. That should have been the full amount due from me. On day 18, the a.c. company finally come over with a desperately needed unit. BUT they sprung a 300+ Bill on me after they installed new unit. This was an added charge that was not presented to me until the 2 installers were done. I was beyond exhaustion. No energy, and a non working brain to comprehend what was happening. Only so glad to finally have AIR. Then one of the installers argued with me about the extra amount , remember, my deductible was only 85.00. That's all. The installer told me, quite sternly, that if I didn't write the check, He was going to " Rip that unit off of the pad" unless I wrote the check. So I was forced to comply. But I wrote on the check that I was signing it "signed Under Duress". He sued me for the check. It's been a tough ordeal for me physically and mentally. Now I will be forced to file charges against Shellabys for putting us through those 3 weeks of hell. I missed work, appointments, and quality of life due to their lackadaisical attitude and approach to solving my a.c. problem. They should stick to the area in which they reside. It seems as though driving to Corpus Christi is too far out of their scope to take care of an a.c. issue in a reasonable amount of time. 3 weeks without air in September is ridiculous. The trip to the Rockport courthouse was long and crippling. Shame on Shellabys ac
I called Thursday morning about our air conditioner not working. They had one of their awesome guys out that afternoon and had our air conditioner up and running again!! Thank y'all for taking care of us!!
This was the most hassle free ac place I’ve ever dealt with. A professional came right out and fixed my ac issue very quickly and explained what the problem was. Highly recommend!
Made appt one week out. Tech never showed up or called. Spoke with owner who said he would get back to me and then avoided my phone calls. Would not recommend using this company
