I have called on this company several times in the last 6 years and they have always been awesome. They did the original setup of the ac/ furnace in the modular home. 6 years later, they came out when the AC stopped working and found the part outside got damaged from a hail storm and leaked all the freon out. They replaced in a very fast time and at a price that was fair. Last month they came out and did a full inspection so I could be confident the AC would work when it started getting hot. The price was good and the tech was on time, very knowledgeable and made some good recommendations to improve the ACs ability to keep the house cool.

Our AC unit went out and is under warranty so we called to get it fixed. We made an appointment over a week out because that was the soonest they would make it.Fast forward to today when someone was supposed to fix it and by the middle of the day nobody has came by or called so we called them. The lady said someone will be out by 4. Nobody showed so we called again before they closed and she said she would find out who was coming out and call back. Of course we got nothing so we called back again 15 min before they closed and they must of had better things to do because nobody answered. They sure know how to make sure nobody refers them to any one.

Scam. Had warranty on compressor. Had someone come out say it was compressor. They had to come out to confirm and charged me $108 to confirm what I knew. Then 2 weeks later I call and see where the process was and they tell me it will be $1100 for just the labor to replace compressor. What a scam, do not bother with trying to get warranty work through them. They aren't interested in your business. Buying a bigger unit with a trusted servicer around here. There are only 500 hvac specialists in the area....

Jim’s installed our AC around 2019 during winter time. When we turned it on for the first time (spring 2020) it wasn’t operating correctly so they sent someone out for free to take a look. They fixed the problem quickly and I was impressed and even recommended them to others in the neighborhood. That experience is the only thing keeping the second star in this review.

Around 2 weeks ago, our AC unit inside the house started making a high pitch noise, not cooling the house well, and ice was building up on it. We paid over $250 for someone to come out and diagnose and fix the issue. The only issue we were told was it was low on refrigerant, so he refilled the refrigerant and went on his way. I don’t have any pros or cons to say about the man that came out other than he wasn’t very personable, but seemed nice enough.

2 days later we realized the high pitch sound never went away and the house was cooler than before but still not great and there was frost building up on the unit again. I called and spoke to a girl who said a little frost is normal and to just keep watch. Over the last week we noticed it’s still not cooling the house down very well. We checked the unit again last night and solid ice had built up around the unit again, proving to us that the issue was never fixed properly to begin with.

I called first thing thing morning (9:13am to be exact) and was assured someone could make it out today to take another look. At 4:00 I called because I hadn’t heard anything and was told no one could come out today but assured me someone would come out tomorrow instead.

I informed my husband of the situation and he called up to Jim’s himself to speak to someone. The man he spoke to told my husband I didn’t call until a couple hours prior (not true) and he told me he couldn’t make it today (also not true). I never spoke to a man, I spoke to someone named Nancy or Yancy (I think..couldn’t understand her name) both times I called. He further argued with my husband saying it has to be a different issue if they came out and fixed it already, despite my husband telling him it was never fully fixed to begin with.

Long story short, i no longer recommend Jim’s. If it was just a “hey sorry, we’re running behind and can’t make it today but will try again tomorrow” it’d be a different situation. I’m pretty understanding and know stuff just happens sometimes. However, they wanted to lie and blame us for the situation, which is completely unprofessional. As previously mentioned, the only thing saving this from a 1 star review is the one good encounter we did have at the beginning of last year.

I was extremely happy with the prompt service I received. The friendly office staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. I strongly recommend you call and ask for Nita to help you with any questions. I was very impressed with the prompt friendly and professional service I received. I've had other companies come by and not even attempt to fix my 6 year old unit but, rather replace it. I don't have time for that!! Well needless to say, I ran them off my property! Thank you Nita as well as your entire staff for taking care of my AC problems and not charging me a arm and leg... Should the need arise, I will definitely call y'all back!

Went to buy a couple pieces of underpinning/skirting for my trailer. I called prior to going to ask if they had specific color and the lady said “I think so” and after I asked her to check she still only said “yeah I think there’s some out there”. I went to purchase some and she said they were laying against building. Actually, they were laying halfway across the lot in a cardboard box that was unopened and I had to dig through myself to find correct color. Very unprofessional and would not recommend.

I really wouldn't give them any stars!! I had a bad experience with them they came to fix my air conditioner..and never got it to work then they told me to call the manufacturer of my mobile home cause it probably had to do with the vents...then when the ppl from where i bought it at called them they lied saying they never told me that and that they left it running when he left...well i called one hour air conditioning and they figured it out in five minutes that they wired it wrong!!! I give the 5 stars to one hour!!!

Called in the morning because our AC had gone out, Jimmy answered the phone and got our information. Larry later came out and fixed our AC. He was very quick to find the issue, and fixed it in a timely manner! Very happy with them and their work!

Great people. Called them on a Thursday for a new A/C unit and was delivered by 10am the next morning and installed by 3pm. Same people that installed original A/C unit 16 years previously in 2004.

Called to ask about specific part and correct size before making the 15 mile drive only to get the this place of business and not have the size I specifically asked about. Complete lack of customer service, if I could give less than one star I would.
