This company replaced my whole system (2 units) after the Houston flood. I checked prices from other companies and Space City was very comparable. However, the units they quoted were much better than their competitors. Secondly, they were here in 2 days and installed everything in one day. These units are so efficient that my A/C bill dropped 60% this summer! Secondly, six months later we had an issue with clogged drains and one system not operating. I called and the techs, Cheetoh & Francisco, were here in one hour. Flushed everything and system working as good as ever. I hate writing long reviews but these guys deserve it! Thanks for the great service!

When you first meet Cheetos Garcia and his crew, they are all wearing pressed uniforms embroidered with the name of the company and their own names
They began by discussing your needs, taking appropriate measurements and calculating what is the best equipment for your size of living space. This is a complete installation in a 100-year-old 2 story house.
After this discussion we agree on the concept and the price and began the process.
All care is taken not to disrupt the household and not to leave any debris behind.
Drop cloths are placed to protect the environment and demo is undertaken.
Then all the new equipment and duct work are installed, all according to code. New registers and thermostats and dampers are installed. Amazing, not a leak to be found.
After we had the system running for a day it took 2 quick revisits to perfectly fine tune everything.
I wish all my contracting jobs went as smooth and with complete success as this job went with Space City Mechanical. I highly recommend them for any job large or small and I shall be calling on them for all my HVAC needs.

We have been a Space City Mechanical customer for over 13 years. Mr. “Cheetos” Garcia, the owner, is a licensed professional who believes in performing a quality job. Cheetos has flawlessly installed new Trane units at our residences. Space City Mechanical currently services our primary residence and our coastal home. I have tried other HVAC companies in the past but none compare to the quality of service I receive from this company. I believe in investing in quality equipment such as Trane or American Standard but I also expect stellar service during service calls.

After Hurricane Harvey, Mr. Garcia and his service technicians handled the HVAC reconstruction of our residence. Mr. Garcia exceeded my expectations while dealing with the City of Houston permitting requirements.

Cheetos and his guys did a bang up job in 1 day! Have 2 AC units at my house, 1 completely not working since Harvey and the other needed ductwork and various other fixes. Those guys at Space City completed everything in 1 day! Should've been an easy 2 day job but they were quick, efficient and and thorough. Space City Mechanical installed my new American Standard AC system in 2008 and the house has been cool and efficient ever since. My electricity bills were reduced and it was one less thing I had to worry about. Cheto Garcia's crew came out and Cheto was with them personally to QC and set up the system with his many years of industry experience and expertise. I was extremely pleased with the professionalism and post-installation reliability. He even troubleshooted my old system which was on its last leg and kept it running until I was ready to get a new system. When our kids were still living in the house and we had our old system one room was always warmer than the others. Cheto and his crew came in on a Sunday morning, re-balanced the plenum and installed new duct work and a new vent and the room is cold to this day, even on the hottest summer day. I definitely endorse Space City Mechanical for any AC and furnace needs you may have. It will give you peace of mind knowing your home will be comfortable and you will have the reliable 24/7 service and maintenance you need with just a phone call or text.

I have used Cheeto Garcia and Space City Mechanical for about 10 years now, and I don't even think about using anyone else. He came out again last night when my compressor went out at 10:30 PM, took care of my problem, and had my family sleeping in comfort before the first day of school today. It's not the first time I have needed him in an emergency, and he has ALWAYS delivered. He is professional and super nice, and most importantly, I trust him implicitly to both do a good job fixing the problem and charge me an appropriate price...nothing more. The A/C went out in our daughters townhouse. It was an old unit, about 40 years old. It took Cheetos time in the hot sun diagnosing what was wrong, then searching to find another motor and contractor - rather than having to replace the entire unit. We got another 5-10 years out of the unit and have a warranty to help us for the short term. Great job!

Cheetohs has been servicing my A/C for 10 years and is always there when we need him. He recently installed to American Standard units at my house. He was in and out in a day. Clean install and systems are running fantastic! Worry free summer in H-Town for me:)
