When we moved to Houston we got referred to Ethan Clark A/C by our neighbors, whom have been using their services for 15+ years. And we couldn't have been more pleased with them.

Joe (the owner's father) answers the phone and emails, and will get your job scheduled as soon as possible. He will also text you when the technician is on his way, including a picture and name of the technician, so you know who's coming 😉

They offer excellent, professional and quality service at a very fair price. Ethan Clark takes pride in their work (which, sadly, is rare these days) and take care of their customers! They are always very transparent about costs and work to be done, and will not try to (up)sell you anything you don't need.

Where most other A/C companies nowadays will try to get you to just replace whatever unit you have, Clark (the owner) and the technicians working for him will always try to repair your unit first, unless they truly believe other solutions are more beneficial and cost-effective to you. They will always discuss the different options with you and explain to you what will be the best and/or most cost effective solution (depending on your needs and plans).

Also, as you will also read in other reviews, Clark is very knowledgeable and is able to fix many issues that other (so-called) A/C companies/technicians are not able (or willing) to fix.

We could not be happier and will always recommend them to anyone asking for a referral.

The team that came out was at all times courteous and professional. Described what he was going to do, what he found, what I needed, did it quickly, and payment was seamless. Emailed receipt. Best of all - have me information for work I could do myself and save $100s. True professionals.

My daughters AC went out on Fathers day and she called Abacus Plumbing and AC to check it out...They told her she needed a new main board at $1500 but really needed a whole new unit and what monthly payment would she be comfortable with (real used car stuff)..She got Ethan Clarks name from Nextdoor. They came by and fixed a bad wire on a switch in the attic not even part of the AC. No charge just the trip charge...That my friends is how you do business....

Excellent, polite, professional service from start to finish! They replaced my system and I couldn’t be happier with their work. They even bring a vacuum to clean up after the work is done. They are true professionals and I highly recommend them. Ethan Clark ADDED baffles to my system to improve air distribution throughout my house! Ethan Clark AC are a top-notch team of experienced, honest professionals. We used them twice. The first time we thought we'd have to replace a $10-15k system, only to have them identify the issue and pay ~$600 for the repair. On the second visit shortly thereafter they diagnosed a poorly installed thermostat (owner error) as well as followed up on first repair to ensure it was all still functional (i.e. freon wasn't leaking after a few weeks). During both visits, the two different technicians thoroughly explained the issues, educating us on background & history, and used their extensive knowledge to offer options to resolve our issues. I would highly highly recommend them to anyone needing HVAC solutions in Houston.

They came out the same day and got my air conditioner up and running. They were honest and straight forward and just repaired what was broken. I was very thankful they did not try to sell me more than was needed. As others have done in the past. The price was reasonable. I will definitely use this company again.
