So, this contractor was assigned through my home warranty on a Monday to diagnose/repair a non-working AC. They set an appointment for 7am-11am that Friday. On Thursday afternoon I called them to confirm the appointment as usually one would call the customer to confirm the arrival window. They were happy to tell me yes they would be there between those times. I give them the benefit of the doubt and figure the office staff are just busy. Fast forward.......they don't show up, don't call to offer a later arrival time, don't call to reschedule, and refuse to answer or return phone calls. My only recourse is to request another contractor be assigned through the warranty company.
What a shady operation this is. Ghost a customer on Friday afternoon in late May. If you can't get the basics right (IE. Communicate, show up, if you can't communicate that, and be responsive), you probably shouldn't move on to anything else.
Do not expect these people to show up. It's apparent that they screened my attempts to contact them. I'll be explaining this in detail up the chain with my warranty company so that they lose business over this......because they should take a hit to their reputation over this sketchy garbage.
Also of note: look at the cliche writing of all their 5 star reviews. These were either solicited or written by the same person.

Update. They’re holding the claim for 2 and a half week and lying to the warranty company that they’ll schedule an appointment with me because I posted this review. They’re not letting the claim move forward. Thank you for the delay and the level of professionalism. ….Don’t show up after setting the appointment and no communication for so. Won’t pick up phone and keeps going to voicemail when trying to inquire or set an appointment. Delayed handling if at all. Can’t do appointments after 3 pm because it is not business hours for them and when took a day off for them to accomodate that, they won’t show up. Height of unprofessionalism. Avoid at all cost

Do NOT use this company. They have rescheduled on me twice with several days apart. I clear out my day in order to be home during the scheduled time frame and they cancel the day of. Absolutely unacceptable. Especially in these temperatures.

Highly recommend this company I experienced prompt and wonderful service, the owner and team are knowledgeable along with great customer service, short story our old ac unit tanked had a whole new upgraded system at affordable cost. Owner is honest and will give you best advice unlike what our home shield pushing us to use other outrageous company with ridiculous prices. Definitely rated at highest level ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Mechanical of Dallas gave exceptional service repairing our A/C unit. I called they came and they were always professional & arrived on time. They explained in detail my issue and resolved it in a timely manner. A part had to ordered & once the item arrived they returned to complete the job & our system is working properly. I would recommend them. Thank you Hilda for keeping in touch and Jeremy for the awesome work on the unit!

The company is managed extremely poorly. The owner/manager is totally incompetent.
Mechanical of DFW picked the job of AC circuit breaker tripping through Home Warranty on 5/11/2022, came home to diagnose on 5/12. On 5/15 Home Warranty sent me this message, “(05/15/22 04:54 PM) Thank you for your email. Our records indicate we are awaiting the diagnosis. Once received, you will receive an update via email.” Mechanical of DFW finally submitted the information on 5/16 and claim was approved for repair.
Mechanical of DFW told us that it was compressor replacement was under manufacturer warranty, and they have ordered the compressor with Carrier Corp, but it’s taking a while to get parts. The owner/manager Hilda told us that we should be patient and let her do her job. I would call back every few days and hear the same story. I also left about 4 messages, but never got a call back.
On 5/26 I pressed Hilda for answers and provide me the order # with Carrier Corp about the compressor (that’s what the Carrier Corp customer service had asked me).
On 5/31 Hilda finally provided me the order # with Carrier Corp, and Carrier told me that this order was just paced on 5/31. So Mechanical of DFW kept us waiting for 19 days, even when they didn’t place the order for compressor and didn’t have the personnel to complete the job.
When we pushed Hilda on this on 6/3, she refused the job with home warranty company stating that she does not have the personnel to complete it.
Home warranty company then assigned the job to Airmatics Co. William came in the next morning, diagnosed the problem, got approved from the home warranty within the next few hours, picked up new compressor from Carrier and installed it the same day by 6:30PM.
Stay far away from Mechanical of DFW, as they’ll take the job and keep you hanging without AC when they don’t have competent management and personnel to complete it. I’m also reporting them to BB and the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.

We purchased a home in Crowley and needed to use the home warranty for an AC repair. The home warranty assigned the work and Mechanical of DFW excepted the work request. First visit did not fix the issue. Second promised visit, technician was a NO show. Not even a courtesy phone call with an explanation or to reschedule. I pursued them for another scheduled visit. Same results, NO SHOW and NO explanation after I have called and left several messages.
Don’t waste your time and money with this company. If I could rate them with a ZERO they would be.
