UPDATE: I was contacted by the company and they apologized for sending the tech that did a poor job. Rob, the owner, said he would send Ruben out to do the job the other tech didn’t do. Ruben has been to my house several times over the years and always have gone up and beyond…..like he is did today. Like I said before I have used this company for over 20 years and have always had excellent service. Rob, the owner, responded to my complaint and I received the service I was accustomed to. This company installed my system 22 years ago. I have had it serviced every year since. This year the guy they sent out was a temporary guy that was helping out until he starts his new job in 30 days. All he wanted to do was sell me something. In past years, they always took my unit apart and cleaned it and got it ready for the season. This year het sat on a bucket and did nothing for 15 minutes. I called the office after he left and told them my experience. All she said was that she would tell the boss. I didn’t hear back from anyone. I would have thought someone would have called and offer to send someone else out and finish the maintenance…didn’t happen. I guess customer loyalty means nothing. I don’t know if they have had a change in ownership, but with this kind of service and not caring…they will loose customers. Needless to say, this is the last service call I will make. Very unhappy!
We used this company last week to have our ducts cleaned and sanitized. Everything we read online sounded professional and what we wanted. The two guys that showed up did not put on shoe protection, there were no before and after photos taken of the ducts. They had me sign the 'document' before starting which stated I was satisfied with their work and would not begin until I did so. They never cleaned the ducts as I took photos from several vents still showing them in the same condition. They were at the house less than 40 minutes from arrival, walk through until the "cleaning". I asked for a refund of the cleaning portion as I don't mind paying their service fee to come out and after a week there has been no communication, return calls or follow up. I have initiated a credit card dispute for the $926 charge for the poor service. Stay away!!!
I've used Ace Air & Heat for 15 years. They have serviced my unit yearly with great pricing and service. Today it was time for new unit and I could not be more impressed with Brian and Rubens courteous and professional install of my new unit. They arrived next day on time as they stated. They were friendly and informative and didn't leave a trace of a mess. I am really happy with the great price and awesome warranty.
Great Company, Rob .. the Owner is very professional and the company have great Techs like Barry , Ruben and Nick ! Barry came out spent over 1 Hour seeing what they could do to upgrade our 1980’s System ! They gave us a great deal and were Awesome ! When they came to install they walked us thru everything going to do and the stages ! As they completed the work they showed us what phase they were doing ! They even figured out how to put a larger filter in our Heater in a very cramped space ! They fixed wiring issues no charge , upgraded a lot of stuff no extra charge ! Just professional, honest company that get you a great deal and want you to be happy !
We could not have asked for a nicer Company to upgrade our Home ! Cheers to Barry for not only saving us money but coming over checking on things and making sure we were happy !
So if you need a great System... American 🇺🇸 Standard .. what we had in the house since 1986 and it lasted that long .. so we went with them again and Rob the Owner !

When it came time to upgrade, Ace came thru again with 19 seer units that are very quiet and efficient. Don't hesitate to use Ace- you won't be disappointed.
I have used Ace Air Conditioning to replace my air conditioning in 2015, and continued the 6 month service with them. Could not have asked for better service within the company and their employers. Today they replaced my hot water heater which was way over due since the old one was purchased in 1997. We were so lucky to have Cliff come out and process our service on our air conditioner and then he set up for next day service for the water heater. Ruben came out today and removed the old hot water heater and set up the new hot water heater. He even pointed out things which were not connected correctly from the previous installation and made sure everything is set up exactly as it should be. These two employees are exceptional and I really appreciate their service. I will continue using Ace Air Conditioning from now on. Thanks everyone at Ace!!!!
First time using Ace, and I'm not as thrilled as everyone else. I used to work HVAC, so I know typical preventative maintenance stuff. I called and asked specifically for a price to clean my evaporator and condenser coils, clear my condensate drain line, and check my pressures. I was quoted $79 for what I had requested. Great. Tech comes out next day and is super friendly and awesome. Talked to me quite a bit about everything he was doing (I was watching to see how bad of shape my unit was in (2006 unit, and we moved in 6 months ago, so no clue on prior maintenance schedules.))
-Removed unit casing to check coil condition. -Scraped around condensate drain. I asked 3 times to have it blown out to force anything in the lines, out. Never happened. - Sprayed condenser coil from outside, in. - Was told cleaning evaporator coil was a $580 job even though I was told a cleaning was included.
I asked about cleaning condenser inside - out as I thought most companies did that to flush all debris out instead of pushing it in. Was told that was an additional charge and wasn't recommended because it may cause things to be loose, out of balance, or bend fan blades? I've done this before on my personal units and customers, without issues.
End of service comes and I'm served a $199 bill for something I was quoted $79 for.... And I verified and asked several times about service fees, transit fees, etc. I was told it would he a flat $79
$79 preventative maintenance charge and an additional "prorated" hourly rate of $120.
So, I paid $200 for half of the service I was quoted $80 to perform. Services I was more than capable of doing, and WOULD have done myself had I known it would he $200. I called the office because it was not the fault of the employee. I reached the dispatcher and requested to talk to the owner... I was told he was headed out of town and wouldn't be able to assist me until he returned, to which I replied that his business operations and troubles shouldn't be something that is an issue for him to address.
I received a call back saying they would be willing to lower my bill to $139, knocking $60 off. Great! Less is better, but it's still not the $79 I was quoted.
- I was never told that the service call was quoted at an hour block. - I was told my evaporator coil would be cleaned. - My condenser coil was not cleaned past spraying the outside of it for 5-10 minutes with water. - I was not told any time over 1 hour would be charged a shop rate of $120/hour
I had planned having an additional return air cut in, and after seeing the condition of my coils tubes, having a new unit installed, but if this company is in the business of using hidden fees to generate revenue, I can't imagine how much more expensive than the quoted price for a new unit installed would be. Because of this, I most likely will find a different company for my needs.
They replaced both of my AC units and my water heater. Excellent customer service every time. Reasonable pricing and a good warranty. They are getting my business again in the near future with more work I need for a separate building on the property. I would definitely recommend giving them a call!
I have always been very satisfied with the service I get from ACE, and they have taken care of my air conditioning and heating needs for the last eight years. They are prompt to send someone if I call, and they remind me of the six month maintenance.
