Gore showed up on very short notice and resolved our issue in about 30 minutes! A/C was not cooling, technician showed up timely and was able to fix the issue for a very reasonable price. I provided them with the appropriate age and tag number of the 2 ton Carrier AC when we spoke and he gave me a price to replace the condenser fan motor. He said he was slammed doing heater repairs but would get to me in a couple weeks. I understood that and agreed to wait. I waited for three weeks and had to reach back out to them. He finally looked at the unit then said it was too old and he wouldn’t touch it. I simply wanted them to replace the condenser fan with a universal one. A simple job I did myself in the past. After waiting 3 weeks he refused to replace it. He could have told me that in the beginning. Now I have a tenant that’s not happy. That was unprofessional and would not recommend them.
My landlord left a negative review, but I feel it was unjust so I would like to respond by saying, everything was professional and overly kind in my opinion by waving the standard service charge, simply bc his customer didn't like what he advised. Mr. Gore came a day early when he realized the LL had angry tenants (for the LL taking too long to call anyone) to be seen even though he was busy. He did not even charge a service charge when he realized he wasn't going to be able to repair a unit from the 70s that has been breaking down for the last 4 years and finally gave out. Unfortunately the LL did not like to hear that he needed to replace the unit, but the 2nd AC company said the same. A new unit around $5,000 is not what he wanted to hear, but in no way did Mr.Gore's performance falter. He actually was very kind not to charge a service charge to look at it!! Thank you, Mr.Gore, for your hard work.
