I tried to schedule service with this company and since I am a property manager, they asked me for a credit card on file, which was fine, and a W-9. I didn't understand why they wanted a W-9. I wanted to understand. A W-9 is usually requested when someone pays you, not when you pay someone. I spoke with Holly, their accountant and explained I've never heard of that and told her my experience with W-9's. When I told her I didn't understand why she needed that (and I was very polite), she became hostel and told me she had alot of problems with property managers, that she had an accounting degree and didn't need to be told what it was for. She copped an extremely bad attitude, was rude and unprofessional and I told her I didn't appreciate it. She told me, 'if I was going to be that way, they wouldn't service me' and hung on me! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I asked a simple question...that was all!

Even though it was a relatively small repair - they were prompt - same day - and did an awesome job explaining the issue and repairing it - as well as giving instructions to ensure we can prevent this from reoccurring.

This is probably the most customer friendly company I have ever seen. They showed up on a weekend call out, the prices was very reasonable. The technician took the time to fix someone else’s short comings. If I could rate them higher, I would.

Our unit wasn't cooling right and it got up to 86° in our house. They sent someone out same day (even though I called after lunch!) and they had the entire thing repaired by bedtime.

The honesty and integrity that we encountered while dealing with them, was truly unlike anything we have ever seen before with any type of home repair company (and we've been homeowners for 13+ years). When we need to upgrade our entire system these guys will be first and only folks on our list to call!

We hired McDaniel A/C and Heating to replace 2 old A/C units. They were the obvious choice out of the 5 companies we had out to give us quotes. He was honest with us, their prices were better than their competitors, and he offered to fix the flex vents for free with the install even though other companies said it would be (a lot) extra. He laid out our options clearly and answered all our questions leading up to the job. The house was built in the 80s and several vents had collapsed leaving holes where we suspected mice had been inside so we wanted to have the vents cleaned and sanitized before the install. They hooked us up with a vent cleaner, and were willing to come fix the vents a day early so the vent cleaner could do his job before the install. The next day, they sent 4 guys to get the job done quicker. They were all very professional. I was impressed with the whole experience, its not very common you find a business this considerate to their customers. I will update the review if any further contact with them is necessary for repairs or whatever else but as of now I would definitely recommend them.

McDaniel is always prompt and friendly. If they run into an issue on their end they will work to resolve it as painlessly as possible. They explain what they are looking at, what they find, etc. so that it makes sense to someone not all that familiar with the ins and outs of AC/Heating. I have most recently been working with Austin when I finally needed to just replace my system, and he has been awesome.

After the horrible snow storm this week, we lost heat to our home and really needed someone to help us. I called McDaniel Air and they were quick to answer the phone and came out the SAME DAY to repair our heater. They are super affordable and the Technician, Ross, was fantastic! Thank y'all so much for everything!

My grandmother's AC went out. They had to order a part and it came in the Friday before Memorial Day Weekend. That was also the day that she got home from the hospital. They worked with our schedule and had a tech out to fix the problem shortly after she arrived home. The tech was fast and professional and kind. I would absolutely recommend them for your AC needs!

Great service and great people. I have some rental properties that they service as well as my personal residence. I have had a few situations where one of my AC units has gone out in the middle of summer and they respond quickly and efficiently to get it up and running or replaced as quickly as possible.
