Our property management company, PMI Premier, has had the pleasure of partnering with Jim Herold and his team at 911 AC Repair for several years. He has done everything from regular HVAC preventive maintenance services to installing a large number or new systems in our residential and commercial properties. He continues to be our primary vendor for any HVAC needs and we have been extremely pleased with the service, quality of work and fair pricing we have received from 911 AC Repair. In the rare occasions that his team makes a mistake, they always come back out promptly to fix it. I should have written this review a long time ago.

We employed Jim to fix our commercial kegerator and he did an AWESOME job...fairly price and responsive. I had dealt with 2 previous companies that did not fix or follow through after repeated calls. I'd definitely use this company!

The only reason I called Jim and his company is that the HVAC was installed by them 3 years ago. The previous owner passed the info to me so I thought they might be more familiar with their work. I was wrong. They came unprepared evenI told them my AC did not blow cold air. So the freon (R410) was very low according to them. Instead of trying to figure out what went wrong, they want to charge me $300 to add freon and will come back in next trip to add some leak detection UV agent. I said wait a minute, what if the freon leak out before your next trip. I prefer they are added together. Unfortunately, They do not have any leak detection tool at hand and left. Charged me $77 for the trip. A few days later, they came back with a faulty tube of leak detection UV agent. Before they talked to me, they already added the freon. So I paid $400 for the freon and future leak detection UV agent. They left. I don't feel good about this so I called my other AC guy. He laughed. He said almost every AC guy should have a leak detection device ($1000 one). You don't need to add the UV agent. He would only add the UV agent if the detection device cannot find the leak. So I hinted this to Jim and sure enough, he came back with a brand new leak detection device( The guy who came with him also has an old one). It only took them a few minutes to confirm there was a leak in the evaporator! It has to be swapped out. So basically I paid $470 for a leak detection job. Had I hired another guy, it would be $70-$150 total or nothing if he will swap the coil for me.
I have to say that Jim is a nice guy and his price is ok but his work is not professional.

I called Jim with hopes that they could correct whatever was creating a lack of cool air in my AC unit. I am more than grateful that I did, my air is blowing better than expected. I was impressed with their ability to correct and point out all flaws that were obviously the results of the previous services and install. They found moldy tape and poorly or unsealed ducts, rigged ventilation and showed me how it should be and explained how it affects the quality of air conditioning. I won't call anyone else out for AC work and am looking forward to working with them again on a future project.
I want to say that Calverly initially installed the unit and furnace and did a terrible job. I had Milestone out to clean my vents and add insulation and still had problems. I called Calverly to come honor their warranty on my 4 year old AC unit and they were less than helpful, didn't bother to check the lines for a freon leak, instead they added 2lbs and changed the filter and left...

Jim was our saviour! Having lost our AC on a Saturday and after calling countless other companies in the area, 911 AC Repair Service came to the rescue! Jim was at our house within 30min of calling him, he answered the phone directly (experienced a lot other companies where I was put on hold, had to leave messages, wait for call backs, etc...) and had the job done quickly! I couldn't have asked for better service and will definitely recommend 911 AC Repair!

My condense pump broke on a saturday morning which called for 107F for the day. They showed up the same morning and fixed it. They made sure we were satisfied before they left. They were Affordable, knowledgeable and their service was great.

If I could, I would give the the owner Jim zero star. Do not believe a word of this guy! He did not honor the price he and I agreed upon. He'll hang you there unless you paid more to satisfy his greedy.
