They showed up surprisingly quick for my service call. The technician was very knowledgeable, polite, and friendly. He fixed my issue and explained it to me in a way that I could understand. Pricing was reasonable. I will definitely use them again.

Terrible Customer service. Office manager (Cindy) is extremely rude. Do not call them if you want a repair.
We have a home warranty company who tried to work with them, but had a very difficult time getting Cindy to send our info back to the warranty company. At one point B&D sent the wrong information to the warranty company which delayed the process by 3 or 4 days and her response to me was something like - We already apologized - (that was the first and only time she apologized for anything).
On the other hand, Jason, the technician, was super helpful, showed up on time and answered all of my questions and did what he could to make the process quicker.
Over a month later, our air still doesn't work so the warranty company is getting another service company to fix the AC.

I have American Home Sheild, I have had an ac repair man to my house 3 times with no Sucess! I finally ask to have a different vendor sent out, they send B and D, Tony the tech that came out was awesome. He quickly diagnosed the issue that he said should have been the very 1st part replaced by the other company not only he replaced it but also seen that the fan the other company installed was wired wrong and that fan was going bad. He made all the right repairs and my ac is working great! This company is great and I would recommend them to anyone I know

Starting from the office staff, which are professional and helpful to the repair techs. In fact I have requested B and D through my warranty company and have been very satisfied.

Our AC was not working when we turned it on for the first time this season. We were paired up with D&B through AHS and were a little weary since reviews I could find are not great. They came out within 24 hours, located the issue, the technician was knowledgeble, professional, and kind, and they fixed it same day. The AC is now working great and I am confident they will serve us well in the future. đź‘Ťđź‘Ť

Inept is to nice a word for this company. Not only did they not show up for the first appointment we made but they were late for the second with absolutely no apologies. Didn't listen to a word I said about what was wrong only talked over me the entire time. Two visits later they not only didn't fix the problem they have made it worse. Now have made a third appointment with a different company in hopes 3 weeks of no ac in South Carolina is enough. Stay away from these folks

Stay away from this horrible and dishonest company. I waited on this company for 3 weeks with broken A/C in the summer heat before calling someone else who fixed the problem in less than 48 hours. The office secretary has no problem lying directly to you. This company clearly has no regard for their customers: terrible customer treatment, they stop answering phones at 4:30, and don’t offer afterhours or emergency service. There are plenty of other reputable heating and cooling companies in Charleston, call someone else and avoid this one.

It’s difficult to know where to begin with these guys and not come off sounding “too bad to be true”, but I will try. As a member of American Home Shield I am FORCED to use these guys, even after they came back on 4 occasions they still could not fix what took another company 10 minutes to diagnose and repair.
On the last of the 4 “no-service calls”, I requested a new technician but they sent the same useless guy over and as predicted, he failed to fix the problem, but I still had to pay the $70 fee for the 4th time.
The receptionist is rude, they don’t really their customers and my experience suggests a strong lack of understanding of HVAC. I would highly recommend NOT using this company and don’t sign up for American Home Shield or you won’t have a choice!

We knew that our AC needed to be replaced when we bought our house. It worked at the moment and we did what we could to get by until it was time to replace the unit. In August our AC unit started leaking and our ceiling fell through. We called over 5 Heating and Air companies to come out and give us quotes. We went with Brad and his team. Brad came out and listened to everything that I wanted after getting all my quotes. I told him that everyone gave advice on what would make my new unit work for my home. I took all that and told Brad what I wanted. He put together a quote with everything in it. Once I received the quote and accepted it he was able to get his team out that week to get the work done. I'm so happy I went with B&D Heating and Air. Brad was very personable when he came out. He not only came out and looked over my home for the initial visit he was out both days while his team installed the unit and new duct work. He listened to what I wanted and didn't try to talk me out of it. When I asked for all new equipment he didn't try to talk me out of it. He said yes mam we can do that. He team was very professional and on time each day. They cleaned up all the old duct and equipment. After the installation Brad came back out and spoke to me to make sure I was happy with the work and how everything was going with the unit. I would highly recommend him and his team.
