Our A/C went out on the holiday! Concerned with the cost, we made the call anyway. John promptly called back, let us know he’d be there in 10 minutes. He came in, set the expectation, and solved our issue in less than 20 minutes. He also checked and replaced our filter!! He was professional, prompt, knowledgeable, service oriented and friendly!! I will only call Bethke, and I’m asking for John specifically from now on!!! Thank you John
I recently had Bethke install a new AC and replace my old furnace. I am very impressed with their work and very happy with the results, especially with this heat wave we are having.
I called at 8AM regarding my A/C not running and John arrived by 10AM the same day and got the wiring fixed up along with a full tune up to get it running again before lunch! He was friendly and great to have help get the system going again. Great value & service!

We have used Bethke for several years and have been extremely pleased with every aspect of this company. They installed a new furnace and heat pump in our house this week and as usual did a great job!!

Jason cook and his team work really hard to solve heating situations we have to deal with steam or water systems they can be tricky at times and they really put their heads together to get situations solved. I'm very happy with them and would recommend them to anyone. Thanks for stopping by today John he stopped at my house today what a good feeling to have you again 🙏
John came out and spent a couple hours tearing apart my 1963 boiler, cleaned it thoroughly and reassembled it. All the while helping me better understand how it fit together and worked. Also gave me great advice on maintaining it and avoiding additional expense. In the past, the other companies who came out just basically vacuumed out the boiler, and charged significantly more for less service. I'll will have Bethke come out and perform preventative maintenance on an identical boiler I have next door. All my HVAC business will be going to Bethke from now on. Great service at a reasonable price!!
I’d just like to give Bethke Heatinig and Jason a big 5 star review. Bethke installed my old system - both AC and furnace 20 plus years ago, and they were excellent. And recently I have worked with Jason (the owner of Bethke) to put in a new heat pump system. Jason spent hours with me designing the system, explaining the ins and outs of various heat pumps. It is now in and up and running well. Personal, professional service and flawless products. Very satisfied.
Furnace went out on December 18 when the temp was to drop to the single digits. Called. Bethke and the answering service had a tech call me back in 30 mins. Had me turn the system off to reset. It worked but then failed again in a few hours. Called Bethke back and they dispatched JOHN. John showed up within 90 mins, replaced a part and the furnace is working!! John was GREAT! Would definitely recommend Bethke.
Our 32 year old steam heat boiler needed to be replaced, along with all the main pipes it was connected to. All stages of the process - from estimate to removal and install to one month out check-up - were handled very professionally. Fair pricing and clear communications, too. They’re one of the few firms that do steam boilers in southern WI, too, we discovered. We highly recommend BETHKE.
Furnace gave up on a Saturday night. John was out one hour after I called for help. He ordered a heat exchanger that night. One part wasn't being shipped after several days, and there was no ETA given by the source. A short term fix was then discussed and dismissed. New furnace to the rescue! Details described as I was on my way out the door to go to the hospital to have surgery. Joe and Mark had it installed in our absence the next day. We returned later that day to the comfort of a warm home. Thx Bethke!
Excellent experience from start to finish. Even though the install wasn't as simple as expected, the final price was same as quoted. That was an unexpected and pleasant surprise. Couldn't be happier with the service we received.
Woke up to a very cold house, but I wasn't worried. I have had a service plan with Bethke for several years. Less than 20 minutes after I left a message with the answering service, John was at my house. He remembered me from an earlier visit, when he replaced a faulty Nest thermostat, and promptly diagnosed the issue. John is always friendly and professional, as are all of the other Bethke employees I've interacted with. THANK YOU!
Jason and the Bethke team were fantastic! Our furnace broke down at the beginning of winter. Jason's team helped repair it in the short term to keep us comfortable until they could do the replacement several weeks later. The technicians who installed the furnace were super helpful and answered all our questions. Highly recommend!
I’ve used Bethke for service on my furnace and AC for about 10 years and had them install a new Armstrong furnace and AC for me 8 years ago. Good experience with their office and HVAC techs for service and installation. Quick to pick up the phone and quick to come out for after hours service when you have a problem.
I saw another reviewer had the same problem with scheduling. I called to have an estimator come out and price out a new furnace and AC, I was a bit annoyed that it would take a week and a half for someone to come out, competitors were able to come out within a few days. On the day of the appointment I didn't get a text or phone confirmation that someone was coming out so I called Bethke to confirm someone would be here. Well, they said they had no record of me calling and it would take another week to get someone out. Nope, if you can't even enter an appointment in your scheduling software I'm not going to trust you with a new HVAC system. -- In response, yes you have the right person. When I called, I don't remember the exact date but it was around Sept 26-28 for an appointment 10/7 at 12:00. The only reason I called Bethke is that my parents have used Bethke for years without any problems, but this is the third time I've called them over the past 10 and haven't been impressed. Once was for servicing a small HVAC system in my commercial space, the other if I remember correctly, was to get a quote on a AprilAire humidifier for my home. For the commercial space they didn't seem interested in the job, and the AprilAire system they weren't competitive in the quote. Three chances are plenty of opportunities to get your foot in the door and earn my business.
We have always used Bethke for our home heating and air and been very happy with their services every time. When there was an issue with the thermostat unit they came and replaced it at no charge. Then when we needed a heating unit installed in our new Cleary building, Bethke was responsive and informative in helping us decide which option would work best for the space. We ended up going with a ductless system. Always great communication from Bethke, which we really appreciate. Thanks guys!
Bethke installed a great AC unit for us. Their bid came in below others and they took care of more for us. All was done at such a high level and communication was great all the way through. They were a pleasure to work with.
AC stopped working. I called and they sent someone out the next day. Mike was great with diagnosing and walking through my options. Very pleasant to deal with and professional.
