We had central air conditioning installed in our 112+ year old home that has an existing boiler system. The team did an exceptional job doing the installation and made it fit in like it was always here. The price was reasonable and the system works better then expected. I highly recommend Jon and team.
Early May 90 degree weather put our A/C to the test and our A/C received an F! Our home warranty company thankfully sent out Muchow & South Central as the authorized repair contractor. Could not appreciate them more! Had two options based on the home warranty policy: 1) Replace the unit and absorb about a $3000 bill after the home warranty company paid their portion or 2) Pay $79 and have it serviced/inspected. Financially it would be a no brainer to spend $2900+ less, but the unit is pushing 20 years old. Matthew, the tech, was straight with me and said that even with the age of the unit, it has plenty of life left in it. Could probably easily convinced me it was on its last leg and should be replaced given its age, but he didn’t! He felt servicing it would work and it would get us plenty more years! Great service, good people, and saved me a ton of money! That’s very appreciated!

Had a couple other places attempt to repair my furnace. Should've started with Muchow's. It was a cheap and easy fix that they took care of immediately. Highly recommend!
They came next day to look at my furnace but refused to order a part to fix it just wanted to replace it for 4000.00. And worker was rude about it. Thank you Muchow and South Central heating for the follow up call and taking the time to correct the actions. I appreciate your time.

I called on a Friday morning as my AC quit working. They showed up in the time frame as promised and were courteous and reasonably priced. They were helpful and thorough.
I bought a 45-year-old house that only had electric baseboard heat and a window unit for cooling. I called Muchow & South Central Heating and Cooling for a quote to supply and install a high-efficiency mini-split heat pump system. Jon came out in a timely fashion and we discussed lots of options. I had my proposal within a day. It was not the only quote that I sought but the response, price, and install date were exceptional. Paul and Steve arrived on time with almost everything needed for a complete install. Some line cover fittings were here soon after. It was hot the day the system was installed but the complete system consisting of 2 outdoor units and 4 indoor units was completed in a very timely manner. We did have one minor issue after the unit ran for a day but within 2 hours, after a phone call, Matt was here, found the problem and it was repaired. I am now “chilling” in a nice cool house with a high-efficiency cooling system that does an incredible cooling job and is super quiet. I am a very happy customer and would recommend Muchow & South Central Heating and Cooling for all my cooling needs. They are punctual, courteous, and professional.
We knew we needed a new AC unit at our condo, and a few neighbors were going with Muchow. Matt arrived early, and looked at the old AC unit and how it would interface with existing furnace. He discovered that the furnace was the original unit (1988), and we had spent over $500.00 in the last two years replacing aging parts. We discussed the pros and cons of replacing it, and he agreed to give us two quotes (one with just the AC, and one with both AC and furnace). We also discussed a new thermostat, and decided on the WiFi version. Muchow offers free financing for a year. Matt also offered us a group discount, and another discount for the work Muchow had performed this past year. They installed everything a week later, and Matt even stopped in to help us sync our phones with the new thermostat. We think this company is expanding because they are honest, fairly priced, offer 24 hour service if needed, are efficient, and clean up after themselves. They appear to take pride in their work, and stay in communication. It can be a difficult decision when hiring a contractor, and Muchow puts your mind at ease. Muchow and South Central HVAC just installed a Mitsubishi mini-split system in our home. It's May and the weather can change - last weekend it was 81 degrees so we ran the AC just to see how it worked and it was wonderful. On the following Wednesday, it was a bit chillier, so we used it for heat and, again, it was wonderful. Everyone we worked with - TJ, Paul, Stevie, Matt, and Travis - were very professional. On day 2 of the installation we asked them to make a major change and they worked so well with us. I texted TJ at 1:30 AM and asked him if they might be able to make the change. TJ replied at 5:30 AM and said he would look to see what they could do. When Paul and Stevie arrived that morning they were ready to work with us and they made it happen. Later that day, TJ texted to make sure everything was okay. Matt and Travis then followed up with the fine tuning of the system and taught us how to run it. We are very impressed with their services - they know what they are doing, and we will continue to have them maintain our HVAC.

TJ from Muchow HVAC is fantastic to work with. Gives you answers, bids, and solutions to problems straight-up with no gimmicks. They were able to remove all the old ductwork in my house, move the furnace, attach the furnace, and install new ductwork in 3 days. They do a fantastic job.
