Our furnace stopped working so we called a few places for estimates. Everyone was about the same price, but Paul made it a priority to help us quickly.
Called late on a Saturday afternoon. They said they had to charge time and a half. FINE! He came to my home and said " he didn't have the part on his truck". He was the owner, and his shop is five blocks away on the the SAME STREET! He asked if he could come back on Monday. MAGICALLY they had "the part" before 7:30 Monday morning! The OAF they sent changed the part in five minutes and billed me for ANOTHER service call charge for $105.50! Total bill was $263.75 for a part that was UNDER WARRANTY! So &158.75 to NOT fix it and $105.50 for 5 minutes to replace a warrantied part! STAY AWAY!!!!
$90 an hour for labor! I think that explains it all.
