Midwest Heating and Air Conditioning did an excellent job of repairing our ac. Will definitely call them again if we need help.
A/C went out on 90 degree Saturday! Jason was out at my house(in the middle of nowhere) in about an hour and had my AC running about a half hour later! Super helpful! Super informative! Looked at my aging furnace while he was here and is going to get me a quote for that! Amazing experience! Good guy, good company! I think you can trust these folks and I would recommend them to anyone freezing in the winter or cooking in the summer!
Jason was very professional and upfront about explaining our problem. We had an issue with our system where it was installed improperly many years ago by another person, making the maintenance on it impossible. Jason left that appointment to finish his day and had the kindness to call us back after his day ended and suggest an out of the box solution to our problem, that saved us thousands as we were not ready to purchase a new system at the time. I highly recommend them to do work on any hvac issues you may have.
We were treated so well by Jaylen and Jason. They were informative and professional. They respected our home by wearing booties, picking up after themselves, and really explaining everything. We will be customers going forward. Thank you!

I noticed that my AC wasn’t cooling as well as it should. As soon as I noticed an issue with the coil fan I got ahold of Midwest and had a tech show up the same day to take a look. The problem was diagnosed and repaired in an efficient and effective manner. I am more than satisfied with the responsiveness and quality of service.

I came home from work to discover that my furnace had quit working. Tomorrow is a bad snow and ice storm and I was not sure what to do. I called Midwest and spoke with Jason. He was very professional and talked me through a bunch of simple things it could be. Turned out the induction motor was bad and he had one in stock. He sent out a tech who was also very professional and got it done in a quick manner. Would highly recommend and will be going through them in the future.
Our furnace shut off when it was 10 out with a newborn and other kids in the home. Not only did they answer the phone promptly at 10pm on a Friday night, they talked us through some possible solutions. Unfortunately, none worked and he came out immediately and got it fixed quickly! Will use him again!

Highly recommend this company, showed up in about an hour on a snow day and at 6:30 in the morning! Fixed my issue in about an hour and got my heat back up and going. Professional and friendly, explained everything to me and came prepared with the necessary parts the first trip (that hardly ever happens). Feels great meeting a good local company like this and supporting the folks in our town by using their excellent services. I’m sticking with these guys.
Nobody wants to lose heat in the middle of a Wisconsin winter but Midwest went above and beyond for me. Thoroughly impressed with how they made sure they put everything into layman terms for me and I was on same page. Even though my furnace needed several parts, the turnaround was fast and these guys were right on it. Highly recommend!

We trusted them, shame on us. After replacing our AC unit in the Fall (our old unit broke and Jason said that it couldn't be fixed - and it was still really hot outside). So we bought a new TRANE AC unit from Midwest Heating & Air, then we payed extra for a Springtime AC check - which never happened. Then the blower went out just before Summer. Midwest H&A had supply chain issues getting the part (totally understandable and not their fault) but then ghosted me for TWO WEEKS during some very hot weeks in June/July... wouldn't respond to texts, wouldn't respond to calls... and missed every time commitment. The blower repair was $1,000 - I don't know if that's reasonable or not. Then the city replaced our natural gas line (while replacing our road) and Jason came out to connect our natural gas line to a new line that the city ran and then he told me to get the gas pressure from Alliant and that was the last I heard from him. He also proposed many expensive add-ons, the quote ($1,000) was almost double what we ended up paying to Upmann ($560), and then they ghosted me again. Unbelievably poor service. I'm worried that I was horribly overcharged, never received my AC check, and just feel awful about the whole exchange with this company. We will never hire Midwest again. We went with Upmann Heating and Cooling instead and they were WONDERFUL to work with! Upmann was professional and courteous, arrived at the time they said they would, responded to texts and calls, interacted with Alliant on our behalf, were very clear on what they were doing, completed the work quickly and charged us fairly. SUCH a different experience. I WISH we'd have known about Upmann earlier!
