This business spends more time on automatic phone answering and should spend more time answering the phone directly. I called at 10am and it's 315pm with no returned call

The installers of my Amana AC came right on time and made the installation very professionally. They cleaned up everything and were very courteous. Also showed me how to use the thermostat to control the temperature. I have used Arch to check my furnace every year and find that satisfactory, too.

Arch H&C was sent to install a recall par a month ago. I left a good review after the installer left but needed him to come back 2 weeks later as I had no heat. When you call the company they do not return your call until the next day. Finally the repairman came back out and said that there was a short in the wires and he fixed it. A week later I was out of heat and being ghosted by Arch. Called my H&C guy who came right out and found the wires alk loose. As soon as he tightend them the furnace came right on. I DO NOT RECOMEND. UPDATE Never contacted me. Got Olin Oil H&C see their review by me.

Don't use this company they will lie about the price and ultimately charge $800 for looking at your furnace

Tl;dr: this company almost never answered or returned phone calls causing me to be without hot water for nearly three weeks. Then charged me an extra $100 and get different reasons why from different people. So my hot water heater stopped working one day so I contacted my home warranty company and they said I'd be getting a call in a day from this company. They never called so it told me to call instead. After the 4th call to them they had responded one time and I missed it due to being at work. I ended up getting a service to inspect my tank the next day. Great, they come and tell me they need a part and that it'll be about a week. A week passes and I've heard nothing so I call them about 6-8 times over 2 days with no response and even though they're supposed to be open to 4:30 they seem to leave at 4 as they go straight to voicemail. I then email and get a response the next day saying they're getting a whole tank instead of just a part and it isn't in yet and they haven't received tracking. So I contact my warranty company and they say they DID share the information with the company and it'll be delivered Monday. I inform Arch on Friday morning. They reach back out Monday the next week to tell me they still don't have the info and can't schedule but someone else will contact me. The same person then contacts me a day later telling me it's been received and the service team will contact me in 24 hours. No one contacts me so I contact them and the same person then contacts me ANOTHER DAY LATER to schedule instead of the supposed service team. I finally get a date to install at the end of the week then they tell me they lost the water heater. Then they send an email saying they found it and I'm still good to go. Finally I get my tank 2 weeks and 4 days later and then they CHARGE ME FOR A MODIFICATION THAT ISNT PERFORMED. Very unprofessional, terrible and responding, doesn't seem to have team coordination and then charged me extra.

Buyer be ware of this company. If your a insurance job your playing with a nightmare of a company. Here’s the most serious issue we had. They were hired by home shield to repair our water heater. They came out turned water heater up and called it good. I left and returned 3 hours later to find a flooded basement. The water heater wouldn’t stop heating to the point of blowing the pressure valve. 3weeks later we find out the water heater could blow up with that kind of problem. They made our house un safe by not letting us know how dangerous this can be. I called 2 plumbers 3 weeks after there one and only visit to find this out. Correct after 3 weeks no water heater. Excuse home shield has gave us is parts on order. Lindsey at arch was asked and told homeshield she was calling us to make arrangement for install. That call never came. I called a plumber off Angie list and will get a new water heater in 2 days. This company is the worst and most dis honest company I have ever worked with. To date I have not heard a word from them. If your a cash job willing to pay high dollars you might be ok. If your warranty work or insurance work your just a waste of there time.

Arch was sent out via my Home Warranty company. Lindsey was very friendly and 2 gentlemen were dispatched out. I’m not completely unhappy with this company but I have a few things that I have issues with. They came to repair two (2) toilets, leaky garbage disposal, and replace the Water Heater. They didn’t repair/replace anything the first trip and said they would need the supplies. They came back a week or two later. They broke the handle to my front storm door and I mentioned it to them before their departure. They stated they didn’t break it but would try to repair it before they left to no avail. I was told by the technician to call them directly and talk to Lindsey if anything went wrong within the next 30 days. I called on the 25th day to let them know my garbage disposal was still leaking and actually much worse than it was previously. In order to correct the garbage disposal, the first time they changed out the pipe. I called 3 more times before my call was returned 10 days later. I was told since the pipe didn’t correct the issue I would need a new garbage disposal and I needed to call my Home Warranty company because they needed to open the work order back up. I explained that my garbage disposal was fairly new (less than 2 years). Arch said if the Home Warranty work order wasn’t reopened they would have to charge me the homeowner for the repairs as well as the trip charge. I immediately called my Home Warranty company but since it was now outside of the 30 days they would have to open up a whole new service request and charge me an additional service fee. I explained that I called the contractor on the 25th and 27th day but they hadn’t returned my call until now. After quite a long time of convincing and a day going by they finally agreed to open up a new service request for me at no charge. They sent a different contractor out the next day. The new contractor replaced the same piping as the previous contractor. He also stated that nothi

The entire process from estimating to completion was painless and smooth. I was not pressured to make a decision on which company that quoted me to use. Questions were answered prior to my decision making. Installation was on time and completed on schedule. It was a clean install, both furnace and AC unit outdoors. Crew was professional, and rerouted ducting to give me more headroom. Crew also removed an old not used gas line that once was used for a gas fireplace. Top notch.

Sam and Darby were very professional and friendly! Fast, courteous installation of furnace, a/c and water heater! This is our 2nd furnace from Arch, the old one was 24 yrs old. It still worked, but it was time. Strongly recommend Arch Heating & Cooling, Sam and Darby!

I had a scheduled appointment between 1-3 got a call at 2:55 saying they were running late and they would be there in 30-45 min. I canceled the service and called someone else and they just happened to be available and will be here even before Arch could have been. They apparently don't care about a customers time so I don't see them being reliable for anything else. Had they called by 2 that would have been fine but to let me sit around and wait is rude. #2 I totally understand if a job takes longer than expected but with phones in your pockets all it takes is less than a minute to let someone know your running late. Unfortunately that excuse does not work anymore.
