Had a broken toilet bacon swapped out for me the same day
Overpriced service by unprofessional senior employees. Refused to give an Itemized statement so I could get reimbursed for the work from the insurance company. Charged 3k to repair a half inch cracked pipe amd 468 for 15 minutes of work to put in a 12 dollar pipe.
I recently had a liner installed in a 25 ft section of old sewer piping that was broken up from roots. Will was very thorough and professional. He explained everything clearly and finished the job quickly.
We had an emergency with a leak and Jesus and Liam were quick and responsive as I was not home, and kept me in the loop of everything that was happening. Love to find responsible, military friendly, and customer oriented companies like this one! I will definitely be calling them again.
Ned & Alex saved the day. I used to use Hunt's Services but this time my project was not high enough property to get a set time on their schedule so I called Beacon. Beacon got me a set time on the schedule for the following day and completed my project the day after that. The week after that in the middle of a bathroom remodel I required a whole house repipe, tankless water heater and whole house water filtration system, etc I called Beacon. I requested Ned & Alex and that is exactly who I got. When I used to use Hunt's Services they never sent the techs I requested. I wish I could find the words to fully express how happy I am with Beacon. Ned & Alex are the best and thanks to them along with the great people at the call center I am now a loyal Beacon customer.
After getting the runaround by another company that promised quick service, Dean saved us! He repaired the piping related to the hot water heater and circulation pump after it sprung a leak in the morning. Now our hot water is back and it is glorious!
We had the pipe to our outdoor water faucet break which caused us to turn water off to the whole house. We called Beacon and Dean was at our house at 9:00 the next morning...for a 9:00-noon service window! Our access is awful but he was so pleasant and courteous. He took care of the problem right away and got us a bid for a follow-up problem we needed to have fixed. We will definitely use Beacon again, would recommend them to anyone who needs a referral and will always hope to get Dean assigned to our call!
I'm in the middle of updating my house, bathroom and kitchen. I had the counters and sink replaced and needed a plumber to hook up the plumbing, faucet and disposal. I called Beacon. They will not give you any indication of price on the phone. Instead they have a $75 charge for sending someone out. This charge is NOT applied if you hire them. It's separate. Again I asked for ballpark figure on the phone and was just told that they're am honest company with fair pricing. Well, not really. $1700 to install my disposal and faucet. This is almost triple the price I was quoted from another reputable company but they had no availability yesterday. I really needed it done so I got bent over. The guy they sent out, Dean, was very nice and I think he did a fine job. However, sink and the work area were left messy. Go with this company only if no one else is available but be prepared to be gouged on price. I guess it's expensive to have the Seahawks in your commercials. Overall feel ripped off.
Thank you for sending Travis out on Mother's Day weekend to replace my water heater that finally rusted out and flooded my garage. I was planning to eventually replace with a tankless unit but I guess the universe wants me to do it sooner than I planned. Initially I had sticker shock at the cost for the unit and install but figured that was the price to pay for such a quick response time. However, after seeing the very clean custom rough in he did with plumbing, gas and vent lines and then having the whole house take showers, run a load of laundry and dishes at the same time, it seems much more appropriate. For the sake of transparency in the review, I do know i could have found a better price but I would still have a flooded garage and no hot water and i don't think i would have the same quality of work. I don't know if people generally appreciate the rough-in work, but I sell Real Estate and have for many years, including assisting the Fannie Mae REO asset manager with scopes, bids and repairs and I am more than comfortable with the price based on the quality of work, warranties, professionalism and timeliness. i have seen some total train wrecks over the years and as with most contractor jobs you get what you pay for. PS, Travis is an asset. What a super great tech! He explained everything, was upfront with pricing and timelines and what he delivered exceeded my expectations. Hold on to that guy!!
Eric and Cory were dispatched to our house to repair a cPVC line which was inadvertently snapped by another company. Our water needed to be shut off while we waited and they did not have us waiting long. The guys called to give us notice they were arriving in 30 minutes and were on site for about 30 minutes. Extremely professional and friendly, they made sure everything was working perfectly before leaving. I highly recommend Beacon Plumbing!
Beacon is blessed to employ experts like Troy and Mike who saved the day, responded within minutes to our emergency, handled the situation with confident professionalism & integrity handling all involved in a chaotic situation, and had eveything in order and under control for all parties involved. I have nothing but respect and admiration for these two young men - does my heart good to see such excellence in service still exists.
Jesus and Liam were super helpful in capping my gas line. I also appreciate that they were able to come out the very next day. Easy, quick job and I guess they did it safely. BUT BUT BUT The flat fee sucks for an easy, straight-forward issue like mine. $300 bucks for 15 min job feels like a rip off. They charge you $75 bucks to come out and look. So it ends up feeling like you're trapped Apprentice did the critical part and I'm not even sure it was double-checked. Plus customers should know that techs encourage positive reviews with promise of a discount. That's why you see a common format to many reviews, like mentioning tech names. I eventually got ahold of the owner to complain about the high price and misleading tactics, guys was super defensive, going on and on about their costs. Also, totally denied that techs offer a discount for a review. Eventually he calmed down and promised to look into my bill. NEVER HEARD A THING. Whatever! Avoid if you can.
The employees Dean and McCoy came during the expected window of time, quickly assessed the situation and let me know of possible complications which might occur because of the age of my fixture. The complications did not occur and he patiently showed me how things were and encouraged me to look closely at the finished job.
I called Beacon Plumbing this morning after taking a very cold shower! Will and Alex came out within an hour. They took a look at my water heater, explained the options and gave me a bid. They were professional, friendly and efficient. I will call you guys the next time I need something! Thank you!
Sean R (plumbing technician)was phenomenal, professional , knowledgeable and had great service with changing a water link pipe line and then hooking it up to a bidet which was leaking badly before he showed up. On top of all that he was punctual and efficient. Would definitely recommend him and stick with Sean R for any future plumbing needs. Thank you so much!!
Didn't get the new i wanted but the person who came out was nothing but helpful and has been nothing but 100% in getting our water system fixed
My sister lost power from her main electrical box. Called Beacon, they said whoever put it in originally 2 years ago did it all wrong and it would cost well over $24,000.00 to fix it all. $24,000. They shut off her stove, hot water and gas heat. She called for another estimate. A different company came and turned her hot water back on and her stove, after several days w/o. Long story short, the box was inspected and was NOT the issue and did NOT need to be replaced. Her entire fix will be about $800.00 for a new fan in her furnace. Good job Beacon, U just lost a faithful customer. No wonder you can afford all the air time, by taking advantage of people. Could you be any more dishonest?
Ben and Josh were great. They knew the problem as soon as I described the issue, how to fix it and they didn't mess around with trying to say it was more than what it was. They were on time for the appointment and the comedy routine was great.
Stay away! I'm accusing this company of price gouging and leading their client to the sunk-cost fallacy . The heating system stopped functioning; I called six plumbing companies with the system information, model number, and Error code on the system (E 28). Price range from $75 to $350 for a diagnostic. I chose Beacon plumbing because of their ability to get over fast, costing $75. When there two agents show up at the door, the price change to $469. Twenty minutes after looking through the boiler manual and the system, their agent concluded we needed a new blower; the total cost for his estimate for this day plus tax came to $622!! ($ 75 was to show up fee, $469 to estimate, plus tax ). Not to worry because this cost is part of the total repair and their future service to replace the blower if I choose to go with their company to do so at the expense of 4 thousand. Ladies and gentlemen, this entire system cost close to 4 thousand, and the new blower cost $500. That's an 800% markup!! It felt like an in-house high-speed rubbery, I let these two men in the house alone, and now they would not leave until I paid up; I felt forced to pay them. If you want to get a trip to the cleaner, call this company!!
We had water backing up into our sink and were able to do minimum troubleshooting to understand that we wouldn’t be able to fix it ourselves. We were able to contact Beacon Plumbing and they were friendly and quick to ensure us they could send someone out right away same day (on the weekend) Jimmy arrived a bit later and was incredible. He quickly assessed the situation and knew exactly how to fix it. He was super friendly, explained the situation to us, and got things wrapped up quickly for us. Would absolutely call them again, especially Jimmy, to help with all our plumbing needs.
