As a Real Estate Agent in the Spokane and surrounding areas, it is imperative you have a good HVAC company to work with. Double R Heating & Air Conditioning LLC provided exceptional service for my own home. They were able to come out within 24 hours and their technician, Robert, was very knowledgable and efficient when it came to maintenance on my furnace. Their prices are very comparable and Robert was right on time. I will definitely be recommending them to my clients.

RR installed a replacement water heater for us on Tuesday, January 12, 2021. Not only were they the low bid, their service was outstanding. For several days, they tried to find a vendor who had a energy star tank to install from one of their wholesalers, so we wouldn’t have to pay retail for a tank. No one had one. Failing that, they found a non-energy star tank that appeared to have the same UEF rating & was eligible for a rebate from our power company. On the day of service, they came out promptly when they said they would be here, finished an hour earlier than they said it would take, and did a flawless job of replacing the tank. No water to clean up, no mess, perfect. Several days later, when it became apparent that the power company did not believe the tank was eligible for energy star rebates, they made good the rebate because they were the ones that supplied the information we acted on. This was before I said anything about rating them on Google. This company is reputable. I trust them for any future work they bid on.
Double R came out to both look at our furnace and provide a bid for AC. Our furnace, it turns out, is too powerful for our ducts and was causing problems. George from Double R is the first person to discover this, even after several others had looked at it. George has been professional, smart, thorough, and honest. Their bid to fix our situation and provide an AC wasn't the most expensive bid, but it also wasn't the cheapest. We chose Double R over a less expensive company because of their knowledge and professionalism. I trusted George when I felt like I couldn't trust some of the others who came out and took a look. They're a family business and have been doing this for decades. You can trust these guys!
Not only were the office people kind, understanding, and informative on the phone, they really took the time to answer all my questions and get all the information. They were prompt in calling me back, setting up an appointment in a more than reasonable timeline (better than the other companies I called). Their field tech was knowledgeable, on-time, polite, and knew what he was doing. He explained everything he was doing and why. He offered tips and tricks for doing self maintenance and did not force additional business on me. I would highly recommend this company to everyone! Customer service that couldn't be beat! Reasonable priced! Informative and caring. I will be using them to service my AC!

Our late New Year's Eve return from a holiday trip to the comforts of home was not meant to be. Snow had fallen in our absence and drifted-in our long uphill gravel driveway leaving it impassable. Parking at the road we hefted what we could manage and set out into the darkness, cold and knee-deep snow. Arriving inside we discovered the temperature to be only slightly less chilled than out. Our misfortune took a change for the warmer when I called Double R. Understanding our chilly situation George made time to come out that same day. It took a couple of visits to completely diagnose the problems but identify and effect repairs he did. Pricing was upfront and fair, and he showed up when he said he would. For boiler issues in Double R we trust.

Fantastic! They want to be sure your job is done right and work well if your services are under a home warranty. Love Double R heating and AC. Would highly recommend them if you need services. Their tech found an issue other companies had overlooked and fixed it quickly.
I cannot believe how kind and professional they were with us. We couldn't afford a overhaul on a old unit at first, so they worked with us to see what was necessary to get it running. After much thinking on our part we decided to go with an upgrade. They worked on getting the price down for a better system. We are very happy with the service we received and the patience they gave us and explained everything.

I called with an Emergency and they responded within 2 hours. Other companies that I called wanted an exorbitant amount just to set an appointment. I have worked with them on a few projects now. Very good people.
