Technician was wonderful. Kept us informed as he worked. Very capable and personable
Nick and Gram were amazing installers! They answered all my questions, worked quickly, and showed wonderful professionalism. They were even extra careful to protect our carpet while walking in and out of the house. I would definitely recommend them to anyone!
i've been a Blue Flame customer for about 12 years. they're always very professional very polite very competent and on time. whenever there have been issues they have worked hard to take care of them and make me happy. I wouldn't use anybody else.
There is miscommunication with warranties and fees. They promise a 2 year warranty would cover including labor. Then the maintenance person came and said we have to pay over $100 for inspection and labor. I HATE THEM
Do not believe the negative reviews about them. They gave me the correct diagnostic and fixed the issue the same day and honored the relationship with the brand warranty. Where as another hvac company in the northend tried to get over on me. these guys where honest and knowledgeable . Cesar Vazquez got straight to it and fixed it right the first time. Thanks blueflame my kids and I are grateful for the knowledge and customer service displayed today !
Extremely unsafe and rude. One of their drivers cut me off on I-5. I had to slam my brakes to avoid being hit/side swiped. They thought it was funny. This says everything about their character/ethics.
Well after five years on the second installation after receiving the incorrect system we now have a blower mower. failure on our Rheem system. We had to have a ream specialist come out and have the motor replaced. They found while replacing the motor that a sealant for the hood over the top of it that was used on the install drip onto the blower fan which made it out of balance which took out the motor after five years. Not happy customer. Nor will I ever be a customer of theirs again. Now another issue. 6/21/2023 We noticed that we were not getting any heating or cooling out of the register that they installed in our primary bathroom today. It looks to have come apart. In picture number three there is nothing attached to the duck tub. I see is the black plastic under the house.
June 2023: Tim, the GM, came out with his head tech to take a look. They assessed that the furnace they installed was indeed not properly sized for my house and offered to replace it with an appropriately sized one at no charge, which they did within a week. I’m impressed at the extent which they went to remediate this. May 2023 update: Blue Flame responded to my original review saying to contact their quality assurance manager. I did and after a couple texts confirming my details, I was told I will hear from management in a few days. It’s been a month and I haven’t heard back. Original review: I have nothing but good things to say about their *service* department (prompt, responsive, professional, patient), but their *install/sales* department should be avoided at all costs. I had my furnace replaced by Blue Flame which led to year-long issues with my heating with ultimately no resolution. This happened over a span of two years to 6 months ago and I'm only writing this review now because I just got a different HVAC company which immediately identified the issue as an install problem by Blue Flame. In short, here were the issues I faced: 1. Salesperson did not properly size the furnace, installing a unit that's too powerful for my ductwork. This caused the furnace to keep tripping when it comes on. Thinking back on the discussion with the salesperson, he seemed to be trying to close the deal by selling me a higher BTU furnace for the same price as a lower BTU unit without explaining the drawbacks. He also did not measure/inspect my ductwork or measure airflow. 2. Salesperson seemed to just want to close the deal quickly and promised various things that were not delivered (eg. 12 MERV 13 filters but only 8 MERV11s were delivered). When I reached out about this I got no response. 3. When my furnace started tripping during the cold snap in the first winter after install, Blue Flame's service department came out and after several visits and various unsuccessful fix
Patrick and Avery were terrific! They installed our new AC and it looks great. Very professional and personable. My puppy loves Avery more than me now, so he won’t be invited back. Thanks for the outstanding service!
I am a former customer. The last time I had a technician service my furnace, he told me how good it looked for being almost 10 years old. He then told me I should replace it at 10 years. But he just said it looked so good. After that it was nothing but scare tactic sales pitch nonsense. I despise scare tactic sales. Telling me I better buy stuff and services or else. Wrong. That's not the way I do business. I later learned that Blue Flame was purchased by a national company. Every time a good local company goes national and corporate, they're basically ruined. That's why the scare tactic sales. Good bye blue Flame.
Tariq is one the reasons why Blue Flame is a great company. He came and looked at my ducting and AC systems and was helpful and educational. Blue flame is the best- I’ll always go to them for my HVAC needs, especially if Tariq is there. Thanks!
AC did not work. Technician spent a lot of time tediously finding the issue, fixed it and discovered another issue. We decided to change the old system to new system. They did a great job installing new system. Very pleased with their technicians and their services.
Benjamin did a great job and was very professional and polite..I would like to have him again for future tune ups and services..
The whole process was easy and pleasant. Questions were answered promptly, the install was done quickly, and every employee I met was very friendly and professional. I would definitely recommend them to anyone needing their type of service.
Call anyone but these guys. If they do actually show up, they will give you a bill that's 3 times what the competition would charge. They wanted to charge us over $4000 to fix a leaking ac unit and refill it with refrigerant. I said no, hired a competitor and spent less than 1000 for the same service. Stay away from this sinking ship of a business
I have had issues with them since the installation 14 months ago, they claim they will be “making it right “, so I waiting to see what they offer to correct the past issues.
I booked with them through Home Depot HVAC services. They made an appointment, and then called to cancel the same day and reschedule, then on the re-scheduled date, they called again in the middle of the appointment window to inform me they "do not work on Mr Cool equipment" even though Home Depot sells Mr Cool, and I provided them all the information when I scheduled the appointment.
AC tune up. Charged me over $500 for a start up part for my AC that looks like it sold for under $25 in Home Depot. If this is true it is an incredible rip off. I’d love u to show me it was not true. Robert Pollack.
Our A/C stopped blowing cold. Called for a tech and Mike came out. Figured out the problem had to do with a sequence? problem with the heat pump. Problem resolved. Very polite and informative tech. Enjoy having Mike (multiple visits) as our tech when service is needed. Thank you!
Ms. McLane who booked my appointment reassured me no less than 5x (as she didn't sound sure so I ask many times), and the repeated response was that they -DO- install whole house dehumidifiers back on May 15 for a service on June 1st --- today May 31st, they called to say 'they do -NOT- install whole house dehumidifiers' I wonder if she is incentived to set appointments regardless of the validity of the client request? What a deceitful or incompetent way to waste time.
