We have had a really great experience with 1st response. We had no ducts in our house and had wall heaters and were looking for central heating and cooling, they recommended the mini split ducted units which was the perfect solution for our house. They also have comfort guarantee, which is really good too.

Easy to schedule with this company. Our service specialist Chandler Kron was super friendly and professional. He explained in plain English the service he provided and went over the maintenance report.

We have depended on 1st Response to maintain our heating system in our last two homes and we have always been very pleased with their work and professionalism. We have great faith in their expertise, recommendations, quality of work, and professionalism. They go over the top to make sure all our questions are answered and we are happy with the results. While the entire staff, from office to field are great, we always appreciate the extra effort that Chandler Kron demonstrates in every visit. We highly recommend them for any HVAC and hot water heater needs.

Riley provided professional and friendly service, and we really appreciated that 1st Response was able to book an appointment for next day service. We had been having issues with the gas valve on the furnace and it worked after the initial repair, but then failed again a week later. Fortunately this fell within 1st Response's service SLA window, and we only had to pay for the part and not the service to install it.

I was contacted by 1st Response service scheduler yesterday to schedule the annual maintenance on my home’s heating system. They had opening for today so we scheduled time for the visit. It was a pleasure to have Riley Spainhower, Service Specialist who came to my home to perform the work. Riley arrived on time and performed the work promptly and in a very professional manner. After performing the maintenance, he explained and shared results of the inspection he performed on various parts of the heating system. Riley was very courteous and great to talk to. I am very happy with his work so I highly recommend 1st Response as your go to for your HVAC needs.

I lived in a rented townhouse and my mini-split heat pump wasn't blowing out any hot air in the middle of winter. My property manager get a hold of these guys and we had a same-day diagnostic done by Rylan and Colin, then Chandler came out to flush and replace the refrigerant two days later. The mini-split is pumping stronger than ever. All of the guys were prompt, professional, and kept me updated on the situation. Thanks 1st Response - you guys are awesome.

I received a quick response and next day service by Braxten for a broken furnace. He took the time to explain the issue and how he was repairing it. He also did a full assessment on the furnace recommending that it was in good working operation and a replacement was still several years away. I couldn't be happier - 1st response has a new customer for life!

This is the kind of HVAC company you want to do business with. Our ancient furnace went out during a particularly frosty cold snap. Our property managers called 1st Response to help us out. From start (with Chandler) to finish (with Riley and Rylan) customer service has been impeccable. They were professional, personable, respectful, and kept me informed about the process. I will definitely recommend 1st Response to friends, family, and colleagues in the area!

I've worked as a general contractor for over 10 years and believe that a big part of the business is building good relationships. Working with Kimberly to schedule my yearly HVAC maintenance was quick and easy. I had worked with Ryland on a previous project and, as usual, he showed up on time and completed work in short order. I was left with a sense of confidence that my HVAC system would remain in good working order through the cold winter months.

As a general rule I very much dislike contractors and Braxton with his team managed to come through every time. From the estimate to the install to the inspection and yearly maintenance they have been top notch. I highly recommend Braxton and his team. The products they sell perform well too.

Chandler Kron was our tech and did a great job of maintenance on the furnace of the house we have recently moved into. He also checked heat registers, repaired faulty duct work in the crawl space and caught an issue with our water heater that is important to correct. All in all, a really thorough and meticulous job!

Like a lot of 1-star reviews, we initially had a great experience during the estimate and installation process. Chandler came out and gave us a lot of advice about what systems and machines were needed. At the end, we decided to update our furnace and upgrade to a tankless water heater, in addition to adding an AC unit. All in all, the final estimate came out to about $30K. During the installation process, the only thing we thought was a bit odd was that the installer was watching a lot of youtube videos on how to install furnaces, tankless water heaters, and AC units. We didn't think much of it since I'm sure different suppliers have different installation specs, but now that we're experiencing so many problems, in hindsight that was probably a red flag. Since installation happened about 6 weeks ago, we've have two separate leaks happen on the tankless water heater that 1st Response has been quick to address. Annoying that it happened, but understandable. The reason for my negative review is that 6 weeks in, last week was the first time we've really had to rely on the AC and IT DOESN'T WORK! $30K spent adding a new AC and upgrading the furnace and we don't have a working AC system. There's a horrible sound coming from the AC unit and every time we call 1st Response, we get connected to their dispatch service and all they can do is take a message, mark it as an "emergency" and promise to have a service manager follow up. I've called them at 8 am, then again at noon, then 2pm, and finally at 4:30pm and I've not received one call back. The next thing on my list is to file a complaint with the BBB and then I'm contacting their bond company. Maybe they'll respond then because as a customer who paid them $30K merely 6 weeks ago, they're not responding to multiple "emergency" requests. If you're expecting a company that responds to their customers in a timely manner and stands behind their workmanship, look elsewhere. I get that a lot of people have had a great exper
