Had Green City install a new Daikin AC unit to my existing furnace because the window units I had just couldn't keep the house cool in the heat. The crew came out and quickly installed the new unit which works great at keeping the whole house cool. Looking forward to the warmer weather now that we have A/C. The crew was professional, knowledgeable, efficient, and cleaned up after the job. Green City gave me a way better deal than the other big name company that gave me a quote. I'll be using them again for my maintenance needs in the future.
I used Green City to install a Daikin FIT heat pump and a Daikin Variable-Speed 96% Furnace, the latter inside of our attic. I was impressed by the professionalism of all the individuals I dealt with there, especially Chip, Scott and Joey, who did the installation. My main motivation was to have a more efficient system and air conditioning in the summer, but I've been pleasantly surprised by how much more comfortable the home is during winter even with a lower temperature setting. The difference is night and day with our previous system! They were recommended to me by a friend, and I wouldn't hesitate to do the same.
Cancelled my appointment 10 minutes into the arranged time then was told a diagnostic alone would be $300 and they may not even be able to solve my problem. Unprofessional and had to look elsewhere

Green City Heating and Air installed a new furnace and thermostat for us one year ago and did a maintenance check on it recently. We really appreciated the job that they did for the following reasons: - they were up front and professional when giving us a quote (I had done my research and didn't feel as though they were trying to sell us more than was necessary) - their workmanship was excellent (in addition, they were very open and willing to explain what they were doing during the process) - the furnace and thermostat have performed flawlessly over this past year...👍👍 - by this point in the process, we really trust them
I was able to get a 3-stage mini split quoted and installed within 2 weeks of calling them. Other companies were giving me timelines of 6 months or more for just a quote so it was great to see the expediency of Green City. Diamond came out and was able to answer all of my questions and provided me with lots of information about the mini split being installed, the permits to be pulled, and financing options. I received the quote within a couple of days of meeting Diamond and was able to schedule an install date for the next week. Devon and Matt came out for the install. They worked tirelessly through the rain and were very considerate, even taking their boots off every time they needed to come inside. Devon made a suggested change for the install location that would require fewer holes being drilled into the siding which I appreciated immensely and demonstrated keen knowledge of the install. The unit has been working great so far and I am experiencing much better heating, cooling and comfort. I would highly recommend this company and their team!
Was very happy with the overall experience working with Diamond, Jeff, and the install team. We had a tricky house to navigate and the crew handled it well. Currently my parents and brother have both recently installed Heat Pumps, AC through Green City. We went with the Daikin Fit Heat Pump and Natural Gas Modulating Furnace. Ready for winter and summer now in Seattle. Thanks Green City!
Had got AC and heat, mini split installed from them and had a great experience. We got three bids and had unbelievably unprofessional experiences with the companies. Green city the process was smooth and easy. The mini splits are perfect, working great!
I hired Green City Heating to relocate and install a new furnace, build new ductwork, and add an AC. Matt and Tony did a phenomenal job! The quality of the install is top notch, no corners cut, and the work ethics of the team is impressive. The process and the result exceeded my expectations on all fronts. Definitely calling Green City Heating again for my next project.
I had been planning to have my 30 year old furnace replaced with a heat pump last year and then Seattle was hit by record high heat and everyone else decided to do it at the same time. Many companies had six month or more waiting lists. I did some searching and found Green City Heating and Air Conditioning. They had favorable reviews so I gave them a call. They were able to come right away and give me an estimate. Due to Seattle noise regulations the other companies I had talked to could only install it in the front or backyard. Not ideal for my situation. Green City recommended the Daikin FIT. It was quiet enough that it could go on the side of my house and is also super efficient. They scheduled me for installation just a few weeks later. As luck would have it that day turned out to be the coldest day of the year. I was a little nervous about having my furnace removed in case there were problems that prevented them from finishing quickly. But they arrived on time and worked quickly. Everything was completed by mid-afternoon and the house had only dropped a few degrees. Their work was all of very high quality and they gave me a thorough introduction to the system. Over the next few weeks I had some followup questions which they answered promptly. I've lived with the system for three seasons now and it has exceeded all my expectations. We have a small home with solar panels and even though this new system is all electric we still produce more than enough electricity to power it. No more fossil fuel use and it is basically free to heat and cool the house! Incidentally, this unit has a variable speed compressor which not only makes it quieter it produces just the right amount of heating or cooling to keep your house comfortable. No more big blast of heat (or cold) and then a long cool down before the next blast. It's always just right and you don't even notice when it comes on.
The woman whom I requested an appointment with didn’t record the appointment… I scheduled this out over a month ago. Incompetent. And in the middle of a heat wave.
We needed to replace our furnace, upgrade our ductwork and add cooling to our home. We procured about 25 estimates (some vendors provided multiple options) and after doing our due diligence, selected Green City Heating and Air. Josh Bond was extremely knowledgeable, responsive and overall just great to work with. Given the cost of the system, I was very particular about what I wanted, including where the additional vents would be located. Josh was a great sounding board, telling us straight up what was necessary and what wasn't. I never felt like I was being sold to. In fact, I actually had to ask Josh to add two options to the proposal after doing the research on my end. Josh's professionalism and service extended to Jasper and Ron who did our installation. They were extremely respectful of our house, making sure every area was covered before beginning their work. They always arrived promptly and worked tirelessly to get the system up and running in a short amount of time. Everything was done well, to the point the inspector noted how well the ductwork was run. The only two hiccups was a miscommunication between the office and the installers regarding the amount of returns and the inspectors requiring exhaust modification. Jasper and Ron came back twice to rectify these problems and both times, they again arrived promptly and got their work done very quickly. They always stopped to explain what they were doing and in general just made sure I was in the loop re: every step of the process. They could've taken short cuts here or there but instead always went the extra mile to ask for my preference even if that meant additional work on their end. Given the amount of installers I spoke to, estimates I received, and research I did, rest assured that Green City Heating and Air should probably be your first call and likely the only call necessary.
These guys were amazing. I was told by Mountain Heating that my 12 year old Trane furnace needed to be replaced. Was told it was going to be 2k in parts and 2k in service. Green city got me going for a tiny fraction of that. 1 part and 34 minutes of labor and I'm warm again, but more importantly, we didn't just dump a furnace into the waste stream. I will be buying my next furnace from Green City, no doubt about it. Thanks guys!!!
Big thumbs down for Green City. Inquired with them about servicing my AC. Once I started asking questions about service costs they declined my business. It seems Green City only wants stupid customers they can rip off. Rude and unprofessional. Take your business elsewhere.
Despite supply chain shortages due to the pandemic Jeff and his team delivered. I got the ductless mini split system for my home and I have never experienced a more efficient way to heat a home! Looking forward to summer where I can try out to AC. Thanks again Green City Heating and AC!
I highly recommend Greencity Heating and Air. My mother recently installed a furnace with Greencity. Her furnace went out of order in the middle of cold season. The estimator, Mr. Diamond Harris, came out and estimated. He was courtreous and professional. He provided very clear plan how this can be installed. Answered all of our questions. Since this installation was after the broken furnace, my mother badly needed a new furnace as quickly as possible. Otherwise, she had to hold on to a small radiator all day. The owner Jeff thankfully priorized the installation date and she got a warm home again at the fastest. Also to mention, their installation crews, Matt and his colleague, was very professional. They explained details about the installation and the new furnace to my mother thoroughly and clean the area spottlessly. From the estimate to the payment with the office staff, Debbie who helped the payment and the warranty, nothing to complain about. Everything was great. Overall, I am happy.
We hired Green City to install a 3-Zone ductless system in our home after the heat wave last summer. We were first scheduled for install in September but a delay of the head units pushed the install. We got rescheduled for install again the last week of November and again was informed the day before what we had ordered was not in stock. After not hearing from anyone for almost two months regarding the status of our equipment and install, I called and requested if we could just upgrade the units to something that was in stock. We were able to do so and received a discount on the upgraded units. Finally. everything has been installed and we are pleased with thus far. The installers were friendly, explained everything they were doing, and cleaned up afterwards. Even though it took almost 6 months to have the system installed and it was unfortunate what we originally ordered caused such a delay but we are pleased with the upgraded Daikin Emura system.

Very happy with the service and install from Green City Heating. We were wrapping up a full remodel when we realized our old oil furnace needed updating. I called 10 companies, got multiple quotes and a few suggested alternatives - but it was Tyler from Green City who had the idea to install headless units in the attic, and go ductless and they really surprised me with the thorough and thoughtfulness they approached the estimate. He answered all my questions and even came back a *second* time to walk through some questions when other companies were telling me they could schedule me for estimate in 6 months! They're not the cheapest, but you get what you pay for - and I promise Green City goes the extra mile. I had them back in a month to replace a water heater as well. The owner Jeff also made himself available and I really appreciated that.
