The crew that came out to replace my water heater and furnace were professional and on time. They explained every step of the process and the installation took only about 3 hours. I would recommend this company to anyone who needs a water heater or furnace replacement. I am very happy with the service I received.
You can’t find a better company from sales to installation, Washington Energy is The One Stop Shop for your Homes needs weather heating or siding to windows and more. Not the cheapest option but the Only option for me and my family. Thank you Washington Energy, a example of how a company should be built. They take pride in the core values of Honesty, Integrity and Transparency. Made a lifelong customers of me and mine!
Well let's start with they installed my parents a new ac unit. Worked fine then fan goes down didn't think much of it they came out it worked fine. Weather gets colder, and since then it has been monthly visits, now down to bi weekly visits to now it not even working for 24 hours after a visit. In that time it has drained their propane tank which usually is about every 4-6 months to a took it less than a month and $1200 to refill. Before they excuse we are running it too high it was only trying to keep the house at about 65 degrees barely kept it at 60. Only on their most recent visit yesterday with two techs out there from about 8:30 to after 2:30 and in this 30 degree weather the house is at 55 degrees. Oh and cherry thought the techs I heard audibly say we can't guarantee that what we are doing will work long term. So it seems since the pandemic their strategic planning is to half measure after half measure and hope and pray these half measures work. At this point the tech coming out would shock me more if he fixed it than if he did what did and it failed again tomorrow.
Worked there for about six months, was unfortunately let go due to budget cuts, but it was a great working environment which motivated me to pursue trade school. Hoping this isn't the end of our professional relationship, just a bump in the road.
Great response time within 3 hours to emergency service call while others have 4-6 weeks wait.
Called to see if they would come out and service our gas fireplace but they were snooty and said that they did not work on any fireplaces older than 12 years old, presumably as an excuse to sell more fireplaces. Do not recommend!
WES installed exterior doors for us with work warranted for the lifetime of the door except for fair wear and tear. The bottom strip started to get brittle and break apart so I called and asked if it was covered under warranty. I was told the part would be covered but had to pay to have a tech come out and replace it. I asked if I could get the part and replace it myself and was told I would be better off getting it at Home Depot. I would have preferred to have been told it wasn't covered due to fair wear and tear... I guess a lot of people hear free part and pay for labor.
Professionals! Electricians and installers coordinated well. Just got the required mechanical inspection - WES passed with flying colors!
We have been using Washington Energy services for 16 years. They installed our A/C, New furnace, new hot water tank plus yearly maintenance. I called to make an appointment for maintenance and was told that they are not servicing townhomes or condos right now - focusing on homes instead. WHAT! They lost our business and I recommend to all to go elsewhere. The management/ supervisor made this decision - why? So long Washington Energy Services you made a really bad decision. Carmen Dunlap
It really was a pleasure working with Washington Energy Services on my existing Diakin system. Gabriel provided very through information regarding the existing system and options available to make more efficient. Bryan and team did an expert job on installing the Daikin One thermostat for the system as well as performing a full system test to ensure all was working as it should be. The Washington Energy Services team spends the time and effort to ensure what they are recommending is the right solution for the home owner.
I used Washington Energy Services to replace my furnace and install a brand new AC system for my 1970s era home. Compared to competitors, WES did the most robust intake process by listening to what I was looking for and assessing my house for what would be functional and effective. From there, I was only met with professionalism with everyone I interacted with from the in-office staff to the installers. The installers were on time, communicative, professional, and left my house cleaner than they found it. 10/10 would recommend.
Jason showed up on time, checked our generator, gave us our options then promptly took care of the servicing of our generator. He had all the parts needed with him so we didn't have to wait to get it repaired. Jason was polite and answered all our questions. Definitely recommend this company!
I have been emailing multiple energy contractors trying to find those who have availability within the time frame I need. This company couldn't even give me basic information because I refused to give my specific address and only the city before having the information I needed. I refuse to work with a company that can't even give me the most basic information in an email And instead tries to pawn me off on calling their call center to be 'handled' by a sales rep. I don't need to be sold on the project I'm trying to bid out I need contractors that have the ability to communicate effectively and timely. I have run contracting businesses for more than a decade and would never treat a potential customer the way they did. >>>>>RESPONSE: Apparently nobody within this company can understand what I was asking for. I had never refused to do and in home inspection for my estimate. I refused to give out the address until the company could provide me with some basic information about themselves. The response given to my review only further proves that they never actually understood what I was asking for in all of my communications.
I requested online an appt for an estimate for AC/Furnace replacement. After a couple of days I didn't hear back, so I called the main office and was able to get an appt. The tech arrived and provided good information, including a wait and save option. He was professional. When he left he said that he would email the AC/Furnace options within 24 hours. It's been 12 days and I've received nothing. I emailed him, no response. I emailed the main office, again, no response. You wasted my time and your technicians time. Ignoring potential customers must be a new business model I'm not aware of.
Korina was awesome. He was very informative and provided the best options for my situation. I have a delicate 18-20 year old system and he explained why it's not a good idea to do too much to it.
Look up reviews for other contractors, there are better. I had WES come out to get a bid in December, 2020. Salesman Tyson W came out 12/15/20 and gave us an estimate. He asked what our lowest bid was and then made one that was lower than that. We decided to go with WES and emailed him after the holidays to move forward. Tyson then said that he quoted us incorrectly and that the bid was no good for the work we actually needed done and that the cost would go up $900. We applied for an energy loan with the city that was already in process so we agreed to the increase so we could get installed quickly as we have no heat. He sent us a new bid, we were approved for the city loan and then Tyson and WES stopped corresponding with myself and the city. We tried to email all the people who were on correspondences with the city, Kelly C and Jerusha B, and none of them replied back to us. We have cancelled our contract with the city with WES and will be choosing another contractor. I am disappointed that we wasted so much time trying to work with WES and delaying the install. I would not recommend their services to anyone. If they are willing to ignore a $13,000 sale then I am glad to know upfront that they don't respect their customers instead of finding out after the install knowing they possibly would ignore or delay needed maintenance and repairs. Learn from my mistake and save yourself a headache.
Sitting talking with a very good friend outside of Washington energy services we how much HVAC really developed over the years to a fine art of sorts to my amazement we were discussing how in skyscrapers downtown they will both simultaneously heat and cool the building to achieve the perfect balance it requires a great deal of skill and experience HVAC is come a long ways
I tried to make an appointment for possible service/repair and estimate for replacement of a gas fireplace insert. I was informed by the receptionist that this company 'will not service any item we do not install' - this is perfectly reasonable but the 1 star rating is because she did not offer me the opportunity to go any further - as previously mentioned I was also interested in replacing the existing fireplace. She did not provide any further info nor attempt to elicit any other information - she did not even go as far as to follow up with the common statement "is there anything else I can help you with?" - overall - this person was rude to say the least.
We worked with Victor as we were gathering bids for an AC and Furnace Replacement. Victor was very thorough during his visit and answered all our questions. He was flexible and even responded to numerous text messages and emails after hours and on the weekend. Washington Energy Services provides high quality people and services. We did not end up going with them, but you need to include Washington Energy Services in your search! Each company we worked with, including Washington Energy Services, were all dressed up in the latest COVID fashion (Gloves, N95 Face Mask, and shoe covering), meaning they were responsible and cared about the health of my family and their employees.
I had a annual service done for heating and cooling system by Bredan Fisher and he was excellent at it. He not only services the system but also answered all my questions patiently. He was able to troubleshoot few things with heating and root cause it with suggestions on how to keep the system healthy. He is very knowledgeable and provides a great service. I would recommend Brendan and WES for HVAC services.
