Do not hire this company. I purchased an industrial grade whole house dehumidifier from Green Home Solutions. I was told that Baker Heating and Air does all of their installs into HVAC systems. Upon calling Baker Heating and Air, I was offered service at the price of $3300 to install a new dehumidifier. Once I explained I already had one, the offer of service was rescinded because “old people are dying without air conditioning” and “we don’t have time to help you”. So if I had purchased the unit from Baker and was able to be billed $3300 it’s okay for old people to be dying without air conditioning? Sounds like greed to me. I asked if I could be put on a list for service when things settled down and it wasn’t so hot- then it turned into a warranty issue. I explained I was willing to sign any necessary documents to relieve them of any warranty, then we are back to the old people are dying excuse. Additionally, I asked for a referral to another HVAC company but was told they don’t like putting their reputation on the line if other people do subpar work. Eventually after pressing the secretary, I was able to get the name of another company but she wasn’t sure if they do good work or if they install dehumidifiers. Again- I was told you perform this service for green home solutions all the time, why am I being excluded from your services?
Highly recommend Baker Heating and Air! They replaced my HVAC and hot water heater. Chance was very responsive and provided options to help decide the right equipment for my needs. Installers were very professional and ensured the installation was to my satisfaction. Also, products were installed sooner than expected which was a pleasant surprise! Great service!
Very professional and helpful. They determined my furnace problem and had it running on a Friday evening so that I would not be without heat over the weekend. They were very quick and responsive, I would definitely recommend this company.
Contacted Baker when our contracted HVAC company romsto did not help us by quoting "out of warranty compressor" and ridiculous pricing for replacement. Chance from Baker heating and air was great to let us know he would want to diagnose first quoted replacement cost upfront, even got us all the parts under warranty. it was repaired 1/3 rd of the cost quoted by romsto. great job (5 STARS).. thank you.
I wanted a mini split in my garage. I had contacted a few other companies and was not completely happy with the responses. Someone recommended Baker. I contacted them and they did everything right. They called back, arrived when promised, answered all questions thoroughly, and the final price was to the penny same as the estimate. The technicians Nathan and Garrett were professional and took pride in their work. This is a local business well worth supporting.

As I sat on my porch, drenched in sweat, rounding the corner I saw what appeared to be a man riding towards my house on a noble white steed. I wiped the sweat out of my eyes and refocused. It was then I realized that it was a white Baker HVAC van, no less triumphant at this point in my A/C struggles. Behind the wheel, with hands perfectly placed at the 3 and 9 position and driving precisely at the speed limit, I saw technician Joe Robertson. I had contacted Joe because my A/C unit was struggling to cool my house and it was a dire emergency as I have a pregnant wife who wasn’t dealing well with a house that would not get below 78 degrees. It was as if he sensed that I needed help because as I called, he simply picked up and said, “I am already on the way”. It was less than a minute from the time I called until he pulled up to save me. As he stepped out of the van, tools in hand, I felt pity for the A/C unit for what Joe was about to do to it. Joe walked to my outside unit and snapped his fingers and, it may be due to heat exhaustion, but I swear it appeared to me that the bolts on the unit actually loosened themselves, almost in an act of surrender. He attacked the A/C unit without haste. I sat back in awe and realized that Joe Robertson works in refrigerant on an r22 unit the way Picasso or Van Gogh worked with paints on canvas. It was the manliest thing I have ever witnessed. Hours later I would discover that my beard hairs actually became thicker just from the testosterone emanating from the whole situation. My A/C unit had my house back down to a cool 68 degrees very soon after Joe left. I woke up the next morning and it had crept back up to 69 degrees. I simply whispered to the thermostat “One phone call and Joe will be here” and it almost instantly went back down to 68 in the house. The humidity and temperature in my house is officially under control all thanks to Joe. I couldn’t be more thankful for Joe or more proud of the way that he’s mastered the craft.
Baker went above and beyond for our family to have heat. The day of the scheduled installation, it snowed. We have a very steep, rough driveway on a private road. They tried their best to get their van up our driveway. The van got stuck so they backed down and put chains on the tires. When that didn't work, they moved all the parts and tools to one of the technician's personal 4×4 truck. They spent hours installing our outside unit in 6°F temperatures, 40mph wind gusts, and blowing snow. They did it all with smiles on their faces and great attitudes. We are a customer for life, and I would highly recommend them to everyone. Not only did they heat our home, they warmed our hearts. Thank you, Joe, and the other 2 techs (I didn't catch their names) with him. Thank you Baker!
We have used Baker for a couple years and they are always professional and courteous. The technician has always been very knowledgeable and been able to fix the problem without pushing tons of upgrades and new equipment.
Excellent and Professional. I have had HVAC work done by another company in the past and had serious concerns about the guys that show up. The guys from Baker heating and air were personable, friendly and really just cared about the work they did. Excellent job guys!!!!!
Highly recommend Baker Heating & Air! My AC and furnace was roughly 25 years old and it died last week, completely done for.... Baker was able to come out the following week and install a new gas furnace and ac. And their attention to detail and neatness and pride in their installation surely shows! Great Job and looking forward to heating and cooling savings.

We have trusted Baker Heating & Air to service our home and office for the past few years and they have been top notch at every turn. Last week they replaced a dead heat pump with a glorious new furnace and AC system. Work was done quickly, every shred of trash removed, and the installation is clearly done by a professional. I cannot recommend them highly enough, no matter how large or small your need.
I called on a Saturday when my AC popped the breaker, they got back to me quickly and apologized as from my description the compressor was bad, and they couldn't get any parts until Monday, so the tech said he wanted to save me from an emergency call fee when they couldn't do anything. On Monday they came, it was the compressor as a manufacturing defect caused all the coolant to leak out when a weld broke. They got the parts, found it was under warranty, and only charged for labor and the recharge. Awesome people, very professional and got my AC back on that day!
I contacted several heating and air companies and the only one that got back to me was Baker. They responded quickly and even sent a tech out within a couple of hours. Before he arrived, Baker sent an email with the tech's name and picture so I'd know who to expect. I was really impressed with that safety measure. The tech was professional and friendly. He explained the issue with my AC unit, got it charged up so it would start cooling, and explained the process of finding the leak. He was upfront with the pricing as well. I recommend Baker heating and air.
This is the second instance is 60 days where we had Chance and Baker Heating convert an older home from heating oil to natural gas. One instance was a boiler the other was a forced air furnace. Not only was Chance prompt and courteous with communications, his prices were fair. We received several bids and feel confident that you will be treated fairly and have a good system when done.
From project start to finish we were guided by a knowledge team to help set us up with the right replacement that best suited our home. Their team provided professional installation and all necessary improvements to make sure everything we were replacing functioned properly. Chance, Sam, and his team went above and beyond what they had to in just replacing the units and exceeded any expectations we had. We would HIGHLY recommend them!
Excellent company for your HVAC needs. Excellent and fast communication. Just purchased a home that had an existing non working boiler. Emailed Chase for a quote on getting it fixed and got a reply within an hour. Boiler is fixed and my home will be nice and cozy this winter.
