Mr Martin and the folks over at Tidewater Plumbing and Heating are simply a God send! They are so humble and honest and helpful - I can't say enough great things about them. My air conditioning went out on the hottest of days recently - thankfully Mr Martin & his a/c knowledge and experience, were able to have me up & running and at a very competitively priced cost. 5 starts isn't enough for them but it's the most we can give here ...
So kind and sweet the whole time they were here! We called due to our AC completely shutting down and the very next day they came and fixed my 14 year old for such a reasonable price. During the entire process they were also kind enough to explain everything going on to me so I could understand the system better. I will absolutely be referring them to all of my friends and co-workers who need HVAC help!

Have not used their services as of today, however they kept me updated on when they will be able to fulfill the appointment. I have chosen to go through my home warranty.

After only 10 years of faithful service at SpeedPro Imaging in Norfolk, our water heater had given up on us and sprung a leak. Tidewater Plumbing and Heating were not only quick on the scene but very honest, communicative, and polite during the process. Their pricing was considerably less than any other competitor. Even after a completely honest, "totally-not-a-big-deal-at-all" mistake that lead to a damaged Keurig machine, our installer insisted that he pay out of pocket for a new one. What a great guy! Should we have any HVAC issues in the future, we know who to call.”
Had to install a new ac unit, Bill came checked my old unit and replaced it in one day. His price was the lowest i came across, great team, definitely recommend. I will be telling everyone about them.
Tidewater Plumbing has saved me so much money on my plumbing and heating issues for the past 20+ years. Mr Martin knows how to fix every problem I have ever had at my house from replacing my heating a/c system to replacing pipes under my bathroom sink to finding a outside water leak. Mr. Martin and his partner Morris are true honest, polite, hardworking, very knowledgeable gentlemen. I would never trust my plumbing and heating issues to anyone else. More people need to have the integrity that Mr. Martin has.
Bill Martin came to my house and change my indoor and outdoor unit. Him and his assistant Moris gave me and my wife the best service and price around town. We highly recommend him to everyone.
Conversation: Me: "Hello, I just had a quick question. I have galvanized steel pipes in use for the drainage lines in my crawlspace and I was wondering if you installed replacement piping on that." Tidewater Plumbing and Heating: "No, can't get to that now." Me, after a second: "It's not an emergency. I was just looking to get an estimate and see what the cost would be..." Tidewater Plumbing and Heating: (interrupts me sarcastically) "Yeah, okay sir..." Me: *long pause* (in disbelief) Me: *Hangs up* Here's the thing: if you can't treat potential customers with a basic level of respect, don't pick up the phone in the first place.

Bill and his crew are extremely helpful in repairing my heating/air or plumbing problems. His work is always done properly and at a very fair price. I trust him to repair what needs to be fixed in my home.
