2023 update: Have used Fairfax Heating and Cooling at our old house and new house. Very fast service, great prices, so thankful to have a reliable, friendly, fast HVAC service to be able to depend on. Previous review from 2018: Amazing! Same day estimate, and quoted at least $50 less than other companies to come out to the house. Fixed the problem quickly, showed what to do for future reference, and great customer service. Will definitely use again in the future!!!
I've used them twice now for repairs. They did my AC unit a few years ago and today did a bit of maintenance on my furnace. Miki is a true professional and knows the business very well. Mike is learning from him and has knowledge in the space as well. They are fast, and prompt and take action quickly. I highly recommend this business.
Mike came over for an emergency call on Christmas Eve. He was professional, quickly identified the issue, fixed the problem, and gave helpful advice on how to effectively run my hybrid unit during particularly cold weather. We plan to switch over to their HVAC business in the future. Bob

These guys did a great job. I'd do business with them again any time. The price was fair and no surprises. After they finished and left, there was an issue with the AC cutting off abruptly. They came right back out and fixed the minor issue that happened to be with the new thermostat. It was easily made right, and we have been happy (and cool!) ever since.
Michael was extremely helpful, informative and thorough with our situation this weekend. Imagine a hot summer day with no A/C ! We called the business and got a response right away. Michael was able to see us same day and spent time to educate us from the furnace to installing our new thermostat. He made sure we understood what we were doing and why we were doing it. Thanks for the help and will definitely refer to family and friends!
Fairfax Cooling & Heating installed/replaced my old AC system 8 years ago. Today, Miki came by again to help quickly diagnose and resolve an issue I had with my AC unit. It was apparent how knowledgeable and honest they are as the issue was resolved quickly and professionally. I will continue to work with them for my future HVAC needs.
My heating unit stopped blowing hot air a few weeks back and Mike did a great job of fixing the issue. I couldn't have asked for a better service from Mike and the team. They were extremally responsive, transparent and honest. Mike was upfront and fixed the issue the same day. First HVAC company that didn't tell me to replace my unit. Additionally, Mike did a great job of educating me on things I should look out for down the line if the problem occurs again. Mike and Micky did an excellent job replacing my hvac. My utilities dropped by nearly 75%! The upstairs was unbearably hot in the summers, but Micky engineered a great solution and now my whole house is the same temp!couldnt be happier with the great service and the most competitive prices in the area!

Without a doubt this company is responsive and doesn’t try to oversell you and realizes you’re doing your best to try to keep your house together even if your budget is tight. They will not try to upsell. They are frank about what you need to address sooner than later. They are exceptionally responsive and will recommend things that you might want to consider in the future as budget allows.
They gave a competitive rate to replace my specialty heating and AC system, and even though the specialty company didn't provide the outer cover of the system, they worked to discuss other it one it was clear it was needed and remained responsive even though they already had my money. A+, would do business with again.

They installed a 50-gallon Bradford White gas hot water heater this afternoon. They previously installed a gas furnace in the middle of the night when it died in November. I've always felt comfortable dealing with them since they never pressure the customer and are upfront when repairs aren't necessary. Their crew of jovial workmen arrived promptly at 9 am and installed the tank and replaced the old lines for water and gas that had leaks. As the old tank was 25 years and leaking water from the bottom of the tank, it was great to catch it before it flooded the basement. Thanks, and here is the photograph of the new hot water heater.
The person who is driving with the license plate UMB-6103 was driving aggressively and recklessly. He tailgated me even though I was going over the speed limit, I switched lanes to the right to get away from him, he then proceeded to speed and cut in front of me in the right lane to which he break checked me several times. I then went in the right turn lane to get away from him and then he purposely cut lanes and stopped abruptly in the middle of the lane to get me to crash into him. I hope this isn’t who you want to represent your company vehicle. This man should not have a license and I will follow up with authorities.
I had a new HVAC installed in April. Not only was the price super competitive but they were able to complete in 5 hours. The unit is incredible. For the first time the third floor is just as cool as the basement. And the monthly electric bill has gone down $150! Fairfax Cooling has been super responsive when I have had minor issues. The only real issue I have now is that the unit is working too well. I am getting condensation in the attic. We are working to fix now. I totally recommend Fairfax Cooling and Heating!
