Please do not use!!!!!! Terrible i have had a maintenance agreement for about 9 months. Back in January they performed the first annual maintenance. after the service rep was finished i asked if he checked the downstairs unit as i did not think it was allowing the two zones to operate properly. he stated"it is working fine. after i discussed further he said it may be and it may not be? the second serviced the same rep came and supposedly serviced the units. soon thereafter i turned on the AC for the upstairs and the air outlet temperature was 4 degrees lower than the input temperature. when the service person was there he took somewhere between 3-5 minutes to check 2 upstairs units.the only work it appears he did was to clean the coils in the outside unit. the invoice said the charge was $258 for apparently only cleaning the outside coils. i fired them. i had another company come to fix the unit. This is what they found: 1. The unit cooling was 2 degrees. 4 lbs of refrigerant was required 2. There was a piece of insulation against the cooling coil blocking air flow. 3. The condensate traps were clogged 4. Schrader valve loose Step 3 i had the control panel that controls the two zones replaced. it never operated as designed so i had another company come in to find out why. Platinum Quality Air never programmed the thermostat for the sunroom so it never turned on the air to the sunroom. in addition because the thermostat would not control the valve the heat was constantly on in the sunroom when the system was on in the main house. i spent $1000 and the system noever operated properly. they never checked out the operation of the system to assure proper operation. sloppy work and cost me hundreds in heating the sunroom for the winter.

Locally own businesses are the best! They really work with their customers to keep their homes cool in summer and warm in winter! You will not be disappointed. I've used them for 20 years!
We have been customers since 2016 and have bought 2 systems with them for 2 different homes. However, we will never use them again for any service!!! We were to supposed to have our system serviced on January 18th, but Karen called to reschedule due to the tech having Covid. new appointment scheduled for Thursday, 1/27. Well, this past weekend when it was 28 degrees outside, we woke up to no heat. We immediately called to ask for a tech to come out. Two hours later, Karen called to say she had nobody to send and would have to get back with me the next day. After going back and forth with her, reminding her of the missed appointment and that we are "Gold" members, she stated she had only worked there a year and was not sure about our history with the company. Not sure how her time with the company is relevant to our situation, but she said would call back in a few minutes but NEVER called back. My husband called the answering service an hour later and left his information and still no call back. Monday rolls around and still NO call from Karen or anyone else, for that matter. Instead we had to hire a different company to come and fix the thermostat. Thursday rolls around and guess what?!?! The tech was a NO show for our scheduled appointment to service our system. Karen is completely worthless. It seems the company has went down hill with the departure of Peyton and Josh. There is absolutely no customer loyalty or appreciation here, so don't waste your money with them!
Our A/C went out on a late Friday August afternoon. My wife made an SOS call to Platinum (excellent customer service by the person who took our call) and the next day Peyton showed up - he had us up and running in no time. Unfortunately, it was time to replace our 12 year old unit. Peyton set us up with a Tuesday install - which I could not believe after hearing horror stories from friends and co-workers about their long waits to get new A/C. The crew, Zach and Cary, arrived promptly at 9:00 am and finished up by 2:00 pm - just like Peyton promised! They were fantastic. Professional, personable, and very concerned about our comfort. I can't say enough good things about Platinum. We have been loyal customers for over 25 years - and we'll continue to be. With that kind of outstanding response and work, why would anyone choose any other contractor? Definitely a 5-star company in every way.

I was pleased that Platinum Heating & Air 500 was able to come and check our system so quickly, diagnose the problem and install a new unit within a 4 day period. This was during a heat wave. We are completely happy and comfortable.
Great experience working with PlatinumAir500. They were on time both days and kept me informed. Kudos to Peyton for letting me know that I didn’t actually need an outdoor unit and that it was a mistake on his part. Saved me almost $5G’s. I love honesty and integrity. I highly recommend PlatinumAir500 for any of your HVAC needs. They are now my go-to HVAC folks!
Jarell came and did our AC tune up. He was on time, very professional and did a complete, wonderful job. He was very mindful of reclosing the gates so the dog would not escape. Thank you!
You will love the Plantinum team, install, service, and repair. This is my 2nd home with hiring them to install an AC new units from Platinum and I will refer, recommrmd and reassure you they are awesome to partner with.
Platinum heating and air is a fantastic company. Zach and Peyton were fantastic technicians. They came out and fixed my AC the same day I called. They were on time, professional, and very knowledgeable. Don’t call anyone else. They rock.

Every time I have done business with this company they have been professional and knowledgeable. I had an issue with my ac unit and Zach came out the same day, diagnosed the issue and replaced the part that was needed. I had cold air running through my house again less than an hour after he arrived. Platinum is the only company that I will call with my heating and cooling needs. 5/27/21: It was time for the annual maintenance inspection on my ac unit so of course I called Platinum. The service was amazing as always from initial contact with the receptionist to when it was completed. Zach came out and worked efficiently while keeping me informed every step of the way. They always exceed expectations and are still the only company that I will call with my heating and cooling needs.
I have been using Platinum 500 for years! They installed my whole house dual zone system for thousands less than anyone else! To top it off the Platinum protection covers everything from service to repairs! Had a capacitor replaced 3 years after install and didn’t cost me a dime! Best company I have ever worked with when it comes to HVAC!!! I will never use anyone else and will only recommend them!!!
Excellent Highly recommend. Outstanding company to do business with. Owner is extremely knowledgeable & went over everything in detail that was going to be done. Employees are very respectful, showed up on time, & worked diligently. Zach went above & beyond to keep me informed as the work was being done. Job & workmanship exceeded my expectations from the duct cleaning to the installation of the AC & Heating System. I will continue to do business with this company.

We have used this company for at least twenty years We had an appt for a furnace maintenance approx two weeks ago. Our thermostat needed replacing but the amt was almost $300 and we said we couldn't afford that. He said until we had one that worked he couldn't look at the furnace. We then told him we would call when we had one. At no time did he say they would come out if they didn't do the installation. So we found the one like it thru a supply company for $65 plus tax and shipping. My husband put it in and it works just fine. We called today (40 Oct) to set up an appt and they said they wouldn't come. So, I guess loyalty gets you no where in this society. We are on a fixed income and can't understand why they couldn't take that into consideration. Found another company who is coming out next week. I wouldnt recommend based on the nasty reply from Charles.
Posting for my parents, they tried to make an appointment to get their furnace checked and have been customers of Platinum since 1993, however, they were refused my parents business because my parents recently installed their own thermostat. It had gone out & when they had someone come out to check & get an estimate for new part & install, they were quoted almost $300. Financially, they could not afford that. So they ordered their own part & easily installed it themselves for $75. This is horrible customer service to a long standing customer just because they decide to install it themselves.
