TOTAL SLOBS. They have a guy at a booth at Home Depot. Took my number down for an AC Tune Up. They started actually harassing me, texting and calling me NON-STOP for WEEKS to schedule. I finally scheduled when it worked to, set aside time from work, and they flaked like 2 hours before in the most nonchalant, casual, way like it was the usual. No apologies, told me I was lower priority and got bumped off their schedule.

dishonest people tried to tell me that my unit was bad when it was under warranty and only needed a small part my airconditioner was not working and they said that my compressor was bad and it was just a contactor for $130

5/18/2023 Austin - HVAC and Brazing Wizard & John - Tech Manager and a wealth of experience and info ( plus great stories) have remedied a complicated situation where we were looking for a refrigerant leak. They diagnosed the issue, had a plan to evaluate where the leak might be and Austin was back quickly to find the leak, repair the refrigerant line and restore the unit to good working condition. Update: 5-9-2023 A business lives and dies by their technicians. Thankfully I know who to ask for. When you find a good tech you stay with them. Found one and that’s why I will stay with ESCO. Randy knew what he was doing and after talked I knew I could trust him. If I trust him then I trust Esco. He explained to me all the ends and outs of my unit and when and why I might need a replacement. I am not there yet but when I do that’s who I am calling. UPDATE: Turns out the fix did not work. Not blaming them as it did seem to fix it. Ran for a few hours and the fuse on the control board blew again. $189 fix that did not work. He replaced the contact relay I believe. Probably a $20 part. Took 30 minutes and charged $189. But he was there for over an hour inspecting so I understand. But it did not fix the issue. Called them back and they sent a new guy out since the other guy was busy. I already did some testing. Heater worked, fan works. Its just when the cooler starts up the fuse blows. He seem to be unsure and said the board might need to be replaced. The board in there was only 5 years old. $836. Ouch. I said ok but over the weekend it didn't sound right. I am in I.T. and boards usually die, not work a little and stop. All the youtube videos on this problem never indicate a board issue. So I dug into learning about everything. Turns out that $836 charge is for a $150 board and install that takes less than an hour. But I still didn't think it was that. I asked for a second opinion but never got a call back from the first guy, who I felt was really knowledgeable. Several videos mentioned the Capacitor on the AC unit outside. Looked it up, $15 from Amazon. Ordered it. Took 1 minute to move the wires to the new Capacitor. Turned it on. Has been running for 2 days now so I consider it fixed. They should have know that. They rip me off and these are the repairs that were done...installing a new toilet and fixing a shower handle that broke should have been a one day job but it took 2 days to get it done. First day installed the new toilet and working on replacing the broken shower handle where it took 6 hours but shower was still leaking afterwards didn't know until I pointed it out that it was still leaking cost me $996 and make me late for work for 2 hours, had to come back the second day to fixed the shower again for only an hour and a half another $1000 unbelievable!!! would not recommend these guys stay away if you want to save your money Travis was the techn guy so beware Was quoted to do both for $1,100. But ended up paying about $2,000 Total rip-off $ 2000..
