Awesome family run business with fair prices, honest technicians who know what they are doing and they get out there quickly. 10/10.
Never showed up when scheduled and never answers phone for customers unless it is the home warranty company calling.
Line had a hole from rubbing. Thomas repaired the line and charged the system. All I working well.
I love this company! We have been using them for years and they are so nice, very quick to respond, and their yearly maintenance agreement is fantastic! Highly recommend!!
Tom and Thomas did a great job after our Trane unit bit the dust as they say. Thomas stood in the cold and worked his heart out to get us heat in our home. Can’t say enough about his work ethic and professional service. Well done guys.
On time and quickly diagnosed two problems that other companies missed. Excellent Service, Great Value!!
Showed up on time and got my AC working great very quickly. Will definitely recommend to anyone needing and AC fix.
My air had gone out in the night, and I left a message. They called me back first thing and were here within hours. In this summer heat, that was amazing! I have had great experience with this company and I highly recommend!
Thomas and Tim were great throughout the process. Answered my questions all along - before purchase of AC/Furnace, while waiting for unit to arrive, and at time of installation. Everything appears to be working. Good experience all around. Hopefully I am set for the next decade or two.
Wouldn’t recommend this company to anyone. I will share briefly a few incidents. Initial technician insisted upon arrival that locks for the coolant valves were necessary and demanded immediate payment for doing so (I have since had several other technicians inform me that this is not true). They damaged my property and performed substandard work. If I could give negative stars, I emphatically would.
Our heat went out on a chilly morning in February. We called a major company we’ve used in the past, and were quoted a $1000 repair, but they recommended we fully replace the unit, as it is 16 years old. Ouch. On a whim, I looked in our local FB group for recommendations, and called Assured. On the phone, they offered to bring space heaters in case they couldn’t get us fixed up right away (this was a Friday afternoon) but that they could come in just a few hours. They were beyond friendly, as I watched them work. They cleaned several connections in the blower motor, taped some loose flapping insulation (unrelated to the issue, just nice of them) and had the unit working in about an hour. Problem solved for the cost of a very reasonable service fee. I’m SO glad I called them!
Assured Heating and HVAC company gets a 5 STAR rating from my family! The response time is A+ to me. An AC problem in May/June of 2019 was unbelievably the best on the site/home timing that I have ever experienced! Prompt, effecient ,lknowlegable, service call ever experienced. This is a company with very concerned personnel for my prompt need to have a fast inspection of my unit in almost 100 degree heat last summer. This company comes highly recommended from me.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY As of this review I have gone 12 days with no heat. They installed parts today and my heater is doing the exact same thing. Customer Service is HORRIBLE. Their attention to detail is non-existent. I transferred my repair to another company. Due to I have no faith in them fixing ANYTHING CORRECTLY. The Attitude alone of their Dispatcher / Owner or whoever I spoke with sucked. Unable to leave a voicemail over the last 12 days, due to the mailbox is full. I could go on and on with many more reasons why I do not want them back at my property. Hope people read the reviews and take notice..... I am upset would be saying it mildly....
Consider this a zero rating. Long story short, I was told I had to use these guys for my home warranty. After assessing that my coil needed to be replaced, they “warned” me that the home warranty company might insist on some upgrades that I would be required to pay for. To replace the coil was $1300 and they insisted I was responsible for $4500 in upgrades in order for them to replace a coil....based on Assured’s report. It was well over 100 degrees in my home for five days while they tried to scam me. I finally told the warranty company that if I was responsible for $4500 of the repair, I will be using another company. Not only was I quoted $4200 to change out the entire system, the new company topped me off with refrigerant so my home is not over 100 degrees while I wait. Basically, Assured Heating and Air tried to scam me into paying nearly $6000 to replace a single part when the entire system can be replaced for much, much less.
Seriously, they were so amazing! I'm happy my home warranty set them as my service repair folk. My issue (blower computer failing) wasnt something that could be fixed on the spot. It happens. Parts need to be ordered per the manufacturer's warranty and such. The delay for repair was NOT on Assured, but on the home warranty company and the manufacturer. Anyone who has given these guys a low rating were doing so out of discomfort in their homes, not realizing it is mostly due to the home warranty company or whatever manufacturer warranty. Very professional, friendly, and personable. I would recommend Assured Heating and Air to my own mother (if she lived here haha). I will, however, recommend them to friends who live in the community. Thank you, for a job well done and getting my home cool again.
Awesome family business. They make it right for you.
Service was quick and staff was wonderful. They were able to come out same day! I was very pleased with their communication throughout the entire process. They even text you when their on the way and you can even track them with arrival time. That was also helpful.
Assured Heating and Air was referred to us by Home Warranties of America and replace our HVAC system. After an seasonal inspection and cleaning by a HVAC professional, it was brought to our attention that the Technicians from Assured Heating and Air failed to address two major electrical hazards. 1) the electrical and thermostat cable sheathing is damaged exposing the inside wiring to the elements. 2) The old unit used a 100 amp circuit breaker, but the new unit is rated at 30 amps maximum overload protection. This was not noted nor brought to our attention. The warranty company said that Assured Heating told them that since it was more than 30 days, THEY were not going to do anything. Find a better company that Assured Heating & Air, they do not care about excellence.
Do not use this company. Consider this a “zero star review.” This is the abbreviated story: We hired Assured Heating & Air (AH&A) for a new HVAC system in our bunkhouse in May 2017 for $7500. AH&A reviewed our building, recommended, & installed a mini-split system that ended up not being capable of heating the building in cold weather. After much back & forth, AH&A’s remedy (2nd written proposal) was to install larger units for an additional $2500; they stated there was NO GUARANTEE the upgraded units would adequately heat the building. 🤷🏻♀️ Along with the ridiculous 2nd proposal, they refused to do any work unless negative reviews re their company were removed. 😂 No deal. In the meantime, we found AH&A violated the initial proposal / contract we signed with them by not getting permits, and they did not follow TN state codes. We were issued a 30 Day Notice by the TN State Electrical Inspector to have power shut off due to their shabby work & code violations in the bunkhouse. We sued AH&A 6/18 and won - $7500+ additional costs. Because AH&A is a Corp, they were represented by a lawyer, we represented ourselves. AH&A appealed the decision & requested a jury trial. We filed a formal complaint with the State of TN licensing board against AH&A which is still pending. Update: Over the last few weeks, we offered to settle with AH&A for less money. We would like to get this over. However, no settlement can be reached because we refuse to sign a confidentiality agreement to not discuss the details of what AH&A has done. We think it is important that our community know how this company operates. We feel an ethical responsibility to let others know of the violations AH&A left in our building. Therefore factual updated reviews will continue to be posted. Believe it or not...a jury trial cannot be scheduled until Nov. 2019! 🤦🏻♀️😂🤷🏻♀️ We’ll be ready. We have filed an amended motion to our original complaint from $7500 to $10,500; the cost of the hav
*****🏃 RUN AWAY AND DONT LOOK BACK SAVE TIME AND MONEY BY GOING ELSEWHERE**** By far this has been the worst experience dealing with BOTH Assured and my home warranty. Please please do your research and go with a reputable company that has a food rating with the BBB as this place is not even rated! A.C. went out in July(heart of the summer) Tech came out stated there is a leak but did not pin point where from. He only stayed outside and added Freon to the unit. I was puzzled because he stated it was a leak but made no attempt to go inside to check the A.C. unit. 2 weeks later the Freon goes out. This time I requested a full maintainence check up so he can inspect the pipes, could etc. The same tech came out and stated it was the evaporator coil. By this time it's August. Several calls were made between the warranty company and Assured. Finally the watranty company approved the claim. However weeks went by and no word from either Assured or the warranty. I made at least 6 calls and left messages for Assured to call back. They didn't even have the courtesy to call back to see if we needed more Freon nor to inform us on if they were coming out. Finally the warranty company called and told me they approved my claim for 700.00 but I would end up paying 3700 to replace not only that evaporator coil but now the unit itself must be replaced as it isn't a 14 seer and not up to the energy efficiency standards!!!??? I was highly upset. By this time its end of September. Now, Assured has came up with some b.s. to attemp to get more money! Not once did the technican bothered to document this on the invoice sheet nor had the courage to notify us to explain all this. the warranty company said they could not cover the condenser unit because the condenser unit actually works fine but they will pay to replace the evaporator coil. I asked the lady why would I replace the condenser unit if it's working fine and the only thing is a leak coming from the evaporator coil? She truly
