These guys rock. I shopped around different HVAC companies big to small, and John Mark was always there to answer my calls. He sent as many different quotes as I needed to find the right product, was patient, and got back to me quickly when I had questions. They also have the best labor warranty for the value that I found. They are not the cheapest company, but they are not the most expensive either. Overall I would highly recommend hiring them, and trust their opinion!!
These guys are amazing. They are my HVAC company for life. I cannot recommend them highly enough, and if you are lucky enough to be in their service area then hire them. You will be hiring the best.
Nothing about having your air or heat go out is pleasant or convenient except for working with Cumberland Cooling! If you need HVAC repair, this team makes the entire process as pleasant, convenient, efficient and cost-effective as it can possibly be. They've worked on our HVAC system many times, including fixing it when another company said it absolutely had to be replaced, and reinstalling the unit and getting it restarted after major storm damage to our home. Most recently they diagnosed a tricky issue, got the part in hand quickly, and went above and beyond to get the repair done even though it was after regular hours. The entire team - owners, scheduler, technicians - are true professionals, extremely skilled at what they do, and always put the customer first.
These guys are just the best all around. To anyone in East Nashville looking for trustworthy, reliable service Cumberland Cooling are your guys. If you follow many of the neighborhood groups, anytime someone asks about HVAC needs, Cumberland Cooling is the first company locals recommend.
Cumberland cooling has helped me with a few issues around my new(to me) house and I’ve always been so happy with them. Recently I had a very odd/hard to diagnose issue with my hvac which took multiple visits to figure out what it was. Blake didn’t give up on me even when I was becoming so exasperated. He fit me in last minute to diagnose and then fit me in last minute again later the same day to replace the broken part and my household is so grateful. I’ll be calling them for anything hvac. Highly highly recommend Cumberland Cooling! Their response time to our initial call was extremely speedy (showed up within hours). The person who came out to fix the AC was extremely knowledgeable and professional. These guys don't miss!

Awesome!! Came in and saved my life when the heat was out and it was 9 degrees out. On Christmas Eve! Really thankful for them coming out and making sure we were warm and safe.
My heating system was not working and with a cold week ahead, I was in urgent need of repair. John Mark came by within a couple hours and diagnosed the problem–he saw my unit was still under warranty and saved me a great deal of money. Awesome workers and my house is warmed up again just in time for Christmas. Great choice for anyone in East Nashville.

I’m a realtor and have used and referred Cumberland many times in the last six years. I’ve never had a complaint. During a renovation on my home, the technician routed a trunk line in a manner that would not work for the renovation. It was going to be a costly repair and take a couple of days labor to correct. I also felt that I may have been as in error as I did not communicate as thoroughly as I might have. I was worried that the issue may turn contentious. When Blake came out to inspect the work, he immediately saw the problem and without any arm-twisting agreed to correct it. I’m not sure I even had to ask… it was just offered. A few days later, four guys were out to make it right. Blake’s integrity not only left me feeling good about Cumberland as a business, I also felt little more optimistic about decency in general. You may get a cheaper quote elsewhere but you’ll be hard pressed to find the same principles or integrity of guys like Blake and John Mark.

Cumberland gave me quick but thorough service to diagnose my HVAC issue. William the tech was polite, friendly, knowledgeable, and walked me through in normal language what the issues were. And finally, the price was very fair for the level of service and timeliness provided. Thanks Cumberland Cooling team!
My family was going through a renovation and our AC unit was not working. John went out of his way to schedule an early morning appointment so that our family (including a 2 year old and 1 year old) would have AC during the heat wave. We have used them for three years and love them. John provides excellent service, is genuine, and is a great guy. He really takes the time to get to know his clients and he treats them like family. Last time he came over he took the time to say hi and play for a minute with my daughter Slater. Cannot recommend them highly enough.
This crew is so awesome. They replaced our AC and made it as painless and understandable as humanly possible.
After living in east Nashville for the last 12 years I can say this company is, by far, the best HVAC company I’ve used. Great service great value and they will truly get you what you need and not what costs the most. Couldn’t recommend them more!

These guys are the best! I previously had work/maintenance done by two other HVAC shops, and the others don't hold a candle to Cumberland. First off, the Cumberland guys clearly know what they're doing. It literally took them ~5 minutes to diagnose the root cause and fix for a lack of AC in one of my rooms. This was a problem two other companies previously couldn't figure out. And their updated duct routing fix worked perfectly. They're also just nice people - very professional, respectful of your home, willing to take the time to explain things in general terms, and transparent about approaches/costs that they don't think are worth the money. That's extremely important (to me at least - other shops I used prior put dents in my walls moving ladders, tried to sell more work than was required, etc...)
Since our heating and cooling systems were more than 20 years old, we began to get estimates and meet with companies to do the work. After talking to 4 companies and multiple estimates, we met with Cumberland Cooling. Their estimate was below the others and they told us about things WE DIDN'T need in the other quotes. System was installed in November and works great. Thanks.
