Good service
Very good service
They must have too much work, or are picky about who they work with as they stood me up last year, and again last week. They also had claimed to put me down for regular maintenance but never followed up. Don't offer to come 'this afternoon' if you can't, or at least call with an update. I won't be calling them back.
We unfortunately used this company as they were advertised on Carrier's residential site. On the initial visit, we were advised that our TXV valve had gone out on our 1 year old unit. We were quoted $485 onsite for the labor. After waiting 40+ days to find the TXV valve, the technician replaced the part and we wer charged $680 without any communication. On top of that, the technician advised the compressor unit was bad and that Wes, "the only person allowed to give quotes", advised we're looking at another $1300-1400 for labor and fees. A second company came out and advised there was not a single problem to be found in the compressor unit (and advised even if there was, they would only charge $600). My girlfriend and I have both called and complained to simply get a copy of the invoice of the original work order and to this point, ACS has refused to provide anything. Carol was very friendly and understanding but Kim is an absolute nightmare of incompetence and arrogance. I wouldn't recommend to anyone.
I scheduled an appointment with them for 2 days later. On the day, they never came and said they didn't have it on the books. When the technician came out, he told us that the refrigerant was was "a buck fifty a pound". This is not language that should be used with laymen when you mean one hundred and fifty. When we asked how many pounds it would be be and how much the total would be, he said "don't worry, I'll take care of you!" He went out back, and we thought maybe he was coming back with an estimate. Instead he came back with a receipt for 600 dollars. 2 weeks later, the air conditioning is broken again. Anyway, now we are going to be stuck with a massive bill on top of the 600 that we paid two weeks ago. They should have just fixed the problem the first time instead of stringing us along.

Not a bad establishment at all. They are pretty prompt in most cases whenever I have called in a pinch. Fees can be a bit much for simple repairs, but when you have tenants who are either cold or hot in adverse weather (that's when these hvac systems typically break) its worth it.
Everyone knows how hard it can be to deal with HVAC. The lack of knowledge, the high costs... I had Steven come out to quote me a replacement on a new HVAC unit, as I was being told i needed to replace my 2 year old HVAC that was having problems. I had 5 people come to the house and they all quoted me between $6500 and $10500, and then Steven rolls up like a boss, questions why it needs replacing, and within 15 minutes had my unit back up and running. He wouldn't even take cash. His kindness and willingness to problem solve my issue saved me so much money... I can't even begin to thank him enough. I will be using these guys for any service and replacements in the future.
We have been using Air Conditioning Service for almost 30 years and would never consider using anyone else! When we moved into this house, we used another company but quickly found that they were ripping us off! So we switched and have never regretted it.
Great people, they are pleasant on the phone, have competitive pricing and do a really good job. Michael came out and in less than 20 minutes he had my system back up and running again.

Air Conditioning Service has been great! We've used them for maintenance, installation, and repair! They've been great every time. Prompt responses, always willing to answer questions, the techs are all great, nothing to complain about!

Occasionally you are lucky enough to find a truly outstanding company that stands behind their work. When this happens, as a business man, I believe they deserve recognition. Spring service was performed but a condensation tube was missed and we had enough water damage in our downstairs media room which required a built in cabinet to be removed and considerable carpet drying. I believe most companies would just say "tough luck" you are on your own........Not Air Conditioning Services! They stepped up and took care of all expenses. The service tech came to my house and checked out my unit. They explained things that I can do to help with my unit lasting longer. Very neat and polite guy. They are a hard worker.
He found & fixed a safety concern. Very detailed guy. I did mention to him as well as several others about the water issue due to humidity in summer starting when we installed the system. I hope this will NOT be a problem later on. Many guys have tried to solve it.
