Standard H&A is the super best! They kept our two elderly (24 years old!) HVACs alive for three extra summers and were super nice about it, not pushing new units at all (nobody appreciates the typical huffing and sighing repairman in that situation.) Then, when the time came, Standard did excellent install for the replacements at a great price. They arrived on time with all the people and parts needed to do the whole job, worked cleanly and rapidly. The final price was exactly as quoted. Now, we are moving and they have installed a new unit at the new house and did another premium job. They are neat, professional, and extra courteous. The after-sale service is concierge level. They check back on your unit a few months in, are always immediately available to answer a question and quick to come out and help with anything. Alexander and Marshall did our recent service check-up and they were great - arrived right on time, totally understood my description of a specialty adjustment I had in mind, had everything needed on the truck, and completed it in surprisingly minimal time. They even showed me how to set preferences on my Nest thermostat so I didn’t have to look it up. Plus, they were just so nice and professional. I wish I could give more stars.

Standard air conditioning responded to our loss of heat within minutes and was out the next day to replace the unit. They were professional, knowledgeable and through with their evaluation of the problem. They left the outside are better than they found it. We woke up this morning with no heat and after my husband tried what all he could do get it working told me I needed to call help. When I called Standard I spoke with Amy who went above and beyond to get us help today! She’s so friendly and helpful! Forrest texted me he was 15min away literally 20min later and this is when Knoxville is freezing and everyone is booked up. Forrest was super wonderful and the 2 guys that came later were as well. They had my heat back on in no time and were reasonable. I can not thank them enough and I will not be using another company as long as they are around.
Had to have a new HVAC unit installed right before Christmas, which is never a good thing. Eddie came out initially and thought he had a cheaper fix for my 1999 Trane unit that Standard has been nursing for about 2-yrs. But it was finally too far gone. So Eddie and Curt came out and installed a brand new Lennox system. All of this happened in a matter of 3-days. The whole team was focused on getting our heat back for my family as if it were there own family. From Forrest and Bruce to Eddie and Curt, everyone is a caring professional who knows their business well, but also has an incredible customer focus that truly stands out. I would highly recommend this team to anyone for service, repair, installation or whatever you need in the area of HVAC. We won’t be shopping anywhere else.
I called Bruce because my 92-year-old mother-in-law's heater was not working. He sent his guys out almost immediately to fix it and they did a great job for a more than fair price.
We have been using Standard for several years and highly recommend them. Bruce and his entire staff run this company the way a company should be run. They are the very best company we have ever used for anything. I wish more companies were like this…great communication, very knowledgeable, great follow-up and very courteous.
Standard delivers far above a standard performance in my opinion. They recommended and installed a 2 zone dual fuel system in my new house and I'm very pleased with its performance. Standard has been maintaining my system for 3 years and their overall performance is excellent. All around nice team!

Standard Air is THE service provider for all your HVAC needs. Carson, Forrest, Noah & Curt have all been the most prompt, courteous, committed, and knowledgeable HVAC techs we've ever worked with. Also thankful for Amy for keeping it all running smoothly behind the scenes. It is so rare to find such customer service skills in this trade. Standard Air values customer satisfaction and will advise you honestly. They are the BEST!

Noah and Kurt came out and finished installing a ductless mini-split unit. Took them no time at all to get it up and running. Can't suggest Standard enough for their professionalism and care.

I had the BEST experience with Standard A/C. Jason O., came to perform the annual A/C check and didn't deliver very good news....2 new condenser coils were required, not an easy or cheap fix. We had a conversation about options and settled on a course of action. Jason was fantastic. From scheduling to the actual work performed, we have had nothing but a great experience. HIGHLY recommended.
Standard HVAC has done an amazing job for me so far... I switched to them over a year ago and I am definitely glad I did! Carson, by far, is the best part of the entire experience. He's taken great care of me and my equipment for a year now. Please give them a shot!
I can't recommend Bruce and Standard Air Conditioning highly enough. He is one of the nicest people with whom I've worked. Bruce has run a couple of gas lines for me and installed line for a big pool heater in addition to HVAC repairs and service. Our upstairs HVAC broke this weekend, and the tech Forest had it fixed by noon today and was very nice and respectful of keeping everything clean. The service is very reasonably priced, professional, reliable, and quick!
Forrest Carroll came out to look at an exhaust fan in our bathroom. He fixed the issue and took pictures and explained the process to us. Very friendly and professional. I would recommend this company to anyone needing work.
