Called hurst on Christmas Eve hear went out. Didn’t have no heat. Called around was totaled to call Hurst. Called spoke with Jeff the owner. Was very professional and concerned. Told me he would get someone out that day. I was shocked but relieved. He sent JJ out very professional and very helpful. He had me up and going with in 20 mins. I’m so very thankful for Hurst heating and Air. I will always use them and recommend them to everyone. They gave me a blessed Christmas. They are very reasonably priced. And very professional. Professional HVAC tech here. Moved to Knoxville a month ago, and twice now I’ve come behind Hurst on system changeouts. Both times have been extraordinarily horrible. First it was 3 pieces of duct board, 1 piece of sheet metal, and some tape making up a section of duct. Now it’s a whole house’s ductwork, none of it being sealed. House has negative pressure, duct insulation is soaked. Strapped up so tight there are airflow restrictions.

Beware, Hurst Heating and Air does not stand behind their work. Called Hurst out due to my unit freezing up. A tech came out, said it needed Freon, he added some. Received a bill for $125.00. A few days later, unit froze again. Another tech came out. He says he needed to replace a part, but didn’t have one on his van, it would be Monday. Monday, another tech came out, and informed me the drain is clogged now, and unit needed more Freon. I received another bill for $195. 3 days later, unit froze AGAIN. Hurst sent ANOTHER tech out, and he was at my home for 10-15 minutes, discovered a Freon leak on the coil. Tech made the comment, “I’m not sure how the other 3 guys didn’t catch this.” Hurst called, and wanted over $1000 to replace the coil. After talking with the office, they decided they would delete the previous 2 invoices, and I would just have to pay for the parts and labor for the coil replacement. I received a 2nd opinion, and it is now replaced and warrantied our for 3 years for $600. Very unhappy with how things have been handled. I told the office I understood paying for the part, but not labor when this would be the 5th time someone would be out.
