Great place to unstop a trane

No where was it explained to me or on my receipt that a home owner could not return a brand new unused not needed part. It's sad a company will lose a customer over $17 now a days to their undisclosed "policy" The employee I spoke with said "I don't mean to sound cold, but you chose to come in and buy the part instead of hiring one of our contractors." This is a learning situation for this man. If I said "no offense,........." Chances are anything I say after it will be offensive. Obviously he knew he was being "cold" I will allow for trane to resolve this and update the review if I am reached out to this week.
