Technician came out. Problem not solved. Instead of trying to make it right they kept pushing us back. Person who answered the phone (and that is quite hard to have anyone actually answer) had a bit of an attitude. Wouldn’t recommend. Not sure how they have this rating on google because they do not have it elsewhere on other like yelp. I get times are tough but it could be ran better. DO NOT EVEN CALL , oh yeah they won’t answer.

Google made me give 1 star but If I could give much, much less than zero stars I would, the service is extraordinarily terrible, they never answer the phone, 10 messages to 1 return call ratio, they blow off appointments without any calls, and I just found out that the Air Handler Unit that they installed in my attic was installed incorrectly, with old parts, not properly sealed, with gaps in the insulation letting hot air into the unit thus stifling its cooling ability, not up to code without hurricane straps and the unit was not centered on the drip pan meaning that if it leaks it will go directly to the insulation and ceiling causing more issues. On top of that they did not come prepared to install my unit. They did not bring a shopvac, which I let them borrow mine but they lost one of the wheels in the insulation and didn't tell me, they just put it into my garage when they were done and also, I lent them a powerful light (which they did not have one) to help with their work and they took it with them when they left (hard to miss a giant 8x4 inch bright yellow light) and I still haven't heard from them, you'd think they would have known it wasn't theirs and returned it.
It took three visits to finish the job. The wrong part was installed the first time. The second tech did not know what the job was, had to go back for the needed part, couldn't find it, and neglected to let us know that he would not return that day. We waited for hours needlessly. Although the dispatcher who dealt with our phone calls was polite and helpful, communication skills among the techs are sadly lacking.
Part 1 on June 2: In March 2023, Rivers Reliable came out to fix our leaking HVAC ductwork. Incorrectly connected the system and it cracked again; in May 2023, HVAC ductwork came unattached and was pouring cold air into our attic instead of the house. The Rivers Reliable tech has been scheduled to come out 4 times. The first time, they came out unprepared without the supplies after I told the office twice what was wrong with the ductwork, then the second time didn't even make it out and cancelled last second with the claim that their van broke, and now the right supplies were forgotten yet again when we gave up our weekend plans due to “being on their schedule today but they forgot the supplies again.” We have cancelled and had to change plans as an inconvenience three times now plus miss work one day due to waiting on this company. Meanwhile our electric bill is getting jacked WAY up due to all the cold air escaping. How many times is it going to take to just get our ductwork patched back up? Meanwhile, this is having to get fixed again after their company is the one who had to fix it last time too and didn’t do it correctly, It shouldn’t even be needing fixed in the first place. We have given the company 4 chances to come out and fix it, but they either 1) stand you up and don’t show up and have excuses or 2) show up and suddenly realize they “forgot their supplies yet again.” They now have us rescheduled for sometime NEXT week; instead of making us a priority on the calendar since it’s THEIR bad faith and negligence that it wasn’t fixed over 2 weeks ago when originally scheduled. We are living in a warm house in 80-90 degree weather due to them! We tried to get American home shield to let us use another company under them since it’s under our home warranty insurance, but the tech Henry with Rivers Reliable is refusing to give up the work order, so they’re making us suffer instead. Rivers Reliable sent a tech who broke our upstairs split AC unit and claimed there was a problem with the mother board. It was working when he got there and broken when he left. When we finally got them back on the schedule, they left us hanging on FOUR separate occasions. We had appointments to trouble-shoot our HVAC system and they failed to show. They didn’t call and reschedule, they just failed to show. When I called to find out what was going on they were very dismissive. I will not work with them.

Avoid this place and do not use them for AC work. I’ve waited 3 months for them to fix my AC and had numerous excuses that either tells me they are lying or completely incompetent. Tried to get me to pay for modifications costs that were not needed then to back track and say I didn’t need them. Stuck using them through AHS and regret it now as I was trying to give them benefit of the doubt. Big mistake.
