He carefully explained cause and corrective repairs as well as cost, and answered my questions. They answered late at night and had people out the next morning for our AC that was giving us trouble. Richard and Tommy were the technicians that came out and they were extremely professional and friendly and helped us with the problem. Didn’t try to give us any sales pitch or anything like that and seemed pretty thorough. Were happy to answer all of my questions.

The technician did an excellent job of explaining the problem. However, there was solution. The heating and cooling mini split system was installed in October 2022. At the time of installation, It wasn’t explained to me that there were pvc pipes which carried water from each unit would drip onto my rooftop onto the ground below it. I saw this happening and called ARS about it. I was told before my question could be answered, a technician had to come out to diagnose the case. I had to pay a diagnostic fee of $100. My rating is based on not being told to expect this kind of water dripping from 4 different areas of my roof. When all 6 of the mini splits are running, it is as if it’s raining. And then to top it off, I am charged to be told something that should have been told to me back in October.

Stop taking appointments just to have people take off of work for 2-3 or more days and continually cancel. Pushing out for weeks just to get an initial consultation. Right up there with Xfinity and the DMV these people are a bunch of clowns

The worst AC company by far. Had to call them 4 times over a three day period to come fix a 13k over priced unit in my home. One month after I bought it the motor went out.

We had Jerell come out after we contacted Lowe’s to get an estimate. He was very nice, knowledgeable about the products and service, and was able to work with us and our needs. We had a whole hvac replacement. They got it done in 2 days and so far it is working like a dream. Our only fault with it so far is the google nest thermostat they installed. It was difficult to get it to connect to Wi-Fi for use with google home-however that’s a google problem and not at all the fault of ARS rescue rooter.

My ac went out and it was 89 in my house and after I checked all I knew to check I knew I needed a professional. ARS had installed my unit a few years ago and I knew they were prompt and go out of their way to make sure you are satisfied. Walt was very polite and professional. He answered all my questions and explained things to me as he was checking things. He quickly went to work and got my ac back up and running. Thank you Walt! They put in a whole house water system in five years ago. They told me to have it flushed out every five years. When they came to flush it out they said that couldn’t be done. We would have to have it completely replaced $1,500.00 or taken out for $375.00. Not to happy.

I was referred to ARS by Lowes to have my 17 year old HVAC unit replaced. I got an appointment with Mr. James Oswald within 2 days and he came to check what was needed. He gave me great advice on what unit to get to make sure it will last us as long as the first unit did. He did not had to recommend me higher quality units because literally all they sell was great quality already. He assisted me through the Lowes "My Project" process and even with the loan process to finance the unit. There was an offer to get smart thermostat's, so I control my home's temperature "James Bond Style" now. He also help me out with all possible rebates. The installation crew was on time and worked super fast to get the old unit out and the new one in. So far the unit is working great, love my thermostats. ARS also helped me with the Dominion energy rebate form that is available in my area months after the install. In my line of work I deal with a lot of companies where Sales and Service are complete different worlds, that is not the case with ARS Charleston, I was able to reach James in sales many times and he always responded, before the install, during the install and even after the install was done. That is the way to do business and create loyal customers. Thank you for the excellent service!
