Mr. James is the best! He is so knowledgeable and the kindest person I’ve met in a while! It was so refreshing to deal with a company that puts their customers first! He responded quickly over a holiday weekend too! He treated me like family AND fixed my AC during this awful Charleston heatwave! 100% recommend Changing Winds!!!!
Very unprofessional. Could not narrow down a day or time to come look at my unit. Asked me to inspect the unit and answer questions. When I said I’d prefer to let him look at it, he became very unprofessional and said I needed to get another technician. I did not appreciate the tone and lack of professionalism around scheduling. Would not recommend. *Edit: after reading other reviews, I see that other American Home Shield customers experienced the same treatment from James that I did. Very unprofessional.
Knowledgeable and very helpful. Tried two other people and was quoted 1000s of dollars. He was able to get us what we needed quickly and reduced the price the best he could. Haven’t had help like this since I moved here and I won’t forget it. James Stewart is in the business to get you fixed.

I called American Home Shields on a Wednesday and Mr. James Stewart showed up on Thursday afternoon. He found that there was a short in my AC system and he fixed it. The AC is now working well. He was polite, helpful and very considerate about our dog and two cats. I would recommend him to anyone. Jim Moose.
Mr James was very professional and was quick and very knowledgeable about my issue, I hope anytime I have an ac issue he can service my home
Mr James responded quickly to my service request on a Sunday morning. Came out and repaired my heating concern, in between rain showers. He had to wait until the rain stopped a bit so he could diagnose and see if it was a concern that could respond to immediately. I was most impressed with his professionalism and taking the time to help me to understand what parts was replaced and how to know if my unit is running properly, moving forward.
After contacting AHS, James called within minutes. He was professional and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend!
This is the second time James has come to fix my AC units. He is on time, has good communication, is professional, and courteous, knows what he is doing, and has saved me hundreds of dollars from qoutes from other HVAC companies. I would give him 6 stars if I could.

He arrived quickly, assessed what needed to be done and completed the repair in a professional and timely manner. In addition, he explained what /why he repaired. AHS sent Mr. James out to look at my unit bcuz I was having problems with it. He replaced my blower. He kept me in the loop with everything he was doing. He’s very professional and nice. I’d definitely recommend him. If I ever need service again I pray they send him back
James is great! He is a professional and a very customer focused individual. He came out twice and took care of different issues very quickly. I have yet to meet any contractor who is so responsive and wants to take of issues. If I need any fixing, he is the first person/company on my list.
Our AC/Heat pump went out last night. Five minutes after I requested service, James called me to set up the appointment. He worked around my schedule and had our system fixed less than 12 hours after the request was made. I will definitely be using him again in the future.
My home warranty referred this company to my home twice. Mr. James was professional and courteous. He is a expert in what he do!!!

James was sent by the American Home Warranty company as one of their contractors. He was friendly, professional and knowledgeable.
I can't recommend James from Changing Winds Heating and A/C highly enough. James was very responsive, prompt, friendly and extremely knowledgeable. James identified the problem immediately and repaired it quickly. James also took the time to explain everything he did to fix the problem and went above and beyond to help ensure it wouldn't happen again.
James is very professional, knows what he is doing and willing to accommodate you. I am very impressed by his service. This is the second time I have used his service and he is just excellent. I will high recommend him.
