Preferred Choice is great. Brittany is friendly, knowledgeable, and easy to talk to about issues. She was able to get Tyler, the tech, to our home for service as soon as she could. Tyler was kind, calm, and professional. Also very reassuring - all electric went done as he arrived. But he did the work and our A/C came on when the electric came back on. As he said it would. Thanks to you both. Could not have asked for better service.

I will never use this company again had used them for 3 or 4 years getting bi yearly maintenance on my system, had another reputable company clean my ducts they found mold all in my outdoor unit that had been there for quite some time, these guys had inspected 3 months earlier and told all is good. Guy I spoke to at the office apologized and said hewould try to get me a refund as they hit my card every month.Well guess what too bad for me no call or anything from the owner very poor business decision on his part big ripoff they are!!!
5 Star Update: I continue to use Preferred Choice for spring and fall service. They continue to exceed expectations. I had a small issue a year after my install. I won’t go into the details, just to say that they so exceeded my expectations with the way they handled the issue that my story will be the stuff of casual conversation from me for some time. These guys are great. You receive all the details with a follow up e-mail for each proposal. All questions are answered up front (Travis is wonderful explaining the details). Install is Scheduled well in advance. The team arrives and takes care of business leaving no trace behind other than a new, top notch system. All members of the team present themselves as the pros they are. And they even follow up to ensure everything is right. The biggest question: yes, I would use them again.
When I called for service as a REALTOR in the Upstate area, looking for an inspection on a system where my buyers had a contract, they knew EXACTLY what I wanted. I wanted to have the insides of the system completely opened up so the technician could see the condenser, the coils, the compressor and everything else that needed to be inspected. She explained what kind of report they would be sending so that the consumer and I could understand it. I told her we were up against a deadline and she managed to get a time that was convenient for all parties ... at a VERY reasonable price. I did have to cancel because the work was already done by the seller, unbeknownst to me at the time. Although I fibbed a little by saying I had used them in order to be able to write this review, I just wanted to acknowledge how professional, responsive and reasonably priced they were, and how much they understood our needs. I will call again! Thank you Preferred!!
I enjoy the professionalism that this company provides. From the phone conversations to the end where the technician goes over everything they have done in detail. Always have been on time and if they are running behind they have always called ahead to let me know in a timely manner. The tech's respect the homes of the owners and never leave trash or items behind. We have used this company many times for repair and installation.
We have been using Preferred Heating and Air for a year and they have been nothing but professional, curteous and very knowledgeable. Travis did a great job explaining everything to my wife and I about the different units and his recommendations. Everyone who has been involved from taking our phone calls to the maintenance and now installation of our new system have been great! Brittany, in the main office, is a very kind, pleasant & professional lady who confirmed & verified all info prior to the appt. Tyler is a very friendly & professional technician who serviced both my & my mother's homes on the same day & opted to complete both jobs before he even thought about taking his lunch break. He fixed an issue quickly but was very patient to explain to us what it entailed. He made sure both the heating & cooling systems worked properly as well. He also needed to use our waterhose as an extender to reach around to the unit (it was laying in disarray on the floor). After the job was completed, he took the time to wrap the hose back into a neatly coiled bundle where it was safely out of the way. That was very thoughtful and showed much respect for his work ethic & his customers. Thank you again for great customer service! Blessings to your company & employees ((:

Excellent service
For several years Preferred Choice Heating and Air kept my old system operating until it was finally time for a new one. They provided the financing and installed an awesome unit and now my monthly bills are half what they used to be because of the new Trane unit.
Andy came and was very professional and thorough. Scheduling was easy and the communication with the main office about when the technician would arrive was very helpful in planning the day. Highly recommend.
Tyler B. showed up on time and was VERY informative and professional with a extremely fair price. I also worked with Brittany to schedule and she was friendly and very professional as well. I wish there were more stars to give. I will most definitely be calling them again.
The absolute best service, professionalism and honesty. (Avi) I have a home warranty on my home and of course filed a claim through them. I won’t mention the company but will say they gave me a $1600 quote so I decided to get a second opinion. Avi was kind enough to take the time to show me pictures of what he found and explain everything in detail. He did find a leak in the evaporator coil and said it needed to be replaced however none of the $1600 modifications that were given from the prior diagnosis were needed. If you need HVAC service, Preferred Choice Heating and Air should be your only choice!

Technician quickly discovered problem that earlier company had overlooked or ignored six months earlier. The recommended response was a leak stopping and dyed refrigerant, along with topping up the Freon. The technician would return in two weeks and complete any needed repairs after locating leaks that would be stained with the dye. They called a couple of days in advance of the two weeks to set an appointment. The technician arrived on time and inspected the system. As it happened, the stop leak was sufficient and no further repairs were needed. There was no charge for the second visit. That was the perfect outcome. The work and materials were appropriately offered and realistically priced. The system immediately started working better than it had for the last few years. No unneeded expenses were suggested. There is a different company with an almost identical name, but THIS is the right one. Just remember that you have a CHOICE.
Imagine this. Get a call from your wife at 3PM that the air is out upstairs on 100* day and your kids sleep upstairs. Nobody could get to us same day but Preferred did. One of their technicians came after hours, on his daughters birthday of all days, and wanted to help so our kids didn’t have to sleep in the heat. Fixed the issue quickly and was super helpful.
