I had Phillips remove an old oil boiler and install a new gas boiler through the RISE energy efficiency incentive program. From start to finish working with Phillips was one of the best contractor experiences I've had. I received a competitive quote AT the job evaluation; the office was easy to get ahold of, and guided me through the entire RISE paperwork process; and the install team was professional, courteous, clean and fast. The final install is really neat and tidy. These guys are truly above and beyond.
The tech came out for a quote fairly quickly, which was the most positive part of my interaction with this company. I was charged a $49 dispatch fee which I initially felt was fair. However, when the tech came out, he gave me extremely high estimates--$265 for a faucet replacement! Up to $8000 for a hot water tank! He came out on Friday and said he would email me quotes by Saturday. It's been a week and a half and I still have not received the email.
Highly professional, on time, and efficient. We hired them to replace our heating and water system through the RISE program. They are extremely knowledgeable and trustworthy.
I had a clogged bathroom sink and a p-trap that did not allow for a quick disassembly. It was glued together and thus had to be cut in order to access it. I called Phillips for a non-emergency fix requesting that a new P-trap be installed to allow for easier access should it become clogged in the future. Phillips came out and cut out the P-trap but discovered the clog was further down the pipe. instead of fixing the clog himself, the technician outsourced the job to a subcontractor who cleared the drain and crudely clamped the drain back together. This was supposed to be the conclusion of the job. I immediately called Phillips who put me in touch with the technician who wanted to charge me an additional $117 just to put the drain back together in a proper way. I had already paid a whopping $404 for a pipe to be cut and for a subcontractor to put a snake down my drain. After getting nowhere with the technician, I called the office and spoke to Natalie who sent the technician back to my house to complete the job. The job did not include what I initially asked for which was a p-trap assembly that allowed for easier disassembly. Very disappointed! I will never use them again!
Enrique responded to my emergency call. Worked hard to evaluate an old system that maybe he wasn't given enough training to work on. As result I payed a fee that would have cost half with old school mechanic. Maybe my friends Mike and John should understand that in their area there are many old systems that require not the next inline emergency person on duty. Again Very impressed that Enrique worked hard to fix my problem. Just talked to rep on 01/24. Offered $117 refund on $700 charge to replace $70 pilot that I offered to supply. Given that I accepted $250 emergency call why the difference. The owner may be losing sight of how he got there. Almost like he disappeared.
They are fantastic to work with! They were great when we had an emergency leak, and now we use them for yearly service. Very efficient, always friendly customer service and affordable.
These guys are the best. I had an emergency! My sewer line collapsed and I needed someone right away. I called Phillips Plumbing and the owner John Phillips came down, looked at the job and provided me with an estimate within 48hrs. Their price was less than most estimates I received and was able to schedule the job and get the work done quickly. Thank you John and your awesome crew!!!!
Ken, the serviceman discovered a major leak in the dishwasher drain hose and also a leak in the dishwasher water hose. Both were dealt with efficiently and happy to say dishwasher back in service.
Last night I got a call from one of my employees saying that there was water leaking through the wall at a quick rate. The dining room and bathroom were being flooded. I tried the business manager for the building but they left and I couldn't get ahold of them, and the business next to us that seemed to be where the water was comming from had closed for the night. There was no way to access the main water line because, no business manager = no keys to get to. John was our plumber that came in a timely manner, even though it was late at night. He had to preform the only option with the sources available. It was unbelievable to see him pull off cutting 2 of the punctured waterline in half, and then attaching temporary valves onto the water gushing lines. If he did not do this, our entire building would be a foot deep in water by the time the building manager came in today. Thanks John for your bravery in that task last night. You are a true hero!
They answerd phone immed, on a sun night. Then they call bk early mon and schedule u, by 830 mon Leroy was here, had everything w him, done by 1030, clean prof, most imp quality work. Slightly more than I expected by abt 100, but wen ur fixing water stuff u want it fixed 1st time guaranteed so it's worth that.
From start to finish, we had the best experience with Phillips Plumbing & Mechanical. When we called late Wednesday night for a plumbing problem, Kim quickly returned our call and was so helpful. John took care of us later that evening. Our issue was resolved FIRST thing Thursday morning by Leroy. Leroy was WONDERFUL! Thank you all for being so responsive and professional. Thank you Phillips Plumbing & Mechanical...we are so happy we found you!

This was not philips plumbing and heating they used a subcontractor to remove asbestos snow man boiler the company that removed it was B&D boiler removal even though I was expecting philips to do removal and install new boiler I am very pleased with B&D removal they were prompt professional and on time and told me over phone what and when what they were doing and they were fast and clean nice job to there crew thank you and philips plumbing good choice for using them thank you philips for handling this all for us you guy's are doing a great job hope to have heat in day or two I can't walk so I hope everything is good down there in basement they removed very very fast couldn't believe it is gone
They were able to send Bernie out day of for a non-emergency issue. He came around 5pm and stayed till around 7:30 and was able to resolve our issue, which we really appreciated his willingness to work late. He was polite, straight forward and very clean which was nice as he was doing pipe work in a freshly reglazed bathroom with new floors Something that caught us off guard was they had a $40 charge for them to come out to give a quote, that I didn't recall hearing about prior to him coming out.
Scott was efficient, polite, and answered all my questions! Am happy this group will now be servicing my system.
