Our boiler went out early morning in late December so we gave C&A a call to see if they could come out and take a look. Anthony and Brian were here within an hour and a half and got the part fixed very quickly. Our heat was back up and running quickly and the price for the work was very reasonable. Anthony even offered to clean the burners while he was here as well. Can't thank them enough, will be using them again!
This was our first experience with C&A per the recommendation of a neighbor and they did not disappoint. Doug is very knowledgeable & friendly. He was very thorough in checking our system & explained things so that we could understand. Fair pricing. Pointed out mistakes made by companies we used in the past, who we can now see were more concerned about profit than honesty. You will not go wrong with this family business. Wish we knew about them sooner! Thank you!

So at 70 yrs old and dealing with this company since the 70’s when Doug serviced my business location, I have never used anyone else to service or replace any heating or A/C unit including hot water heaters. He is friendly, honest and extremely competent. He was as old as his clone of a son, Anthony is now. I say clone because Anthony has learned well and exhibits the same expertise and talent. This team is like Batman and Robin of Gotham climate but you’ll actually get two Batman’s! They will never disappoint or mess up. They have solved every issue or problem quickly regarding my older equipment. They explain every detail. They can salvage or replace but will always guide you to the right solution. If you are tired of the bigger companies that worry more about profit than honesty then look no further. You will be in the best of hands. My history here goes back nearly half a century and so this review is long overdue. The 5 Star reviews I have just noticed are real and so is this one.

We had our heater breakdown at the worst time, with the temperature dropping and snow falling up to 10” inches outside. Our home warranty company American Home Shield sent out MDT to service our heater, “and they were HORRIBLE”! The tech who came out started a fire in our basement, and then told the warranty company that it was our fault! Thank God we found Anthony & C&A !!! Not only did they show up ASAP, but they treated us like family and made sure that we had temporary heaters until the job was done. Our warranty company AHS failed us...The company they sent out MDT was a nightmare....”But C&A saved the day”!!! God bless these guys!!!!
I highly recommend C&A. Doug, Anthony, John, and Dan are an excellent team! They showed up when they said they would, did a beautiful job removing my 70 year old boiler and installing a brand new system, and took the time to patiently answer my questions and explain the new system. They are a local family business based out of Springfield. I plan on using C&A for all of my future heating and cooling needs.
I had several companies come in to see what was wrong with my heater and no one could even diagnose the problem - cost me hundreds of dollars and C & A came in and said - oh it's this - and repaired it and it has worked fine since. I do have them come in yearly to clean and keep it up because it is a Weil McClain boiler that is 50 years old! Love these guys.

Anthony and Doug are simply angels. We woke up to a busted central air unit and gave them a call. They were able to squeeze us in and fix our issue. They were prompt, accommodating, professional, and kind. Reasonable prices, and a real family business. They're the dream team! My husband and I cannot recommend them enough!!!! We will never call anyone else for our heating and cooling needs!
I called this morning around 9am on the hottest day of the year so far, they were onsite by 10:30am and unit repaired in about 10 minutes. House is cooling again, reasonable cost for the SUPER fast turn around. Great service, thank you.
Before we reached out to C & A Heating and Cooling, we had a bad experience with a different company we worked with.That being said, we didn't have AC for many weeks. The main reason why we called them is because of the reviews on Google so we can avoid the same conflict we had with the last company. Doug and Anthony are amazing. They exceed our expectations. Since my sister and I haven't had AC in weeks, they got our AC fixed in just 2 hours. Great prices. 10/10 recommend. 100% will use this service again
Been using C&A for years. Can't say enough This father and son team know how to take care of their customers! Fair pricing. They know how to diagnose any HVAC problem, where the next bigger companies would just try to sell you another unit! They respond to any call right away. you don't see service like this today!

They were very responsive to my Urgent request for someone to investigate my furnace for issues we were having on a Sunday. They quoted me a 2 hour timeframe and they were able to make it within 90 minutes. He was very thorough in his assessment and honest with his recommendations. We would ABSOLUTELY utilize them again for any issues we have from now on!
Great Company! Anthony and Doug promptly came out, were professional, fair and above all honest. They diagnosed and fixed the problem within 20 min and, unlike some of the larger companies out there, at no point did they try to upsell me or charge unreasonable fees/rates. Thank you!
