by far.. the worst co. ive ever dealt with. They left me without a working furnace. At the time the furnace was only 10 yrs old. Ive been living with space heaters for the last 4 years. They wanted 8,000 for a new furnace.. claiming the chimney had collapsed and they had to re-route venting. This was FALSE. Now Ive called another service who will turn my furnace back on for just a service fee charge.

Bill and the rest of the Top Notch team provided a great service for our home. When we called him out to get a quote for replacing our old furnace and adding central A/C, Bill was very informative and helped us decide what kind of system would get us the most bang for our buck. His team was able to start the install VERY quickly. We gave him the notice to proceed on a Friday and the crew was on site by the next Tuesday. Other contractors we called were looking at 2-3 weeks' lead time at a minimum. The Top Notch crew had removed the old furnace and installed the new A/C, furnace, premium air filter, bypass humidifier, and Ecobee smart thermostat all within a day and a half. The only reason they didn't finish on Day 1 was because of some challenging duct work they needed to accommodate. After the crew finished, we were given a tutorial of how to use the Ecobee and how to maintain our system to ensure it lasts a long time! Thanks again to Bill, Patrick, and the rest of the crew! We are very satisfied with our new HVAC system and would definitely recommend this contractor to do a Top Notch job on other people's homes.

Turned around in my driveway after doing work at a neighbor’s house; as I have two LARGE WELL LIT SIGNS saying “NO TURN AROUND”. If you’re doing work at someone’s home, use THEIR driveway. No excuse for that. It wasn’t like they went up a small amount they were basically at the front door. Just ridiculous.

Appointment window was set and service tech showed up at the beginning of the time frame. Very professional and knowledgeable. Had the system running again in less than 1 hour. The cost was very reasonable. I would recommend this company for any HVAC maintenance/service.

Bill and his team were easy to work with. All were pleasant, professional and efficient. Patrick and Chris came to our house to install an AC unit. AC is working great and they installed google thermostat too. Bill did a great job educating me on the issue with our AC and options to fix it. Very upfront and honest. Would highly recommend.

Bill helped us to assess our boiler and heating system in our new (old) house. He was extremely knowledgeable, experienced and was willing to explain everything to me and address all of our questions, which I really appreciated! Bill was generous with his time and expertise - even though we decided to hold off on the project he didn't charge us anything for the consultation. We would absolutely contact Top Notch again for any future projects or repairs.

I've used Top Notch for a few years for my rentals HVAC. They're pretty responsive, haven't ever tried to sell me on work that didn't need done, and have competitive pricing. They do get petty busy and I've gotten the cold shoulder a few times though.

On one of the coldest days our furnace decided to stop working. I looked around for a heating repair and read the reviews so I decided to give them a try. It was after 6pm when I called and a little over an hour the repair man was here. He replaced our pressure valve with a part he had with him and we were up and furnace working great in 20 minutes. Parts, after hours, emergency call, repair and friendly service was $205. I wish I remembered our repair persons name as he was great. He even left the old part here. (Which as you know some will repair good parts and take them and charge for items not needed.) Amy husband is handy so prior to calling we of course YouTubed how to repair, had a few ideas of what it could be. I called figuring if I purchased the 3 parts my husband could fix it, Needless to say no where even had the parts so I was so happy they had the Goodman furnace parts on the van. I cannot say enough good about our experience. Thank you for your speedy service will definitely use them again.

Several years ago, a technician from thiscompany came out to service our furnace. He was an older gentleman, although I do not recall his name. He cleaned out the drain of the furnace and reworked the entire PVC drain system. When he did so, there was more than a 4 inch rise over the course of the final PVC drain pipe. When I questioned him about this being inclined toward backing up water into the unit, he scolded me and told me that he knew what he was doing and that this was the correct way to run the drain. Needless to say, the unit developed issues and it rusted the entire collection pan of the unit out. Normally, I do not complain about work done at my home, even when mistakes are made. I allow a company to make them better and move on. But in this case. I did not contact Top Notch, as I felt the technician not only did the wrong thing, rather he also made me as the homeowner feel as though I was in the wrong. During the visit, he also upsold me the brand sold by your company. Had the visit gone well, I would've purchased your brand. But in the end, I knew something was amiss and that I should go through another contractor. Gerard H/C in Moon did the work, if you disbelieve my account of the work. As a company, I feel as though this feedback is important, although I have nothing whatsoever at all to gain from this.

Four words come to mind from my experience working with Billy Rielly, the owner of Top Notch Hearting and Air: Offensive, Hot-Headed, Foul-Mouthed and Unprofessional. I was shocked when I received a verbal tongue lashing over a disagreement by such a classless individual. Our disagreement was sparked by an employee of Top Notch entering the job-site without permission. Mistakes were made in the past by this employee and I personally wanted to be on-site to avoid another costly mistake being made. This disagreement has now progressed into Billy’s lack of accountability. The Furnace and Condensation Pump recently installed by Billy is not pumping and leaking water on to my basement floor. I understand issues sometimes arise when firing up a new furnace for the first time however I’ve been reaching out to Billy for over a month with no response to remedy his mistake. Billy’s lack of concern for this issue is very discouraging and should be a red flag to any homeowner or investor purchasing HVAC systems from Top Notch Heating and Air.
