I would not recommend this business under any circumstances. My furnace is only 4 years old and stopped blowing hot air. We requested that a tech come out and see if he could fix things. He looked for a few minutes before confidently telling me that I needed a whole new furnace and it was going to be $6,285.00. I was shocked, but accepted what he said. I was grateful he didn't charge me the standard service fee to come out. Prior to scheduling the new install, I thought I better get more than one quote. Thank god I did. A salesman from another local H&C company came by and quickly let me know there was no need to replace my furnace, it just needed repaired. He also told me even if I did need a new furnace - it would only be $4,500. After the salesman left, a tech came and fixed the problem in 40 minutes for free under their "second look policy". These guys are either total crooks, or have no idea what they are doing. Please patron another business!

I would rather freeze to death than give this business any money. Terrible customer service, terrible work...cannot believe they're even in business. If I could give negative stars I would.

Had both my circuit board on my furnace fail and my compressor fail on my condensing unit fail within the same 12 months. Jim came and was able to fix both of them at fair prices. He was very friendly and professional.

I called and emailed Equitable Heating about scheduling an appointment to have a furnace tune up. They did not return my calls and the email response stated that I would have to call to make an appointment. Second phone call was during normal business hours but a message was left with their answering service. Never heard back from. Very poor service in getting them to call you back.

My wife applied for a Service Call Scheduler position here. Some guy called her from a private number and when she didnt answer, because most private numbers are telemarketers, the voicemail he left literally says, "Hi, *name*, we uh.... Well... I guess...well...we were gonna give you a shot but I guess you're, I dunno... Must be screening calls. It's a quarter after ten.... Alright we're gonna move on to the next one.". He didn't leave his name, and when she called back she was put on hold for 20 minutes just to be told they didnt know who to transfer her to and to call back later. If they're willing and obviously ok with treating prospective employees this unprofessionally, I can't even imagine how they must treat the customers. Absolutely ridiculous.

-He can fix it! ( I had 5 different AC companies come over to my house and try to fix my unit "they could not fix this unit") "This guy came over & fixed it in an hour." -Everybody else told me they couldn't figure it out and I need to buy a new unit. (I'm using this guy from now on.) His names Jim.

Had an issue with my AC not producing cold air. I called Equitable Heating & Air Conditioning and got someone on the phone right away. They were able to have a technician out to my house within a few hours and he was able to diagnose the problem quickly. He completed the repairs quick & efficiently and had my house cooling down in no time. The price was fair and he was honest about it upfront, it is expected as these services do not come cheap. Overall, I am very satisfied with the services and would call again if I needed to.
