Company installed new furnace and a/c unit. They were professional, knowledgeable, on-time, friendly, and dependable. It was also very reasonably priced. Highly recommend this company!
I needed a consult on moving a radiator. They called me right back and set up an appointment. Greg took his time, explained all the pipes involved and what it would entail. He was honest, courteous and knowledgeable. Great company all around!

Excellent HVAC Company and fast professional service. Admiral Heating and Cooling Company of Pittsburgh installed our new furnace, air conditioner, humidifier and air cleaner in less than a day. The quality of work was outstanding. The new system is working great. Just an overall great experience having Admiral replace our HVAC system. I will highly recommend them to my friends, neighbors and relatives.

They basically removed a old HVAC system that got destroyed from a water heater failure one apt. above mine. They came the next day and measured for new equipment. Two days later the entire new system was installed by what I observed to be a very skilled crew. The owner arrived first on the install day to make sure everything was ready to go smoothly and quickly. I got good equipment mostly from Lennox, a well known manufacturer. I have been in the apartment leasing/management business for 40+ years and these guys are as good as I have ever used. I would recommend them for sure. David in Oakland.

Admiral Heating & Cooling installed our A/C, heating, & ductwork in 2012. They did an amazing job with a system that was personally tailored to our home and needs. In 2022 our A/C developed a coil leak. The coil was still under manufacturers warranty. After a quick assessment of the problem, the professionals at Admiral Heating & Cooling arranged for the warranty part and when it was available they promptly came and made the repair. Service techs were very friendly and courteous, leaving absolutely no mess. Incredible work at an affordable price - great value. I highly recommend Admiral Heating & Cooling!

I have used Admiral Heating and Cooling for over 25 years both professionally and residentially. Any time that there has been a problem, they have responded with in 24 hours, whether a pilot light issue or replacing a furnace in the middle of winter. When I needed them to add UV light protection and HEPA filters to my office units, they handled the upgrades professionally and in a timely manner. I first started using Admiral with Mr Ubinger and Steve has continued the wonderful relationship. Thank you to Admiral Heating and Cooling and the Ubingers
Overcharges for parts For a next day service call, Brian was two hours late. He charged $98 for the visit and $456 for a combustion motor. It took him about fifteen minutes to install the motor, and my furnace was working again. I’m not sad about the cost of the service call. He had to go get the part, drive to my home, and then install it. $98 seems about the right price for a winter service call. However, looking up the price of this combustion motor on Amazon, I see it cost only $135 retail including shipping. I am sure that Brian doesn’t pay retail prices for furnace parts. He probably paid less than $100 for this part. If he had marked that part up an additional $100 I would not be writing this review. He’s entitled to make money on parts. But marking up a $100 part by $356 is abusive. The argument could be made that I would have had to wait for a part from Amazon to arrive. I live alone, and I would have spent a day in the cold for $356. But Brian told me he wouldn't install a customer supplied part. "Marking up parts is part of how I make my living." On a fixed income, this markup hurts. I ran a service business for years, and wouldn’t have treated my customers this way. If you’re thinking of calling Admiral Heating, just be forewarned about their tactics. Sincerely

We bought a house with two very old furnaces. The previous owner used Admiral. One of the furnaces didn't turn on so we called Admiral figuring they might have some background on our home and heating system. We called in the morning and within three hours, Joe was at my door to take a look at the furnace. He diagnosed the problem in less than five minutes, ordered the part from our house, picked it up, and was on his way to get it. He was back and had the unit fixed by 2:30pm the same day. I highly recommend Admiral and Joe specifically for their prompt service, friendliness, and knowledge. We'll give Admiral a call the next time we need help.
Our home is now 20 years old and in need of a new and improved HVAC unit. We chose Admiral to do the work. Scheduling was quick and easy, the installation was done by a team of professionals and the work area was left cleaner than when the installation was started. BTW, the cost was fair and reasonable. We have been very pleased with Admiral. They installed our Furnace/Air Conditioner unit in 1996. Since then they have been very prompt in any maintenance or minor repairs. When it came to replace the unit this year they provided us with the information to choose the appropriate replacement and when we were ready for the replacement came out promptly replaced the system in half a day. The people who have provided the services have always been prompt and professional and would recommend them to anyone seeing HVAC services.
I can’t say enough good about this company! When I moved to Pittsburgh in 2007 and purchased my house I started immediately having furnace problems. I didn’t know who to call, so I saw a commercial on tv for a horrible deceptive company that begins with a “G”. They told me I had a carbon monoxide leak, and shut my furnace down. Someone told the to call Admiral Heating. They came in my house, there was no carbon monoxide leak, it was a 50.00 fix. Company “G” wanted to install a whole new furnace unnecessarily. Since then they have installed a new furnace and new air conditioning unit. Always fair prices. Anytime I call for service, they are there the same day! Highly recommended!!

We have used Admiral Heating for years, and have recommended them to many people, all who have been very pleased. They have changed our boiler that was over 30 years old, and designed and engineered a system that uses our hot water from the new boiler (which is in the basement) which automatically pumps the hot water to our air handler which is in our attic, creating a forced air heating system, all controlled directly from the thermostat. The new system allows us to reduce the temperature in the house when traveling, and quickly heats the house, (using the forced air heat) as opposed to waiting several hours for the radiant heat system to warm the house. Couldn’t imagine a better solution! Outstanding and professional service from their entire team! They are truly the best contracting service we have ever dealt with!
