Very responsive. They came when they promised, they diagnosed and repaired my central air on time and at the price quoted. My tech was polite and thorough. Well equipped trucks and professional from start to finish. I would recommend them highly. It’s comforting to know they are there when I need them.

I can't say enough positive things about Bachman & Sons. We had a brand new HVAC system installed by another company about a year and a half ago and have had nothing but problems; ongoing leaks, loss of heat/hot water multiple times, piping issues, etc. We called Bachman to fix our system and they were wonderful. Joe was on time, friendly and professional. He diagnosed and repaired the problems immediately and ensured our system was safe and working correctly. He communicated with my husband and me to make sure we knew what was going on the whole time. He even checked in with us a couple days after the repairs were complete to make sure things were working properly. My only regret is not calling them initially to install our system. If you want a family run, honest, dependable company, call Bachman.
We were referred by our landlord who has used Bachman for decades. We couldn't be more happy with their service. Incredibly prompt, and in a year of multitudinous delays, they were able to install a new Mini-split system almost immediately after we called. Professional people, great service, and incredibly timely. A great find if you need an HVAC person.

Extremely prompt, professional and fair pricing. As a real estate agent, I work with and/or refer contractors to clients quite a bit. Some are better than others. I would highly recommend Bachman Plumbing and Heating!

Had an issue with my water heater, technician was responsive & professional- resolved it quickly.
I have only owned my house for 6 months at the time of writing this review and had to call Bachman three times for different repairs and every time I have been overly impressed. They come when they say they will, and even showed up early two of the times. The first time our heater went out 2 days before Thanksgiving...I called them that night, the next morn (Thanksgiving Eve) they called and said they would be over in an hour. They showed up in 30 mins. They needed a part that was up in Norristown (40 minutes away)...instead of saying we would have to wait for the part to be delivered or that they'd come back after Thanksgiving, the repairman drove to Norristown and back (with chance of snow in forecast mind you) and finished the repair that day so we could have heat. That certainly left an impression of guys that will not only fix it, but go the extra mile if needed in a tight situation regardless of a holiday or pending snow. I'm definitely a customer for life!
Incredibly disappointed with Bachman. Our heater stopped working the night before Christmas Eve (we also have two little girls who are under the age of 4). We called and scheduled for them to come and take a look the morning of Christmas Eve as part of our service agreement. They were at our house for under a half an hour and told us that it was a thermostat issue and that it would need to be replaced. We were told that it would be much cheaper for us to install it ourselves (in fact, they told us that they had no thermostat on them to do it). They said it was an easy fix. So my husband and extended family spent our Christmas Eve finding a thermostat and getting it installed. While trying several times to start the heater, we would hear it start and shut off after a few minutes. My husband called that night and left a message about the problem. We celebrated Christmas in our house with no heat while my husband called again in the morning and left a message. Our call was returned by the owner with anger and attitude from Bachman where we were told again “it was a thermostat issue” and that “we should not have installed in ourselves.” We were also told that he would not call his maintenance men since it was Christmas and “they have kids.” In no way would my family ever want to burden another family on a holiday; however this is their job...and one they screwed up in the first place. We quickly told them their service was no longer wanted or needed. We had family from out of town arriving on Christmas (2 more children under the age of 4) and had no heat on Christmas. We had another company come and look the following day who quickly realized that our blower motor was burnt out. Thankfully they were able to fix it quickly. To sum up a long review, I am disgusted by the way Bachman treated my family. It was completely unprofessional and not someone we will ever give our business to again.

Mr. Bachman And his family are great. A/C went out. He came right over and gave us our options. They put in a new system and saved us 1000's by letting us pick the system we wanted and could afford. They have also come out to do repairs to our old system, always came on short notice, they are always here to help and I highly recommend this family owned business!!
So happy with their service! They come within a day of my emergency calls. I needed whole new HVAC system. Their prices were excellent and they were able to start a day early on the job. So thankful I found them, Highly recommend.
I can't say enough good things about Bachman, their service is outstanding. The person I spoke to on the phone was enthusiastic, easy to understand, and was able to get someone to my house very quickly. The two times I've used Bachman the service technician arrived promptly, quickly diagnosed my problem, and quoted me a fair price below the national average I found on google. The technicians Bachman sent out were friendly and left the area they worked in spotless. On my last service call they were even kind enough to not charge the emergency weekend rate when I had an electrical problem keep my furnace from starting and they even arrived within an hour of my phone call.
I have used Bachman & Sons for over 12 years. Mr Bachman is always helpful and very nice. The quality of work is always outstanding. In the few emergencies I've had over the years they have always responded very quickly. Never any high pressure sales like the big Company's. Just a great family owned business. If I could give more stars you bet I would.
