I had a back up in our basement Sunday, 3/26/23. I was told it would be $240 per hour. Being that it was on a Sunday I had little choice. I talked to the plumber at 8:31am. He Arrived a little after 9 and left by 10am. I was charged $575 for a 2.5 hour service call when someone was only at my house for less than an hour. There was no other fees on my receipt other than a 2.5 hour call. It was not even 2 hours from when we spoke until when he left. I completely understand a weekend service call being more expensive but the timeframe was drastically inflated and made for an unreasonable bill that I ended up paying because I didn’t have a choice. The equipment that the gentleman had was malfunctioning and it took time to move equipment back up and down our stairs as he tried to rectify the situation….still not over a hour visit. Crud was dragged all through my kitchen and through my walkway carpet. I’m really disappointed that we were taken advantage of. I would not recommend. If someone from the company reads these, I would really like to hear from a manager in regards to the matter.
Replaced our hot water tank. Did a great job. Fast and friendly.
I have a somewhat of an oddball furnace , there aren’t a lot of this model in the area . So when something goes wrong the men & women at Spaeder are my go to company as they usually have whatever widget part in stock or can get it overnight and my HVAC system up and running again . They are clean courteous and respectful , naturally taking appropriate precautions to keep them and you from cold or sick . They are a large operation and yet very nearby when you need them .
I use them for every plumbing issue I have, they are professional, great pricing and have always done a great job.

Marty came out and did a fantastic job. He is a detective and found the source of our leak quickly. A prior plumber had said we needed to replace our toilet saying that was the source of the leak but I wanted a second opinion. Well, it turned out that the toilet only needed a quick repair and Marty found the actual cause, a bathtub issue. Marty was polite, professional, and informed, and tolerated our endless questions. Overcharged in my opinion. No estimate was given in the first place. They included driving time in their invoice. Service time was not accurate. Would not recommend.
Had a brand new HVAC unit installed for my commercial rental unit with a 5 year warranty. Stopped during a snowstorm in the first 6 months and had to call someone so the building wouldn't freeze. No estimate, no warning... just a bill for $518.00! Could not reach anyone to discuss the billing so it was sent to my landlord who then sent a threat of legal action. Nice customer service for a brand new $10,000 unit.
We had a slight gas leak at our new home, they were here fixed it and had us all set before I even went to work the next day after I called. Friendly, polite, informative! We could not be happier!

I needed to have freon removed from a nonworking freezer. I called and had an appointment the next day. The appointment was made so I did not have to take time off work and he arrived exactly at the scheduled time. He was very efficient and they practice covid policies.

I am changing my review. The work done was great, they rectified a situation I had with them and then without needing to they found a problem with my bill and refunded the difference. I never would have known and it was appreciated. I look forward to using them again ( I hope I don't need to any time soon, but I will if I have to)
William T Spaeder Company is the exact model of what a plumbing company should be: honest and punctual! This company identified my plumbing problem to be THOUSANDS less than what I was told. They were highly professional and diligent! They have earned a lifelong customer!
